While I agree, what's the point in a thread without a story? If it's just a "hey everyone we were thinking about hitting this prison but decided against it" it wasn't worth the effort setting it up.

I like this idea, after all your capture/death is not guaranteed, there is still a possibility of escape+taking down as many Imperials while you run, though someone might end up dead.

I am ambivalent regarding this. While it sounds quite interesting, and has the potential to be awesome, SO gonna die. I'll leave it to a group decision. If we say decide to crash, I've some ideas for the crash (which are possible) to kick around.

I think death in such a low-level thread is a disgrace to any character that anyone has put more than two hours' time into developing. It simply shouldn't happen. This is a Star Wars roleplay, i.e., it simply doesn't need to be the most realistically thought-out plotline in all of RP History (that a thing?). C'mon. Let's go in, blow stuff up, curse, scream, love (yes, definitely should do some lovin'), laugh, and ride off into the sunset.

If they do something foolish, do something dangerous, or get into a fight, there's the risk of death. Not everyone can die an epic last stand killing off dozens of enemies before dying. Sometimes people, even developed characters, die in small tasks. And that is decent for storytelling. This is the rebellion. To quote It's a Trap! "Lady, all we rebels do is die to achieve things." Rebels in the Original Trilogy era died all the time, even for small operations. If your rebels die, they die.

I'm not paying attention to the OOC portion of this thread, because I was asked to play the Imperials on a high-security prison facility that put people here so they could be forgotten about. That's what I'm doing.

The Imperials are going to react according to how the Rebel Scum move. Rebel Scum.

It was never meant to be a high-security prison, though.
It was supposed to be a small prison.

A small prison facility, built onto one of the sparse rocky islands of Bestine IV, has been identified as a holding facility for Rebel sympathizers. These people are supportive of our cause, and with the reputation as being home to historic Rebel heroes such as Jek Porkins and Zev Senesca, we could definitely use more men to aid in our struggle. Infiltrate the base, and free the prisoners in any way you see fit, and exfiltrate them off the planet. Do keep in mind that Bestine is a border-world, and as such the Empire does maintain a garrison, so going in guns-blazing may not be the best idea.

But anyway, have fun with it nonetheless, kids!

Small and High-Security aren't necessarily contradictions! I do envision a small facility, with 5 Pads (Pad 5 being north-east, and Pad 1 being north-west) in an octagon-style construction. Considering it's holding rebel sympathizers, IE supporters of the Galactic Alliance which were at one point, the greatest threat to the Sith Empire, it makes sense to have defenses like this!

Considering the location and current economic status of the Sith Empire as well, it made sense to have such a prison facility equipped with state of the art tech and well supplied with fighting men and women. Things are semi-quiet right now so those storm troopers don't have too much else to do!

No one's really questioning your logic, Bunny, just the level of hate that you apparently have for us. You are either far more crafty than you let on, have outside help, or are just a walking coincidence.
