Byron's feet carried him through the blastdoor. Past He thought to himself and kept going. The pit in his stomach, it felt like it was now right next to his heart, coiling around it. The impact of the spice and carts flying down the hall crashed into workers that had come from the refinery. But avoiding the chaos, the dark robed figure's hand raised. A jerking motion and Byron's broad shoulders were thrown into Drow's line of fire. The deck towards the spice refinery was hard and the heavy man had been moving fast. The Knight's eyes were shut before he hit the ground. Byron's unconscious body dropped into a loud tumbling fall just a few meters from the forgotten visage of Kravos.

"Kriff!" Drow howled as his stun blasts impacted Byron. But he was too good a shot to have done anything so clumsy - Byron had been Force Pushed to intercept those shots. Seems there had been a Sith in this mine this whole time. Welp, that was a complication that they certainly hadn't accounted for. Drow was a good saber combatant and wouldn't have hesitated to take this man on in a fight, even without Byron. In fact, he was about to do just that before the lives of the slaves were threatened.

He held his lightsaber and the blaster, sweat running down his brow as he listened intently to the words being spoken to him, fearing for the lives of the slaves around him. Would this mine really be so petty as to blow their entire workload just to spite him? If they did that, there'd be nothing stopping him from completing his rampage...

No.

Those thoughts were his old mercenary instincts talking. He'd spent too long freeing slaves in his time as a Jedi to even think of risking those around him. These lives, even the Sith's were precious.

"Nice moves,"
Drow conceded to the Sith who had so nimbly dodged Byron's attacks and forced the poor Human into Drow's stun blasts. "Any chance I could try appealing to your better nature?"

"I'll surrender. But I want your word, Mando, that when I do, none of the slaves will be harmed or punished."
Drow said, trusting the honor code of a Mandalorian over a Sith. He might think all life was precious but he wasn't stupid.

Emryc watched the first Jedi drop to the ground and the second Jedi begin to speak. The Sith hadn’t moved a muscle since the lazy shift to put the Jedi in the line of fire. He watched as the second Jedi asked a question, followed by attempting to address the Mandalorian in the control room.

“You are in no position to be making demands,” Emryc said curtly, cutting off the Jedi mid-speech, “And in case you weren’t listening, the fate of the slaves depend entirely on you,” He turned to look at the workers nearby and gave a light jut of his chin. The men quickly swarmed towards the Jedi, ensuring they were cuffed and led to holding cells. Emryc called the Jedi’s saber to his hand, twirling the hilt for a moment before clipping it on his belt. He would hand it over to the Mandalorian for his swift thinking. The first Jedi would also be searched, his saber components confiscated.

Emryc kept his gaze trained on the prisoners, drawing up a comlink to convey a message directly to someone at Preef’s location, “There was a situation at the Spice Mines, but it has been handled. Two Jedi are in custody to be handed over to Preef Callo,” Emryc said calmly, never breaking eye contact with the workers handling the two Jedi, “Tell Mr. Callo that I will be happy to trade them for one of his personal blasters with an autograph,” He spoke deadpan.

He put the comlink away and turned to glance at the worker he was engaging with before all this, “My shipments?”

The worker’s jaw had been hanging open the entire time and he quickly shuffled to look at Emryc, blubbering over his words before pulling up his datapad, “Uh-I-yes sir um your shipments will be ready to go as scheduled sir yes...”

It seemed the foolish plan from the Jedi had gone as well as Rynn had expected. He watched through the feed as the Slaves and the Security force collected the Jedi prisoners and began to march them away. "Put them in stasis and prepare a gift for the Council, they will enjoy this."

Rynn would step away from the control panel and would begin to make his way down the turbolift and onto the ground floor. Traffic along the channels indicated that the offsite reaction team had arrived and were working on securing the area. Things could have gotten messy if it hadn't been for their V.I.P. and their moves.

Something about this armored figure seemed different though, he wasn't a Jedi Sorcerer -- he was something entirely different. The Mandalorian would peer towards the man, offering a dip of his head. His armor seemed chipped and worn, as if it had seen various combat throughout its existence. The Mandalorian's Signet of a Chirodactyl was clearly visible, as well as the markings of Death Watch on his opposite pauldron. Though what would most likely catch the attention of the Sith was that of the horns that adorned the Mandalorian's family helmet. The helmet's markings were adorned in black in the typical Dathomiri tradition.

"Your spice, consider it payment for your deeds." The Young Mandalorian would motion towards the slaves to continue on with loading Emryc's shipment.

"It seems foolish to attack the Spice Mines in such a way, this had to be a diversion for something larger. Regardless, this facility is safe because of you -- I will put in my recommendation for the Slave population to be doubled, hopefully this will fix issues with our production output."

"Alright, alright I get the idea!" Drow huffed as he was led away and his saber confiscated. He'd let them cuff him but he made sure to bend down and gently scoop up Byron in his arms. He didn't want them dragging poor Byron around by his ankles and banging his head on the hallway.

"Sorry buddy. I might owe you a drink after all this" the Ishi Tib said softly to his fellow Jedi as they were led away.
