Danny balled himself on the floor, with both of his hands covering his testicles. He rolled in pain.

"Bitch! AAAaaaahhhh!"

Danny rolled around in pain for another two minutes and started getting up after the pain started leaving.

"Fine, but I ride shotgun. Now I need a gun. Anyone have an extra firearm?"

((OOC: Kelly; don't autohit. And the corpses have already been dumped outside.))

While down in the basement, the young officer began scouring the remains of numerous footlockers. There wasn't much left, weapon wise. Other then two 9mm's, and half a box of bullets, the entire basement was empty. The trucker, while upstairs, found a pair of binoculars and a couple of shotgun shells. Alphonze managed to find two flak jackets, two pairs of elbow pads, two pairs of knee pads, and a nightstick. The three men brought their collected items to the briefing room and placed them on the table.

The young officer overheard the prisoner speaking about 'guests'. Taking one of the 9mm's, the young officer took a look at the three approaching zombies. Luckily, both must have suffered terrible trauma to their legs as their were extremely slow. Taking his time, the young officer shot carefully aimed shots at the three zombies. Unfortunatly, his aim was slightly off and he ended up using an entire clip on all three.

"Here..."

The trucker tossed the prisoner the nightstick.

"Until you prove you are on our side, your grounded to melee."

Danny took the nightstick and began to practice using it on a stand up coat rack.

"Thanks. My lock-up (chop shop) is a couple of blocks away. I doubt it has been searched since when I was arrested the police roped it off and sealed the doors. I know a way in underground. We can fix up the vehicles in there, and I have "plenty" of supplies."

"Right now, you need to help with gathering food with the others. Now get a move on!"

The young officer scoulded, taking one of the binoculars and heading to the roof.

Danny looked outside at the car they were fixing to be using. Another two zombies were already near it, although they seemed to be occupied with Gerald's corpse.

"I ain't waltzing out there waiting for Barbie here. Come on, honey, let's move."

West held the new gun in his hand and handed it to Gordon, "You may not be a good shot but I'm no better if I try to use two guns at once. Alright, you three follow us. As far as I'm concerned Gordon and me are in charge so you will be sitting in the back while I ride shotgun with my pistol. Of course, Gordon will be providing driving expertise and navigation. While we are in there you boys can keep on the look out for anything that might be helpful. As soon as you see something helpful yell... how 'bout 'stop'? We'll of course stop and check if it is valuable. If we think it isn't don't feel bad. But if you are stopping us for a bottle of tooth paste I will have to hit one of you. Lead the way, Gordon"

West calmly inserted the magazine again and kept the pistol in his right hand while he moved the hockey stick to his left.[/b]

"Well, if ya insist."

Gordon took the pistol and tucked it into his belt, he once everynow and then stopped at the small Area 51 Arcade video game shooter at the bar when he was bored, but he thought there may be a big diffrence then aiming a plastic gun and aiming a heavier, metal real pistol. After hearing West's little speach, he took his keys and the group out towards his truck, unlocking both doors for him and West to get in. As he started it up, he thought back to the map he looked at, and from what he gathered, the Gun Shop shouldent be too far, just about several miles from there location. He just hoped there was still some left... and that there wasent a crazy redneck hold up in it who would shoot anything that moved...

OOC: How I love that game. Well I assume we will get control of the NPCs?

West got into the passenger seat, neglecting his seatbelt though. He had always been a stifler on buckling up, but now wasn't really appropriate. Hell, one time he made his girlfriend wait until she decided to not be stubborn enough to put her belt on before he even put the keys in the ignition. Amy. How was she? This had been the first time a in a while that he had thought about her. They had been together for seven years and they managed to stay together despite his frequent absences due to military service. He hadn't seen her since this started. Rolling down his window he leaned out a little ways to get a clearer view. It would also be quicker for him to draw the 1911. It was strange that everyone else was finding 9mm ammo while he had happened upon this .45 cal. Now was not the time to delve on this however. To take his mind off the troubles at hand he turned back to the station.

"Hey, Fancy! Make sure you bring back some Oreos if you have enough room. I'm addicted to the things. Oh, and just because there is no stable authority don't take it upon yourself to enjoy alchoholic beverages! We need to keep our wits about us!"

"Hello Honey!"

Danny was now getting impatient. He went to the door and stood there like a doorman waiting for Fancy to leave and approach their vehicle.

"May we leave now, Your Highness?"

OOC: You don't need to bump it.

1. It is currently the most active Diverse RP.
2. It hasn't been that long since you posted!
3. Bumping is usually reserved for when a topic or thread has fallen significantly in place. The worst it can freakin' do right now is drop one place.

Gordon soon started the truck off, and soon drove off as the police station dissapeared in the distance. He wondered where that Cal fella went, wondering if he was still living in denial that the zombies are actualy crazy people... Dumb kid, if anyone thought a person with a bleeding stump for an arm or there chest cut open was a human, then... yeah...

In about a good ten minutes, which would be longer if the street signals were working or if they ran into Zombie resistence, which was very little, they arrived at the small gun shop. There was a boarded up window and several zombie corpses outside, as well as a great deal of empty gun shells. When he saw the coast was clear outside, he turned to West.

"Looks like someone was here. We better hurry before more decide to show up."

He said before getting out of the truck, closing his door. He had his monkey wrench with him, not wanting to use the gun unless he needed too or until they got some more ammo.

"Hmmmm... You three, stay in the truck. At the first sign of trouble I want you to yell for us. Now I would advise giving you the keys but I don't know if you are squemish enough to just pronounce us dead. So if we aren't back out or give an all clear sign I want you to come get the keys or walk back to the station."

West once again held the pistol in his right hand and held the hockey stick in his left. The stick's handle was placed straight against shoulder blade. It would give him less swinging range but he didn't need it here, plus he'd but more power at the base of his swipe.

West walked up to the door. It had a clear glass window that was broken and slightly bloody. There appeared to be a small design on the glass. "Taylor Fa..." was all he could read though. Placing the hockey stick in his armpit and freeing his hand he slowly began to open up the door. The first few inches were slow and quiet but after he cleared the fifth inche he shoved the door open and stepped inside.

Inside the gunshop indeed looked ransacked. In it's current condition with little lighting all West could see was some broken glass and a few small boxes of ammo carelessly thrown around. Some were open and empty or had some of their contents spawled on the floor or messed up in the box. West took a few uneasy steps into the shop. Setting the hockey stick at the door he headed towards what seemed to be a display stand in hopes of finding some more weapons.

OCC: Sorry but Oneofthelost and Kelly aren't posting.

Danny, growing impatient with the gypsy and Fancy then went to the one of the police offices. On a rack was the keys of the police cars located in the lot. He grabbed the one with the label saying "04".

He readied his nightstick and went outside, closing the door. He bashed two zombies down and found the police car with "04" located beneath the "To protect and serve" logo near the trunk.

Danny got inside and backed out and drove towards the store the cop told him to go to. He approached store and he saw it was a "Wal-Mart", his favorite store.

He crashed through the front doors and drove through the store to the grocery aisles. He backed the car to where the trunk faced the grocery section. There wasn't any zombies inside since he assumed the doors didn't work since the power was out, but no since they were gone, they would come. Danny positioned the spotlights located on the car to light up most of the grocery area. He could see some people must have taken food, but there was a lot left. All the frozen food has gone bad and the store reeked of its smell.

Danny took a shopping cart and loaded all kinds of food from cereal, cookies, pop-tarts, bottled water, soft drinks, powerade, snack cakes, bags of chips, raman noodles, and any other dry food, making a total of fifteen trips. The car was loaded from the trunk, back seat, and shotgun seat with food. He had killed four zombies during this process. He also made his way to the body care aisles and grabbed a bottle of hair grease and a comb and then drove out the store and back to the police station.

He then went back inside.

"Someone wanna give me a hand with all this?"

The trucker and the officer rushed to the car, taking as much as they could carry before dropping it on a table inside. In the time Danny had collected food, the three men managed to get one more kevlar, a couple of minor first aid kits, and handcuffs.

"Looks like we got a decent variety here..."

Gordon, looking at the fire arms for sale as well. They didnt have anything you'd see in the military, then again he never did know what they had in the back. Up front was mainly pistols, magnums, shotguns, rifles, and several diffrent kinds of knifes. Using his wrench, he shattered the display glass infront of him and West, clearing it away for them to grab any of the weapons in the display counter, which made Gordon think of another resource they would need: Ammo. If they couldent find any of that, then there would be no point in keeping any of the guns...

There were few of the weapons that were left after the initial invasion; in the display case were naught but a few magnums. The gun racks that held the rifles and shotguns were just about empty; save for a bolt-action .22 and a 12 gauge. Many bullet boxes were broken and strewn about. The few bullets and shells that remained were scattered across the floor.

However, a slight glint hit Captian West's eyes; if only for a moment. It seemed to come from a loose plank in the wall, purposely dangling because of the original owner.

Danny smiled at his own progress.

"Hold your thanks. I guess I proved myself useful."

Danny then started eating some food as he was very hungry.

West approached the the area where the glint came from slowly. Befor reaching it he turned to the door.

"Two of you! Get in here and start bringing stuff to the truck. One of you will have to get some of this ammo together. Gordon if you have a flashlight in the truck I suggest you get it in here. We can't afford to miss anything."

After his little display of command West continued his approach to the plank and began to move it aside with his left hand, holding his pistol at the ready. He was only able to move the plank slightly but the points where it was attached to the wall were weakened so he was able to tear it off the wall. He had to look away and shut his eyes however because a few pieces of wood shot out from the immediate break.

With the plank now removed, West came upon the glint; a large, steel box. The glint had come from a small lock on its' opening mechanism. It was now up to west to make a decision; use a bullet to break the lock, or discard the case.
