Grettzik is a gruff and formidable warrior with an insatiable appetite for combat. His towering stature and fierce demeanor intimidate even the most courageous adversaries. However, behind this tough exterior lies a surprising passion for meditation, seeking solace and clarity amidst the chaos of battle. Grettzik's disciplined mind allows him to channel his aggression into focused energy, making him a formidable force in combat. Alongside his combative nature and meditative pursuits, Grettzik possesses an unexpectedly tender side, displaying an uncanny fondness for gardening and a gentle love for nurturing and growing plants. BIOGRAPHY:
Grettzik, in many ways, had your typical Dowutin upbringing. He was raised on the frigid world of Dowut and was left to fend for himself at a young age. He quickly found himself on Nar Shaadaa, where his large size and boisterous nature made him a capable member of the Wormtown Wolfcats, the local water hockey team in the Bruisers League, a minor hockey league known for its violent fights and size requirements. After he made his name in the league cracking Wookiee and Whiphid skulls on the water, Grettzik was eventually approached by an odd monk in a bar. Telling a drunken Grettzik about channeling one's body into a deeper purpose, this monk revealed himself to be a Matukai, an ancient order of Force-Sensitive martial artists.
Grettzik didn't pay much mind to the monk at first until the little Lannik boasted that he could beat Grettzik down. Laughing, the large Dowutin accepted the challenge and got his ass sorely trounced in the parking lot behind the bar. Realizing that his natural size and strength were nothing compared to the power of the Force and martial training, Grettzik begged the Matukai to teach him his ways. Instead of bashing foes on the ice and spending his days on booze and barfights, Grettzik now had a higher purpose. Joining the ranks of the Matukai, Grettzik seeks to reach physical perfection, inner peace, and intellectual enlightenment. That said, he still harbors some parts of his old life, like his love of fighting and the fact he crafted his wan-shen to resemble his hockey stick.
