I'm like 2 levels away from beating the game. I'm on where I got to drag that thingy with the Elephants.
Ah, I hated that mission.
Have you played it online, yet?

Not yet. I'd prolly get my ass kicked if I played online. All I'm good at is making a massive army, then just swarming the enemy with all the units.
I think that's all you can do. It got boring quickly for me.
Aye. If there was a way to say... grab all the Warthogs at once instead of everything, then it would be nice. I don't see how they coulden't have done that, seems easy for the Xbox controler...
Well, I just beat the game. Actualy had a decent ending unlike Halo 2 and 3's endings. Well, unless I missed something.
I found a way to send single units without having to mass them all in an unorganizaed mess.
1. Select all units with left bumper Or just local units with right bumper.
2. Use the right trigger to select which single units you want to use. You can get out of this with B button.
I figured that out after two minutes.
You send them somewhere but I am sure everyone will press the mass highlight button several times.
They've made it to simple. End war was not simple but easy to play.
Edit: Just realized what you meant Mulluns, will try it.
The game is too simple, it's stupid.
You can't realistically have single units do anything.
Very very underwhelmed by it.
It's awesome because it's simple.
Yeah! I just upgraded my Tech-level to the 7th one and unlocked an upgrade to my Marines to let them sprint for 2 seconds! Oh wait, the enemy is at Tech-level 6 and they need 30 more stone and 55 more credits to upgrade, so I can send in my anti-infantry troops and my anti-air troops, plus some anti-vehicle vehicles but some anti-infantry turrets to add onto them so they don't get swamped. I also need thirty more resource gatherers to keep my energy resource at max so that the MAC blast doesn't drain me of my reinforcements. Oh snap, one of my outposts is getting attacked so I need to spend 20 wood to vehicle transport a couple anti-vulture vehicles over there, and maybe drop a spartan squad in.
No. I create some anti-infantry and some catchall infantry, add a couple vultures and I have an unstoppable killing machine. I believe the upgrades cap at tech level 4 or 5.
At everyone else:
How good is the human scientist leader? I've only played as the other two humans (Because imo they're infinitely better than the Covenant), and so far I like the one you got in the demo best. Carpet bomb is nice, yes, but MAC blast is epic. Also, ODST is invaluable. :CHappy:
I usually use vultures, so what advantage does the super hornet give you besides splazers?
I'll stick to Star Craft, thanks. You know, where that kind of shit will get you killed. It's awesome because it's simple.

No, I'm saying swarming in with the best units with no strategy will get you killed. How can you kill me if i'm already dead? :CHappy:

Yeah... you see I was only playing Heroic, and in Heroic the NPC has a tendency to spam infantry. :CHappy: Online it would be much different.
@Ryan: Try driving a warthog into the enemy base on Legendary and spamming ODST. If they fend off your assault, they'll adapt quicker than you can say "I drink your milkshake!"!
