The star just pierced the horizon, rays shooting towards the deep eyes of a particular Togruta walking the Temple grounds. It was a slow pace she decided to take this morning, her bare feet padding lightly upon the grass, her tones gripping the earth at times. Through the trees, pillars of light radiated towards the Sage Halls as they herald the new day. A few whispy clouds high in the atmosphere crept by, but this would prove to be a mild, if not cool, day.

The female's light cyan robe fluttered in the wind, the cloth light. She walked without direction, only moving forward and not looking back. A metaphor if ever there was one, but Ashara didn't stop to consider it. Instead she kept her mind clear, simply following the streams of the Force as they willed her feet to movement.

Without warning or reason she stopped. Her right side was facing the sun with her eyes closed as she soaked up the energy, the warmth working counter to the rather cool breeze.

Fang walked around the temple grounds, just thinking, feeling the cool breeze on his face and flow through his hair. it was one of the few times Fang had his hood down. He felt the warm sun on his face, he took a deep breath, and opened his eyes. He noticed that he was not the only one roaming the grounds, He saw Master Ashara not too far away. Fang remembered something that he had wanted to ask her about, something he found curious when browsing through the archives. Fang approached the Sage Master.

Good morning Master Ashara Fang said with a slight bow.

"Indeed," she replied almost too quickly. There was a pause, but it still seemed as though she knew what the man was going to say. This was despite the fact she didn't turn her head nor open her eyes to look upon the human. "The weather is certainly fair thus far." Her voice was soft and warm, an alto - not quite as high as many other females. It was then that she turned to look at the individual with whom she was speaking.

His face was a mystery to the Togruta. She had no idea who he was. This was one of the things she hated about her position - so many Jedi seemed to know her, but she seemed to always be in the dark and ask after their names as though she were too important to know them. Few ever thought that, but it was just how it must have looked to outsiders.

In any event, it didn't do well to dwell upon such things. "I do not mean to be rude, but I do not believe we have met." A motion with her left hand indicated that he was to tell her his name.

"Lucien, ah. It is a pleasure." She stalled, catching herself. "I would introduce myself, but you already know me, it seems." A small smile found its way onto her face, her eyes squinting a touch; the indication of a genuine smile.

She pulled her light cloak closer to her body as a somewhat stronger breeze flowed by just to keep it from going too wild. "And what is it that I can do for you, Lucien?" She didn't really want to have to do this right now. Always she was pelted with questions regardless of where she walked. Unless she was clearly in a hurry, she was always queried. Well, even then, the occasional youngling, obvious to such things, would try and get something out of her. Not so long ago she adored doing such things. But now, now, with everything else, it was simply getting in the way.

This would never show, though. She had well enough control over her own features and demeanor to be pleasant. Furthermore it was hardly dawn. There was plenty of time before her duties would call her away.

And what is it that I can do for you, Lucien?" asked the master. she pulled her cloak closer as a strong breeze whipped by, Fang, seemed not to notice as his cloak whipped up to the side of him in the breeze.

Fang, if you would please, he replied, as he prefferred his last name over his first. Master, Recently I was going through some of the old history in the archives, and I stumbled upon a mentionings of a very rare technique created by Revan, I believe it was called, "Balance of the Force" but I could not find much beyond that, I was hoping that perhaps you could.... enlighten me said Fang, truly he was curious as to why a technique created by such a powerfull jedi was not more well documented. As the sun began to rise a little bit further in the sky, Fang turned his head towards it, his entire crescent shaped scar facing Ashara, before turning back to hear her response.

She nodded in understanding and confirmation of how he might address the Jedi from now on.

"'Balance of the Force'?" Her eyes cinched in curiosity, seemingly unaware of the phrase before now. Her gaze drifted as she wracked her mind for the information, sifting through the rather vast amounts of knowledge she possessed of such subjects.

It was her job, after all.

"A... physical manifestation of both the Light and Dark sides of the Force..." She was unsure how accurate the phrase was, but went with it regardless. "It is mere speculation and a fun story to tell to younglings as far as I am aware." Her head shook as she tried to piece together the bits of memory into a cohesive whole.

"Actual use of this ability would be similar to using the powers notated as Force Light and Force Destruction in unison." This was merely speculative and she was only thinking out loud. However, she realized that, while it was wholly unlikely, a young Jedi might be intrigued enough to try it.

Her face snapped towards Fang. "Such a thing would be impossible, however. Indeed, debates rage around whether or not Revan actually used it."

It was a curious question to be sure and she was weary as to his intentions with this knowledge. "Why do you ask?" Her eyes scanned him once over, trying to gather any indication as to his unspoken thoughts.
