I Don't Break the Law - I'm a geek that plays music

What instruments do you play?

I play bagpipes (Uilleann, I used to play Highland), penny whistle, paino (sort of), gutair (sort of), trumpet/baritone (used to play), and I try to sing.

As you can probably see, I play irish music.

Used to play guitar. I primarily sing though.

I think we had to learn to play the recorder in middle/elementary school.

Oh yeah I learned to play piano for a year..but that was my parents forcing me to learn so I don't count it.

I know how to play the recorder, the pan flute (lol) and i am currently learning violin.

I do mean to be an ass by this, but I know I can beast any of you in anything aside from piano. SIN is better at that.

Predominantly Celt folk related ones, and vocals but I've figured out the didgeridoo... Instruments are something I can pick up uber fast once I know the scales on it because I do things by ear, can't read a f'n note to save my life.

Yea right. The Uilleann pipes are extremely hard. You have to pump with your right arm, squeeze with your left arm, play the notes with your fingers, and hit the regulators with your forarm at the same time. You also have to keep in mind the air pressure, cords you are playing on the regulators, and all of the ornamentation with your fingers. ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!

Hardest instrument. Ever.
