Mockers, just back off now. I liked it on my PC, and now that I went up to Win 7, it refuses to work. I tried looking it up on the internet, but the only time its been asked about was on Yahoo Answers, and the guy didn't even get anything beyond a dumbass thinking he was making a funny joke.

I install the game, it launches the initial little launcher fine. After that, it just pretends I never did anything. Has anyone else had this error? I thought to ask since I'm back for a very short while.

And no, this is not TFU 2, this is the original one, the one with an actual place somewhere in canon.

there is supposedly a patch that went out for it I would look into if you haven't already. Beyond that I'm not too sure what really to say, as my tFU is 360, and my PC is still Vista, and a work based PC not a game one so * shrugs*

I wondered if one of the two patches would fix it, I just haven't really given it that much time as of recent. I figured it was worth asking. I'd rather have TFU on the PS3 I'm planning on getting, but at present I need to settle with what I already have.

Your computer is trying to warn you, save you from wasting your time. Sadly, it couldn't stop you from wasting your money.

Where did you buy it, from Steam or from a store?

This comment was not needed and inaccurate. Should have said: Both of these games are total shite. Waste of time and money both of them. Neither deserve a place in canon.

The first would have been better.

Okay, I actually enjoy playing the game. So stop restating your views that everyone has already heard. It's not the greatest, but I still enjoyed playing it. I got it from a store, not over Steam.

I repeat: Hunter, back the 'heck' off and let someone actually help me get this thing working. This is no grand-stand for you to blast off every opinion you have on the game. I asked for help, not BS.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, but you can try running it in compatibility mode and see if that fixes anything.

To do that, right click on the shortcut to TFU, and click on the compatibility tab at the top. Then click the check box saying "Run this program in compatibility mode for, and choose the previous operating system you used and if that doesn't work then try Windows XP Service Pack 3.

See if that works.
