Independent Training Question

So I've been trying to find a Jedi master for my Padawan that can teach him vaiko for some time now, and no one has even replied to any of my threads in the training section about it. No big deal, I know vaiko isn't a common lightsaber form and finding a master that knows it is kinda hard. The fact that I can't get a master isn't my problem. I know how to do independent training and participate in classes to help get my Padawan promoted as well, my trouble is I really want my character to learn vaiko and I honestly don't know how to teach it to him independently. Getting him mission experience and basic force powers without a master is easy, all I have to do is participate in classes. But getting him to learn a lightsaber form on his own seems unlikely. There are no classes that teach vaiko, or even it's basic form (niman). I could role play him reading hundreds of holo crons about vaiko and the principles of it or whatever but no matter what I do I don't see how I can teach it to him without a master. It's like martial arts... Or any sport for that matter. I can read about it for hours on end but I won't be able to execute it efficiently without a teacher. I mean I could just say OOC that he already is proficient in vaiko but that's no fun at all. I want him to master it over time as I tell his trials and hardships through out my posts as his story unfolds, not just giving him mastery in vaiko and saying he already knows it on his profile.

So I'm just wondering your ideas or suggestions on how I can go about teaching my Padawan vaiko on his own. Thanks for your help!

What if your Padawan happens upon an old holocron that has teachings about that stuff? You wouldn't be able to master any lightsaber form using this method, but it's a start. If you decide to do that, you will want to contact GABA, the Jedi FL, of course. I don't think it's against the rules as long as your character isn't mastering a lightsaber form all of a sudden just because they found an old holocron.

I had an idea just like that but i was wondering what I could do after that. The way I'm making this character requires him to learn this form because he wants to become a deadly saberist and he found an interest in this form so I would really like him to master it as he works towards his knighthood. I just don't know how to go about it.
