So in one of my recent threads my Jedi Emerald was wounded very badly, corrosive chemical burns across the left side of her face, her left body including her arm, side of the stomach and her upper thigh, as well as all down her neck and back. Due to the attack that left such wounds, she was rather preoccupied with screaming and thrashing to be able to properly defend herself against a bit of sith lightning. Her upper chest and right shoulder were charred and much of the skin and nerves are damaged beyond repair.

So, rather then just say she took a leave of absence to heal up for a few months under the care of some unknown Jedi healer miracle woman, I was hoping to find someone interested in RPing my Jedi's recovery process. There would most likely be a few small time jumps within the thread, as even with Jedi healing techniques I'd imagine it'd still take a few months to properly heal from everything. It'd be a different kind of thread then normal and potentially let Emerald make a new friend among the Jedi.

If your a healer and interested, great, if no one is interested I'll just go the normal route and say Emerald was healed at some point.

@Darasuum I'd prefer a Jedi, Emerald isn't comfortable around Mandos in all honesty, and would feel more like a prisoner in an actual hospital. Though with her injuries she could probably use a mix of space magic and actual medical treatment.

@GABA-wan Kenobi Maja sounds perfect, there is a good chance Emerald would even have heard of her exploits in the outer rim, as Emerald too spends more time in that region of space then at the Jedi temples. Where would prefer to start? Dantooine or perhaps Jedha? Also, did you want to start the thread with Emerald's arrival to the healing hall, or part way into her recovery?

@GABA-wan Kenobi @Undine

I know healing can be a taxing process, especially for wounds like that, so if you guys wanted a third to tag along in a healing thread Adan would be a decent fit. He dedicated a lot of his early training in the order to that art, and has employed it during his time as a Jedi Knight. If Maja thought she needed a back-up, or on-hand force-nurse? xD Adan would be willing!

@Beta12 I'm not opposed, Adan seems like a decent person, though Emerald is likely to feel guilty distracting him from other pursuits. Emerald tends to take more of a motherly role towards younger Jedi knights so it'll be interesting to see her be taken care of by two younger Jedi, though Maja is closer to Emerald's age. Still, humans tend to look younger to Emerald then they actually are.

I do want to make mention of something I forget to mention as of yet, Emerald isn't gonna be in a good place, not just physically but emotionally. Anyone who's gone through an actual healing process would know that it takes it's toll on you. Depression, resentment towards your caretaker/healer, and semi-frequent panic attacks are in Emerald's near future.

Actually...she's on Mandalore atm...so that's just a thought there...

Dantooine would probably be best, since its closer >>

It seems you have enough healers on the injury side. I'd like to volunteer Cecil for the psychological aspect. He's been through some tough patches (including that time where everyone he knew starting dying like flies). He could possibly help your character in thay aspect.

However if you do want another healer for the injuries, Cecil has dabbled in that before as well.

I'd be down for some therapy stuff, though it might be easier if it were a different thread, just to keep things from getting confusing.

That's what I'm going for. Otherwise the actual recovering will never be complete XD
