Yes. The size of is 1.98 MB and I don't know how to reduce it.

Well lets see, if you have windows and you are pulling the picture from online you can drag it to your desktop double click on it and you should have an option to edit and within that to resize it. Then just upload it from there and you should be good to go.

You don't need to upload pictures to the site. In fact, that's probably the least efficient way to do it.

Try using http://photobucket.com/ or http://imageshack.com/

I use Photobucket mostly and it works well. All you do is upload the pictures to your Photobucket or Imageshack account, which is free, and then it gives you links with the appropriate forum code to display them. If you don't want to do that, you can always just paste the url in the post, then put [ IMG ] insert link here [/ IMG ] minus the spaces.

When you do that, you get this:

All I did was put [ IMG ] http://i.imgur.com/AUDSZ.jpg [/ IMG ] without spaces. Hope that helps!
