A shift in the Force was felt across the galaxy. Some may recognize it, especially those of the Jedi Order. It was the life of a major entity of the Jedi Order whose life was lost. Haar is dead.

A Jedi shuttle made its way to the Jedi temple on Ossus. It was the one that Haar frequently piloted, but he was not alive to bring the ship back home. That was the work of another being.

After landing the ship in the hangar and lowering its loading ramp, Taecelle stepped out, pushing a repulsorlift stretcher before her. Laying upon it, partially draped in a beige blanket, was Haar. His green hair was slightly singed from battle, but its telltale green tint was recognizable anywhere. Beside him were the two lightsabers he possessed, recovered from the scene of his death.

Taecelle's expression was solemn, greatly pained by the death of her last and most successful student. Her white robes were dirtied and ragged from uncleanliness, as though she never visited a laundromat in years. She didn't care that she abandoned the Order over twenty years ago, or whether the Jedi would allow her to remain on planet. Haar was more important to her.

Siri Firestorm, Haar's last apprentice, had sensed her Master's death in the Force. She too was on Ossus for lightsaber training and, upon seeing her master's ship come in, rushed out to the landing pad to see her master being carried in a repulsorlift stretcher by a woman who looked like she had been crying. At first Siri couldn't believe what she was seeing. Could this really be her Master? The man who had taught her the ways of the Jedi? Who had taught her to use a lightsaber? Or who had once sent her to make friends with the gokobs in the forests of Ossus to learn patience? No. It just couldn't be true.

However, seeing the look on the woman's face and the face of the man who lay draped in the cloth, it was undeniable. Siri felt tears well up in her eyes. She knew a Jedi was suppose to remain calm and at peace, but this man was like a father figure to her; the closest thing to a father she had ever had. Hot tears stung her cheeks as she mourned the loss of her master. She moved to the side of the path to allow the woman to push his body closer to the temple. One question resounded in her head as she sobbed. Who could've done this..?

Huang was first to meet the repulsorlift stretcher. For the first time in many years, Huang saw Haar in the flesh. Murdered. He had always felt kindred with the green-haired weapon master. Both saw the blade as the true art of the Jedi. For someone to have felled him in battle...

He fell into step with the woman pushing the stretcher.

''What happened to councillor Haar?''

He could pretend to feel remorse, loss, grief. But he had long ago built up the willpower to never show such weakness to others.

Having returned from a mission, Zolotoy had been stationed on Ossus until he could take a shuttle back to Tython. He felt the disturbance in the Force.
Did someone die? wondered Zolotoy.
Zolotoy eventually found out that the abnormality had been the death of Councilor Haar. He had only met the Jedi Master once, from a distance, but he still felt the grief by the loss of one of their leaders.
It was a tragic day.

''What happened to councillor Haar?''
For a few moments, Taecelle couldn't speak. What happened? Of course, he's dead. Her mind still couldn't wrap itself around that fact.

She looked at the Jedi weaponmaster, and a part of her was confused. How could he not feel anything for Haar's death? He was a comrade, a leader, a teacher. But through all this, she answered.

"Killed. By a dark Jedi," she finally said, continuing to push the stretcher deeper into the temple.

"A dark jedi?!" blurted Zolotoy. "Was it a Bogan?"
If memory served right, Haar had been present during the Battle of Ando Prime. Had the Bogan sought revenge against the Councilor for his part in the battle?
All Zolotoy knew was that this was grave news, both to the Order and to the Republic. If Bogan started killing Jedi Councilors, the strength of the Jedi Order would come into question. Doubts would arise. People would begin to lose faith in the Jedi.

He asked slowly, ignoring Anything the Weapomaster would say to him. OR tried.

Siri stopped her crying. She had heard the answer to her question. Haar had been killed by a Dark Jedi. A sigh of grief came from the back of her throat. No, from the deepest part of the her soul. Then a Jedi shouted at the other Jedi following Haar's corpse. Her first reaction was to lash out at him for being so inconsiderate, but her Jedi training told her to restrain herself and she quickly regained control over herself.

"I don't know about Nuka." she replied to the Jedi. ", but he was my teacher."

''A dark jedi? Any idea as to whether they were part of one of the splinter factions following the dark path that have grown recently?'' Huang's voice was emotionless, almost inflectionless as he enquired. To have been cut down in the battle was the best way for a Jedi such as Haar to go.

Unlike the weaker members of the order, Huang could keep control of his emotions. The loss of a valuable comrade was a dark thing indeed. But, to show that to all the padawan and knights now swarming the area would be a grave mis-step on the part of the Swordmaster. He continued to walk, face expressionless.

He almost tripped over the tiny form of... Padawan Nofo. As ever, he began yelling. Hardly proper decorum.

''Padawan, please, lower your voice. We must pay this death the respect it's due.'' Huang intoned as he continued walking, towering above the others.

Siri smiled briefly. She admired the control Master Huang was showing. She was even more grateful that he had shown her master so much respect in his death. She had never realized how many lives her master, Haar, had touched. She fell into line behind the woman and Master Huang. She felt, perhaps in the Force, that she was suppose to be here; to learn something from this. Another small smile crept onto her face. Even in death, you're still trying to teach me, Master...

Taecelle shook her head. "I do not know his affiliations or his objectives."

She paused upon saying that last bit. It was a lie: she realized. The woman felt ashamed in saying what she said. Placing the whole debacle over Haar's shoulders was wrong.

"No, this dark Jedi..." she began, but cut herself off. She couldn't bring herself to say the whole truth. Not now: she suspected the Jedi Council would want her to explain the details from the beginning. Then, she will speak.

Mofo Looked at the Master and right at point blink told him off."SHUT UP!!!"It was not angry or sadness, it was Mofo being ticked off at The Swordsmaster's calmness. He faced the Swordsmaster and yelled."You can't hide emotions, WE ARE BEINGS LIVING THINGS the hell with the Jedi Code, at this time. Of of our comrades Dies, and we stand there like some silly emotionless Puppets, You are a Disgrace."HE spoke calmly, his voice raising a Little, He came back to the Order to resume his training, not to deal with the Same Bullcrap, he had left for."If you died, Swordsmaster, Do you want us to remember you by who you are, and not care, because that's what your doing. We can only HIDE IT SO FREAKING LONG!"now he had raised his voice, higher feed up with the bullcrap.

A question began to arise in Siri's mind. This woman...who is she? Haar had never mentioned her, nor did she recognize the woman as a Jedi she knew. Looking down at her master's body, she felt an echo in the Force. This woman had been important to Haar and vice-versa. However curious she was, Siri could not bring herself to ask the question she wished. It wasn't the time. Now was the time to honor her master's brave death.

"Please calm down," Zolotoy advised Mofo. "Emotion is fine to show but you're the one going to far, not Huang. You're letting your grief for Haar into hatred towards Huang. Please control yourself."
Zolotoy knew that, as a Padawan, he had no right to speak this way, but he didn't want things to escalate.

Siri, being a Knight, felt the need to say something to young Mofu. She was as hurt as anyone was, after all, this man was a father figure to her, but she refused to allow Haar's death turn into a screaming match by another Jedi

"Please respect this situation, Padawan. My master died valiantly, defending the very thing the Jedi are meant to defend; his comrades and the Republic. We all feel loss over his death, perhaps none more than myself. Remember your training.... Death, yet the Force." she said, though she could hardly believe the words had come from her mouth.

As grieved as she was, she knew that Haar wouldn't have wanted her acting rash in the manner this Padawan was acting.

He sighed, and shook his head."You bloody Hypocritically, Little fog clouded Fools, you are trying to respect a Death without a Care in the World, Meaning without showing Motions, We are beings, WE ARE not other world Creatures from Hell or the Above, What kind of ****ing BULLCRAP is this!!"This was ticking him off. HE sighed and calmed himself down, Unlike other Padawans, He was trained to calm down and hide his emotions, so his used the training to calm himself down.

(Fog= In Mofo Meanings Means, your vision is Clouded.)

"That's enough, padawan."

The voice came from within the temple, though the speaker had yet to show. The voice lacked emotion, yet it was quite apparent exactly who it was. The aura she projected could be felt by everyone. However, Talzea's focus honed in on the woman pushing Haar's body into the temple.

Talzea had been on Alderaan when the ripple in the Force was felt. She had immediately dropped what she was doing, making arrangements to travel to Ossus immediately. Her deep connection to the Force had granted her heightened sight in regards to where she was needed. She was already in the temple before Haar was brought over to Ossus. Talzea had guessed the cause of such a staggering wave in the Force, though she could not decipher the details from feelings alone.

Her amethyst eyes glowed of their own accord, piercing to any that gazed upon them. She strode out from within the temple, patiently awaiting Huang and the woman that were walking towards her. Talzea looked at the woman, surveying her quietly. Her visage, like that of Huang's, lacked any immediate displays of emotion. The inside of her mind exploded with concern, and the sight of Haar's body caused an unhappy sigh to escape her. She approached the woman, having overhead the brief conversation between the two. Talzea pondered for a long moment, finding that the woman before her struck her as familiar. She had been a Jedi once. However, that was not her concern now. After what seemed like centuries, she finally spoke again.

"Please take some time to collect your thoughts. There is little we can accomplish while we are still in shock from this revelation. When you are ready, tell me everything. I want to know who was responsible and where you found him. I want to know why he went there in the first place."

She looked down at the ground, the first hint of emotion gracing her features.

"This saddens me greatly. We have lost someone very dear to us today. However, lingering on that will not bring him back. What we can do is focus on what caused this and to make sure it never happens again. There is time to grieve for Master Haar."

Talzea walked over, placing a hand on the woman's shoulder.

"Do you understand?"

Siri found herself nodding at what the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order had said;

We have lost someone very dear to us today. However, lingering on that will not bring him back. What we can do is focus on what caused this and to make sure it never happens again. There is time to grieve for Master Haar.

Siri looked up with deep respect at the Grandmaster and smiled, hoping that she would catch the gratitude in the young Jedi Knight's eyes, and then she continued to follow the procession as they neared the entrance of the Jedi Temple of Ossus.

Taecelle didn't recognize this woman, though her words made it clear that she was a very important person. Probably a member of the Jedi Council. Her irritation from the padawan's ranting faded thanks to the Jedi's intervention. The Jedi's touch was somewhat comforting, though Taecelle could only return a nod of acknowledgement.

Zolotoy was surprised to see the Grandmaster here. Last he heard, she was on Alderaan. Had she come, sensing Haar's death?
"Grandmaster, what shall we do with Haar's body?" asked Zolotoy politely. "I do not mean to be disrespectful, but the body will soon begin decomposition. It would be best if something with the body was done soon."
