OOC: The difference is... I'm not thinking, I know for a fact that your character should have at least lasted a couple more posts in a fight. If you really wanted your character to live that is. No one has the right to just say your character is dead. Get it reviewed by a mod if you want dude, because I have no doubt they'll see it in your favor. What he should have typed was that his character, in the midst of the close quarters struggle, TRIED to take a couple shots at your character's head. I mean, I'm not saying your character might not have died a little bit later on down the line, that depends on your skills as a roleplayer as well as his. But you definately could have made that go on for more posts then what it did. Anyways, your call not mine.

IC: Smiling, CK clapped his hands in aplause, "Good, the filtration concept is one that requires many years to master, and its not one that many pick up easily. But no matter, you have accomplished the tasks that I have wished of you for today in terms of force powers. Improving upon those abilities will be up to you in the days to come. And don't be afraid to ask for my assistance if you are trying to figure out a better way of using a force power or a method to make such a power stronger." CK paused for a bit, "But there is one last piece of training you must go through before we can go on missions together. And thats selecting and learning the Katas of a lightsaber Form."

Walking over to the Holoinstruction setup that was on the left wall, CK placed a special orb in a socket, one that they gave to knights who wished to train their Padawans in the basics of a saber form. Almost immediately, a holocron image flashed before them and it said, "Hello, I am the teaching assistant, ready to instruct in lightsaber basics."

CK nodded in Raasman's direction, "Feel free to access any of its data, take a tutorial of the saber styles and pick one for yourself. This program is used to get Padawans started down the path of a lightsaber Form through the many Katas it holds in its memory archives."

Raasman shuffled behind his master, watching the device light to life.

"I feel embarrassed, but I have very little experience using one of these...." Raasman said, scratching the back of his head awkwardly

OOC: Sorry for the short post, I was unsure of how the training would work out...

OOC: Well basically, I'm just glad we got as far as we did in the training, because sometime tomorrow my friend is posting that thread we'd been planning. This way, I can leave your character with a kind of "self training" holoprogram for a lightsaber form while I'm gone on the mission (that's unfortunately closed to other people), and your character can also spend the time to get better at the new basic skills he has just learned. As soon as my character comes back though, we can definately do like a Master/Pupil mission thread which should be pretty good for character relationship development. After that mission, if there's any specifc special powers you'd like your character to learn that you feel would suit his style, we could do another training thread for that. Then your character can either continue to do missions and develop a relationship alongside mine, or go on to become a knight. That's just what I was thinking, but its up to you.

Seeing his Padawan's hesitation and hearing his statement reassuring what CK had already thought, CK decided to explain how the program worked a little bit, "Well basically, its a holoprogram, but this one is specially made for Jedi. You can control and access all the program's information and archives for training in lightsaber forms through your mind alone. Or, if you prefer to do it manually, you can utilize the control consul over here," CK said pointing to the control panel where he had just placed the orb in. "After that, its pretty self explanatory. I see the potential for you to take the Ataru form to a higher level, but at the same time, I feel your personality as a very timid and reserved one. Based of that I would say it would be best for you to learn Soresu, after all, its easier to change the training of one's physical self then one's mental self."

Sitting down to meditate and take care of some training of his own, CK added a final comment he had left out, "Once you feel you're learned enough in the style, feel free to awaken me from my own training and sparr, otherwise I have my own skills to develop and improve upon." Just about to go into a meditative state, CK realized he had forget yet one more thing, "Oh, and my master is an expert at Forms III and II, so perhaps if she ever had the time, she could show you a thing or two."

EDIT: Looking at his comlink, CK saw that he was being called on for a mission. Unfortunately he had to go, but the good news was that his student would have some time to work on the basics and use the lightsaber training program to get familiar with his new weapon.
