Kryte noticed Bishop noticing the man in the robe with the armor underneath, and he noticed the man who was talking on his comlink who wasn't trying at all not to be noticed. Kryte then noticed that although the boy wore the robes of the Jedi, he was not one of them, and carried not a lightsaber.
"This seems to be a... busy hotel." Kryte started. "Let's go to that room of yours but... we should at least keep an eye on the happenings down here."

If I'm going to be working with this guy, Bishop, I better start noticing things that are useful... Holy shit is he armed, ha not a surprise though. Kryte said, looking around the room, And that kid... wants to be a Jedi I would imagine, why else wear the robes and practice with a vibrosword if you're not a hopeful? And the man on the comlink... He must be well situated, or else he would be scared of reporting the bad news to his boss. Hmm... people with that sort of attitude towards their inferiors usually expect their superiors to treat them the same way... he thought, wondering if any of that information would even come in handy.

"Let's go."

Bishop hold up his right hand and said: "Wait a minute."

He then pointed over to the suit with the comlink in a way the man would not notice it.
"Potential job." Bishop said quickly.

As a mercenary, he was always looking out for jobs, and he had learnt to listen to people around him, to watch his surroundings.

"We could ask him what is wrong instead. Why don't you go over to him and check things out. I'll wait here for you and watch your back, in case anything goes wrong." He kept his voice down a little and spoke fast.

"Right, of course. If he's frustrated that someone's not doing something right, especially if its multiple someones, that means he might need replacements." Kryte said to himself.

Kryte walked over towards the frustrated man slowly, delicately.

"Excuse me sir, I believe you have men that were to be here, but are now... incapacitated? Me and my friend, are, unlike your men, here and perfectly capable. To cut to the chase, we're looking for work, and your help has not arrived. I would wish to offer ourselves as replacements."

While Kryte said this he sensed the relief in the man he was talking to.

This looks good bishop... Kryte thought.

"Huh, what?"

The man turned towards this stranger who started talking, and then hearing what he had to offer him. After his proposal, the man smiled as grasped his hands together.

"And here I was about to go tell my boss. Frankly, I'm out of options and you and your friend are hired. But I need this job done before tomorrow afternoon, not after."

Looking around, he noticed that not too many others were listening in besides one other, who he assumed was this man's friend.

"Someone stole some precious property from Gorrbag the Hutt. He wants them dead and his property back in it's rightful place. Do this, and you will be well paid and be on Gorrbag's good side. Intrested?"

Happy with the way things were going, Kryte began to exude confidence.

"Yes, very. First we need to know a few details: who are the targets, what are we stealing back, and where may they both being found. Ohh, and how much we'll be paid. You can tell me now, or we can go up to my associate's room to talk in private."

Kryte turned around and smiled at Bishop.

"If it makes you more comfortable, we can discuss the details in a more private location. Though, I doubt even the Jedi would want to interfere with Gorrbag the Hutt's business."

"Alright then, we'll talk here.
What's the job?"

Kryte was too excited, too eager, and afraid that it showed.
And it did. But only a bit.

Bishop listened closely and frowned when he heard the name Gorrbag the Hutt. Probably Kryte didn't know who Gorrbag was and Kryte also, probably, didn't know he was about to enter dangerous business. Bishop could handle it though, he only doubted if Kryte could.

He then looked around the area. The robed man with the armor bothered him somehow.

Kryte was too excited, too eager, and afraid that it showed.
And it did. But only a bit.

"It's a group of thieves, dangerous ones who wouldn't hesitate to kill their own allies if it meant they get a bigger slice of the prize. A Umbaran by the name of Murdok leads them, and it is he who Gorrbag wants dead. Bring his left arm back, it has a tattoo on it to show it is him."

"My Master wishes to keep the contents of his merchandise a secret, but they will not bring any harm to either of you or others if you are worried about that. They should be in a Hangar next to an old Cantina here on Coruscant, I forgot the name of it. One of my men did manage to get the coordinates to it's location though. Here."

The unnamed man then slipped a piece of paper with planetary coordinates to the location of the thieves hangout to Kryte.

"Do this, and Gorrbag will see that you are paid well. Does... 5,000 Credits to each of you sound good?"

Hmm... I'm sure that this Gorrbag would pay more for this to be done, he's desperate, his men didn't show. But at the same time, I'm sure the agent I'm talking to realizes that Bishop and I are desperate for work... Kryte thought to himself.

"Paper, huh? Old fashioned, but makes sense, nobody but the guy holding it can see whats on it. Cool." Kryte said, taking the slip, palpably cooler than he had been just a few moment's earlier."Yeah, we'll take the job."

Kryte took his leave of this Gorrbag's manservant and walked over to Bishop.

"It's work. He'll pay us 5k each to go to these coordinates, steal back some... 'merchandise' from a hangar, and kill an Umbaran named Murdok. And we have to bring him back Murdok's arm. Sound good?"

"You already agreed?" Bishop was kind of suprised. "Next time, discuss it with your partner before agreeing. Also, did the man tell you how many enemies we might encounter and what about this umbaran? I never heard of him before. He could be dangerous. It's not that you'll need to know all the details about a mission, but some things might be useful to know. Keep that in mind."

He stood up from his chair. "Do you have enough weapons and supplies for this mission?"

"Well, it wouldn't be too late to say no." There was a brief pause as Kryte gathered his thoughts, and poised himself as confident.
"Besides, the pay is good for an on-planet mission, and I don't think it will be too much trouble. The guy I talked to wasn't worried at all, and Umbarans are generally frail. Good at politics, but nonetheless, not so hot in a fight.
Thanks though, next time I'll be sure to talk to my partner first, and ask for more info. And the guy was so desperate... If I didn't say yes right there, he'd have probably walked out on us. But still, Sorry."

Kryte checked his belt, and tilted his head for a second.

"I have a slugthrower at least, just a pistol though. How much armaments do you think I'll need?"

"I was thinking about two blaster rifles. One for you, one for me. I myself have two blaster pistols, as you might have noticed. Maybe some medical stuff as well in case one of us gets hurt."

He crossed his arms and looked over to the man who just gave them the job. "I'm ready when you are." he said. The young zeltron and he could make a good team and Kryte would learn from this. It sounded like a tough mission, but it didn't matter. If Kryte wanted to become a mercenary, he had to learn from experience.

"Right, We can pick up a couple of rifles on the way. I have some basic medical supplies, so as long as we don't need anything fancy we should be good. I know the concierge here, I'll go talk to him about those rifles.
I know, a hotel concierge right? You'd be surprised..."

Kryte walked over to the concierge desk quickly, and struck up a conversation with the Corellian man behind it.

"Hey. We need a couple of rifles. Blasters not slugthrowers."
The man behind the counter slid Kryte a datapad.
"Here, these are the most popular sellers in town, I'm sure any of them have what you want," said the Corellian. After a few moments spent looking through the list, Kryte looked up.
"No, not this crap. Look, we actually want to use the guns were buying, we aren't going to the range for some target practice okay? Give me the list you don't show to the tourists."
The man behind the desk chuckled, "You're getting a real job now ehh? Best of luck to ya." He wrote down a few names and locations on a peice of paper and handed it to Kryte. "They'll have what you want."

"Thanks."

Kryte walked back over to Bishop, through the lobby.

"Ready?"

"As ready as I always am. Let's go, Kryte."

Before leaving the building Bishop shot one more quick glance over to the jedi-like guy in the lobby. He still didn't know what the goal of the guy was, but he and Kryte had to move on. There was no time to waste and they had a job to get done.

"So, we get the guns, make some noise, grab some merchandise stuff or whatever it might be, get the reward, chill out with a good beer in one of the cantinas."

OOC: BTW, who's going to RP the enemies and Murdok?

OOC: You could? or I could, either way. I could see us splitting up and one of us going to the warehouse and the other one going after the mark, and we could each RP our own enemies? or each other's enemies.

IC:"Right, let's go."
Kryte said, as he and Bishop were walking out of the hotel.
"Now, I've heard of this guy here, Garen. People seem to say that he's got the best mods, and the cheapest standard blasters. He's near by too. He's got a speeder bike dealership as a front, we can just go right through to the back."

Kryte and Bishop hurried into the street, and a few more sideways, a couple alleys, and a main thoroughfare later, were in the speeder store. Kryte turned to Bishop and talked quietly.

"If it's okay with you, I'll go in alone. Listen closely, if things start to sound ugly, come in after me. I doubt they will though. What's our price range? Want anything special?"

OOC:Also, is it okay that I did that? Or should I have waited for you to respond before going to the store?

Zur-Kor sneaked another glance over the edge of the Speeder, looking down on the two men who had just walked out of the Hotel. The description was a fit and even at this range he could see the reddish hue of the Zeltron's skin.

Word traveled fast and it was pure luck Zur-Kor had been in the neighborhood when his current employer contacted him. His employer, an Umbaran named Murdok, had ordered him to eliminate two suspicious mercs who had taken a job that didn't sit well with Murdok.
Zur-Kor didn't bother asking how he had found this out, the Umbaran had many contacts and officials within his pocket, including a certain Correllian at the concierge desk.

The Speeder he was in was hovering 50 meters from the ground, slightly down the street and off to one side of the hotel entrance. Lying down so as for the Speeder to appear empty Zur-Kor loaded up his assortment of weapons. He was still distracted however from his current predicament and slipped up a few times. Cursing himself for his lack of focus he shut out those thoughts and turned to the job at hand. 'It was that lack of Focus that got you stuck in this mess in the first place'.he thought to himself referring to his current predicament of falling in debt to Murdok.

Looking over the rim of speeder he was just in time to see the figures hurry off in the opposite direction. Cursing again he started up the speeder and keeping his distance, and displacement, far away enough to keep his presence reasonably discreet, speed after them.

OOC: @Jimmy: let's stick together. And it's ok you did that. @Phil: of course you can play the NPCs, that would be cool. @Imperial: good luck XD

IC:

Bishop stood outside the building, waiting for Kryte, and smoked another cigarette. The mission was started. The game was on. Once again he wondered who was the hunter and who the hunted, because he understood Murdok would not make it easy for both Kryte and Bishop.

He looked around and tried to spot possible enemies Murdok had hired. Mercs out to kill them, not to defend Murdok but to earn some money. He smiled. Just like the good old times.

He looked up to the sky as he took another sip of his cigarette and thought this could be his last mission. He was growing tired and he was getting older. He thought of settling down with a nice woman and have kids and a simple life. He breathed out the smoke and looked back at the ground.

Suddenly he starting to feel a little bit umcomfortable and he placed his right hand on the handle of one of his blasters. His fingers tapped one by one on the handle and he looking around the area. Something was about to happen.
