DISTINGUISHING MARKS: A old scar that loops around her throat. Wild, vibrant hair colors that she changes often. Both ears pierced twice.

FORCE SENSITIVE: No.

STRENGTH: 6/10 The best way to describe Gris is fit. Her life of physical labor and training in preparation for her Verd’goten (as well as the continued honing of her skills afterwards) has rendered her a powerful, adept fighter. Her extra limbs allow added muscle to a taut figure that is well-muscled with little fat. She could easily lift 45 kilos using all four arms, half that with the use of only one set.

DEXTERITY: 5/10 Gris is average in the ways of speed and nimbleness, she is not particularly speedy or adept with evasive movements or delicate activities using her hands. Compared to two armed species she might be considered efficient and speedy when performing acts with all of her hands; but to other Codru-Ji she is not miraculous in any way. Even struggling with using her off hands (all but her top-right arm are considered ‘off’) when something calls for multitasking.

CONSTITUTION: 7/10 Gris is above the average peak physical condition for her species/gender/age. She has no pre-existing conditions that affect how she physically performs, her immune system is impeccable. Her endurance is outstanding, she can go for hours before tiring and as per her species, does not require food or water as often as other species. Her pain threshold is to be commended but this is an untested aspect of her physiology.

INTELLIGENCE: 5/10 Gris is of an average intelligence. While she will not be inventing the next series of star cruisers or finding a cure for the Blue Shadow virus, she is quick to learn and absorbs most everything readily.

WISDOM: 4/10 Isolation has left Gris with a decided lack of street-smarts or real world knowledge. While she is not entirely ignorant she is a little less experienced in dealing with many facets of life out in the melting pot of the galaxy. She has an in-depth mental rolodex of practical information she gained from her parents, she simply struggles to apply a majority of this knowledge to life.

CHARISMA: 6/10 Being a happy, bright extrovert usually renders one as an easy maker of friends and charming to those one meets; despite having all these traits, Gris struggles. She can rely on her acceptable looks and pleasant demeanor for only so long before her youthful inconsideration of others and short-sightedness dim some of the shiny allure of her persona. Her high energy levels and chattiness can wear thin as it is consistent and it almost seems as if she rarely sits still for anything. These are not malicious traits but ones born of thoughtlessness, and it affects her interpersonal skills; especially with strangers.

SKILLS:

Weapon Proficient- Gris can use most any weapon she comes across. While she is not the best with blasters or projectiles, she very much shines with melee weapons; especially staves or spears. It also helps that; while Gris wasn’t the best shot, she can hold multiple blasters (of small size) at once, aiming for quantity over quality.

Unarmed Combat- Her physical advantage as well as years of training have forged a adept, powerful fighter out of Gris. She was trained in the basics of Teräs Käsi, focusing mostly on the mind-closing techniques; which became more crucial than the actual physical maneuvers of the fighting style in the minds of her parents (especially after the purge).

Piloting- Gris is capable of recognizing flight systems and knows how to pilot in the most rudimentary sense of the word. While she understands how to fly, in practice it is very different and she has been know to do some daring (and sometimes suicidal) flying.

Armor Maintenance- Her father was trained as a Mandalorian smithy and passed on the basic skills of care and maintenance to his daughter; who cherishes and cares for her inherited armor with great vigor (thought the armor itself is composite at best). She can fix minor tears and mend/supplement metal plating if given the time.

Speechcraft- While she is not particularly considerate, Gris can be very charming; behaving light-heartedly and flirtatiously with earnest. In-depth debates and arguments may stump her, but she can flatter and small-talk with the best of them as her manners are easy and unstudied.

GEAR:

Composite Mandalorian Armor- Gris’ armor is old, refitted and altered to fit her particular anatomy. Originally meant for a human, it was passed down through generations of her adopted parents families and shows in the obvious repairs done to it. It is the build of typical Mandalorian armor, the deviations to the design that are present are merely to accommodate Gris; her father (being a trained blacksmith) managed to cannibalize his and his wife’s armor in order to give their daughter as much protective beskar as they could.

Even with these sacrifices the armor is composed of only 15% of the rare metal. The rest is duraplast and other random metals used to merely fill out the mold. The beskar is concentrated mostly over her vitals and the shin and arm guards have precious little of it.

Beneath the armor is a armourweave flight suit that might have been brown at one point but has faded to a lackluster grey, though the sleeves for her secondary arms were added on and are brand new and black. The armor itself is coal gray with white and gold patterns painted onto it.

The suit is equipped with several systems to ensure usability and safety. This includes: Health Monitoring systems, automated medical injectors (painkillers ect ect) and biofoam. A battle computer to manage and coordinate all systems within the suit as well as an absorbent gel layer between the plating to absorb minor shocks, regulate temperature and provide atmospheric locks.

It has a rebreather system for atmos conditions, as well as magnetic soles for the purpose of clinging to the metal surfaces of buildings or the hulls of ships.

Composite Mandalorian Helmet: The majority of the beskar that Gris father used went into remaking this helmet for her. As a child, she had always worn her parents helmets for fun and was most enthusiastic about having her own one day. Her father worked tirelessly over the course of many years to make her a custom helmet that not only showed her Mandalorian heritage; but the wolfish visage of the wild, determined child he had first met on Montu Codru.

Despite its beginning as a cannibalized amalgamation of two other mandalorian helmets, it is durable and fitted with all the systems and abilities of the previous helmets that made it. This includes: Target tracking and Range finder systems with optical zoom (range is 50 meters). Infrared view options. Secure long-range communications and holonet up-link.

It also has a heads-up display for her vitals and air filtration systems. GPS with birds-eye-view display and motion sensors (20 meter range)



MC-93 PDWS- A .13 meter long, 1.05 kilo slugthrower. A reliable side-arm that was Gris first major purchase, it is bare bones with no aftermarket features and is capable of firing x8 12.7x40mm Rounds. With well placed shots and proper ammunition it can punch through medium armor and shred unarmored targets.

Broken Electrostaff- A hearty, but broken long staff with a duranium composition. The electromagnetic generators have long since been removed and it was little more than a curio for a store owner to brag about. Until Gris decided she liked the heavy, reliable weight and make of the weapon and bought it.

Taskmaster Carbine MKII- A semi-automatic assault weapon used to counter heavy armor that she inherited from her adopted mother, Joah. With a effective range of 100 meters and the capacity of 20 rounds, even with Gris’ poor aim this weapon is a force to be reckoned with.


SHIP:



The Herald (or just Carl) is an hand-me-down XS stock light freighter. Old and well-used; this freighter is approximately 88 meters long, 101 meteres wide and 27 meters tall.with all the creature comforts one might need for extended stays out in space and aboard ones ship. Carl is equipped with a hyperdrive and shielding; at it’s most basic function it is an amazingly fast getaway house. The armaments are slim, only having two Soniver laser cannons (which could be fired from the cockpit) and 2 missile batteries. This vessel was not meant for extended firefights and has never been used for such a purpose.

It has four individual bedrooms as well as a recreation room and kitchen.

PETS:

A nasty, mean-spirited kowakian monkey-lizard who would sooner poison your drink then look at you. Despite this, he seems oddly affectionate with Gris-Gris and though he won’t risk his life for hers, treats her as kindly as a scumbag like himself can. He is of a subspecies whose tails are prehensile. Gris saved his life, finding him being used as bait against much larger creatures at some slum bar on a planet neither Gris nor Pik care to remember the name of.

PERSONALITY:

Wild and carefree, Gris is a happy girl and it shows in everything she does and how she treats others. Flirtatious to a fault, she openly compliments and flatters anyone and everyone simply because she enjoys the pleasure they take in such ego-boosting things. She has a zest for life and cannot get enough of new things/people/places.

While, no one can say she is mean-spirited; Gris can be a bit impish and likes to pay the wrongdoings of others (within reason) in kind with pranks that can last for weeks if she does not feel satisfied with the initial results. This mischievous tendency can be called spiteful, but it is rarely malicious and often times is followed with a heart-felt; albeit amused, apology.

Gris can seem a bit frivolous to the outside observer, as she often time hops from one curiosity to the next; and finds very little pleasure in matters that might seem important to others. There is no real ground for this observation, though she does little to sway the opinions of those who see her as nothing but a silly girl who wishes to party and sightsee.

She is confident in herself and does not believe she should worry herself over the opinions of others when often times she doubts these opinions will ever affect her. This confidence is displayed mostly in the easiness in which she speaks to people from all walks of life; friendly and open until wrong is done to her, she loves to listen and absorb any knowledge from those willing to indulge her.

She readily calls anyone friend, but this has proven treacherous and painful for the young Codru-Ji in the past as betrayal hits Gris particularly hard and she can grow despondent and heart-broken for long periods of time. Even after the initial phase of depression has passed, Gris will reference it to others and readily shares how affected she was by the traumatizing experience. It is easy for those she cares about to manipulate her emotionally, and she is prone to forgiveness if the other party initiates the contact.

BIOGRAPHY:

Gris-Gris Bodagris was the first and only daughter of an influential Codru-ji family on their homeworld, Montu Codru. Her family consisted of many older members, ranging from ages 40-80; but not any children. Because of this she was the sole heir to their properties and influence and was the perfect target for the time honored Codru-Ji tradition of kidnapping a rival families children as leverage.

During the twilight of her seventh year; when she was most vulnerable and soon to begin the month long change from a wyrwulf to an adult; a plot was executed against her family. The Elders of her family were brutalized and murdered and she was stolen from her aging parents by the Okar-Nim. A younger, rival family.

She was kept well hidden within the Okar-Nim family territory and though her breeding and family history allowed her some dignities she was chained within a small room and only given the basic necessities. No real kindness was paid her, and she grew despondent from the lack of company; for she had always been a friendly and loving pup.

The Bodagris family, outraged and shamed by their massacre and kidnapped heir; pooled their resources and sought out the best assassin they could find outside of their own race (as one could not rely on the political standing of a Codru-ji assassin). Eventually the Family contacted a relatively well-known mercenary by the name of Huk Mos.

Huk Mos was a Mandalorian who took jobs only rarely and if they paid well, for he had placed himself and his wife in isolation for many years prior to the Purge out in the Outer Rim. The reason being that his wife, Joah Kree (also a mandalorian) had suffered a debilitating injury that afflicted her with violent tremors and seizures. Rendering her useless as a warrior and causing her much suffering and shame.

Huk supported them entirely and took the well paying job without hesitation. He snuck into the Okar-Nim branch family manor after weeks of subtle investigation, finding the young Gris had already undergone her cocooning phase in isolation.

Huk took pity on the chained youth; impressed with her bold spirit, and saddened by how eager she was to shower him with affection merely for removing the collar she’d been adorned with. Huk grew bitter over the idea that such a sweet child would remain a target and source of shame and scrutiny while she remained on Montu Codru. It reminded him terribly of his wife and the notion alone; supplemented by how little Gris felt for the family she’d been stolen from, made up his mind.

Using thermal explosives, Huk detonated the bombs and destroyed the Okar-Nim manor, reporting Gris as dead to her family. He accepted the financial loss and smuggled Gris-Gris off of Montu Codru as fast as was humanly possible.

Huk presented his wife with Gris and explained the situation as well as his desire that they should adopt her. Joah agreed happily, as the injuries that had taken her life as a warrior also removed her ability to bear children. Gris was grateful and enthralled with her new family, and took no time to integrate herself into their lifestyle.

As she was of the age to begin her preparation and training for the Verd’goten, Huk and Joah began her training in the less physical aspects of being Mando’ade for the first year. It was not until she was nine that Huk began training her in combat, while Joah continued to teach the child about the more cerebral aspects of life.

At fourteen, Gris underwent her Verd’goten. Huk took her to Jankok, to hunt for a week amongst the rainforests. Her mandate was to track and kill a beast of considerable size and ferocity while avoiding the indigenous sentient-species; the Srrors’tok, at all costs.

Huk waited in the distant jungle from where Gris had been dropped for eight days before he received a signal from her and found her protecting the body of her kill from a pack of carnivorous sapiens. Pleased with her success, Huk took her home to Joah where they celebrated her passing into adulthood with drink and the presentation of her Armor and Helmet.

Overjoyed and emboldened by her success and new status as a Mando’ade; Gris wished desperately to go out into the Galaxy and experience life as the woman she believed herself to be. But Huk and Joah convinced the youth to stay with them in isolation; the Galaxy was no place for the Mandalorians anymore and her parents coveted their child’s life possessively.

Convincing Gris to remain with them until she was twenty was an easy feat as the family was close and only shared love and respect for each other. Gris’ admiration and love for her parents rooted her down, her emotions easy to manipulate for the two older Mandalorians.

Huk was the first to let go. Realizing that; while keeping her with them on their Outer Rim Homestead kept her safe, it wasn’t much of a life for someone so young and ready. Huk convinced Joah that it was time and they gifted Gris with The Herlad on her twenty-first birthday. Giving her their blessing and sending her off with the orders that she had to check in with them weekly and to conceal her heritage.

This was easy, for Gris knew no one else but them and so every new tidbit of knowledge or experience was sent their way almost immediately. Eventually, Gris found herself in some less than reputable places where she met Pik, who she rescued from being used as bait for entertainment.

Currently, she is unaffiliated and a thrill seeker. Traveling wherever she pleases and avoiding trouble as best she can. She takes low-risk odd jobs to supplement her meager income, but has no true agenda other than one of sheer selfish whimsy.
