Bishop immediately sprinted after Zur-Kor, he was caught in a black rage. He did not see anyone but Zur-Kor. He didn't care about anything else. What had happened in the past, had caused Bishop to carry insane hatred for Zur-Kor.

"Get back here!" he shouted.

As they reached the back Bishop catched up with him and he slashed with strength for Zur-Kor's left shoulder (actually his right, but he's standing with his back to Bishop).

"I always hoped for the moment to kill you!" Bishop shouted to Zur-Kor. "Since you left me for dead among my men, and you killed her off! She was the only woman I cared for in my whole mercenary life! Traitor!"

The blow sent Zur-Kor skidding forward into the ground. He recovered quickly to lash out at Bishop with his right blade, the attack was directed to decapitate Bishop. As he swung, he spun, so that his left blade would follow the right except lower and at the groin. It was professional and quick, only a master of blades could pull it off.

Zur-Kor didn't have the pure hatred Bishop did, he was always calm and professional. It was if he didn't have any emotions, he was a machine, cool and calculating. Though Zur-Kor didn't realize it. To him everything was a job, another test of his abilities.

However some scrap of humanity remained within the battered red armor.
Bishops words struck home.

This time his attack held a hint of anger.

As a battle raged on around them the two veterans of life were lost in their own little world. Explosions and bullets filled the air, a firefight was underway further away. No doubt Caru and Kryte were dealing with the thugs.

Bishop quickly slashed with his sword against the one with which Zur-Kor wanted to decapitate him so he blocked off the attack. However, he had nothing to block the lower sword so in a reflex he brought down his left arm and the blade cut his arm.

He did not feel pain, because of all the adrenaline that was racing through his body.

He kicked towards Zur-Kor's abdomen and right after the kick followed his blade, coming straight for the merc's left shoulder, from above. It was an overhand power-blow.

Zur-Kor stumbled backwards from the kick, temporarily winded it was enough for Bishops attack to strike home. Pain erupted from Zur-Kor's shoulder as the blade struck. His armor did it's job however and the power of the strike was wasted on the armor, it was, however, enough to pierce the shoulder plate.

Blood started dripping down his arm as he regained composure, it's red colour lost on the equally red armor.

Zur-Kopr twirled his blades and advanced on Bishop like some sort of ancient farming machine. With his two blades Zur-Kor held a significant advantage. Were one strike would fail the other would succeed.

He did just that, swinging the two powerful blades from opposite directions towards Bishops flanks.

Bishop could block the left blade, but the right hit its goal. Although Bishop was outmatched by Zur-Kor, and he had a bigger chance to lose than to win, he still fought on though. He would never stop until one of the two was dead.

As Zur-Kor's right blade struck him he roared in pain and he stumbled. He was bleeding on serveral places and thus he was wounded. And as it seemed, it would only get worse if he continued to fight Zur-Kor, which he did.

He took a few steps back and recovered a bit. The pain made place for his hate again and so the pain subsided for now. It would probably return after the battle, when he would wake up in a med-bay. That is, if he would survive this.

Suddenly Bishop pulled out a blaster with his left hand, as he held his vibrosword with his right and aimed the gun at Zur-Kor's chest. He did not hesitate and pulled the trigger.
It was a fast move, maybe unexpected, and at close range. Was Zur-Kor able to dodge this?

The Blaster shot was potentially fatal. His Armor did little to protect against a shot at pointblank.

Zur-Kor couldn't react to such a quick move. There was the piercing sound of the blaster discharging followed by a grunt from Zur-Kor. This battle couldn't go on much longer and now Zur-Kor was far too injured to stop another attack from Bishop.

Realizing this even as the first wave of pain hit Zur-Kor did the unexpected. Instead of falling backwards he half ran half stumbled the few steps towards Bishop. It was a near impossible feat. Zur-Kor spun his blades in his hands so that they pointed towards the ground, then with a burst of strength Zur-Kor covered the distance between them and using his height advantage drove the blades downwards at Bishops chest. If this attack didn't kill him they would at least be both rendered unable to fight.

The quick bloody battle was coming to a close.

Bishop dropped his sword and his pistol as the two blades were pierced through his chest. He fell to his knees and he coughed up some blood. He was wounded, heavily wounded, as was his opponent. Still he felt the hatred but he was immobilized. He could not move a limb and he fell to the ground. As he lay there on his back, the two swords stuck in his chest, he stared at the ceiling.
The gunfire sounded very far away and slowly, everything went black in front of his eyes. He lay there motionless and breathed very heavy.

Good job, Bishop... he thought to himself. He beated you again...

He closed his eyes and lost conscious. He was not dead, just unconscious and he was losing blood.

"To hell with you, Zur-Kor..." he managed to say just before he passed out.

Zur-Kor collapsed next to Bishop, barely a meter away. His injury was less serious then Bishops but just as debilitating. Zur-Kor's eyes went fuzzy and he blacked out more then once as he attempted to sit up.

"To hell with you, Zur-Kor..."

Zur-Kor looked over to Bishop who had passed out. Reaching for his back Zur-Kor pulled a blaster pistol from his belt and pointed it at Bishops head.
His finger on the trigger and blood now forming a pool around them both.
Bishops breathing was shallow and if he didn't receive medical attention he would soon die from blood loss alone.

Yet Zur-Kor couldn't pull the trigger. Despite everything Zur-Kor couldn't live with another cold-blooded murder. He slowly lowered the blaster and then holstered it. Zur-Kor then attended to his wounds, he needed help quickly but for now he could just do with a strong painkiller. Giving himself the shot from his small medical bag on his utility belt, he could finally stand.

In the distance he could hear shouting, possibly Kryte shouting Bishops name. Even a green Merc like Kryte could finish Zur-Kor at this moment.
Calling his speeder through his comm system he would make a quick getaway before either the thugs or Bishops friends turned up depending on who won the battle on the other side of the massive garage.

Zur-Kor was about to turn his back on Bishop and make for the exit when he heard spluttering behind him. Zur-Kor turned to find Bishops body convulsing and spasming. He was going into cardiac arrest.

Zur-Kor was frozen on the spot, just seconds ago he had been trying to kill this man and now here he was dying of the wounds inflicted by Zur-Kor before his very feet.

Zur-Kor gritted his teeth in frustration, a small sound alerted him to the fact his speeder had arrived. Meanwhile Bishops body stopped convulsing and lay still. Zur-Kor made up his mind.

"You owe me one Bishop, and don't you forget it."

Zur-Kor pulled his only adrenaline shot from his bag and with one smooth action stabbed it into Bishops heart. Zur-Kor Injected the pure adrenaline then stood up and left. The adrenaline would save Bishop for the moment.
Yet nothing would save Bishop if they met again.

With a swish of his cloak Zur-Kor was gone, limping away, before finally melting into the darkness.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind me doing that, thought I might make the Zur-Kor/Bishop story just that more interesting :p)

It took a while but then Bishop's eyes opened. He coughed and then realized he was in the middle of a war. He felt the adrenaline from the shot that had been injected and he was in pain. Zur-Kor was gone.

He looked to the side, where Caru and Kryte were hiding. He laid on his back, but he managed to turn around to his chest and he crouched, uneasy, towards cover, leaving a bloodtrail.

"You!" one of Murdok's men shouted as he saw Bishop.
Bishop ignored the man and continued crouching.

"Stop!" the man shouted and he aimed his slugthrower.

Still Bishop ignored him. He had to reach savety and he needed medical attention and he needed it now.

Then the man was about to fire a slug at Bishop but the heavily wounded mercenary was faster. He managed to grab his blaster pistol (the other one as well as his rifle and his sword still lay on the floor). What normally wouldn't take so much energy was now almost impossible, but he managed to turn around. He aimed his blaster pistol and shot down the thug.

After he shot the thug he laid back. The crouching and turning had already exhausted him and he was in pain. He could not do this alone.

Staying low, Kryte started to set up the weapon that Caru gave him. He propped it up on the counter, made sure the energy cell and gas packs were secure, and slowly peered over his cover. Bishop and Zur-Kor were nearby dueling, and the thugs were fanning out behind them, taking their own cover behind various counters, speeders, and work benches. Kryte ducked back down, set the gun to the disruptor mode, said a quick prayer, and unleashed three bursts of fire--two to the left of the duelists, and one to the right--in a spread pattern. He thought that even if he didn’t manage to hit any of the thugs, at least he would be able to destroy some cover, hopefully make them scramble. By this time, Bishop and Zur-Kor were sprawled out on the floor, so Kryte switched the gun to Repeater Blaster mode, and let loose another blind volley over his friend and at the thugs. He then dove back behind the counter, and listened to see if he could tell what was going on.

"Kryte!" Bishop then shouted. It cost him a lot of energy, but he did it anyway. "Kryte! Get over here now! I... I can't do this alone! Drag me behind cover, now!"

Bishop was not afraid to die, but he just did not want to die like this. He was also slightly annoyed by the fact he lay there unable to do anything. He hoped either Kryte or Caru had some medical supplies with them or maybe there were some available in the backroom. He did not suspect they would treat him though, he just hoped for it.

At Bishop's call, Kryte hopped up behind the counter and peered over again.
"Caru, cover me!"
He laid down another spread fire of blaster bolts, and then ran out from behind the counter immediately afterwards. Shooting his slugthrower indiscriminately, he turned the corner and grabbed Bishop. Kryte picked him up, and quickly carried him behind the cover with Caru, trusting her to keep the thugs at bay at least long enough for him and Bishop to get behind the counter.

Bishop felt the pain as Kryte grabbed him but he allowed the young zeltron. Finally they reached cover.

"Thanks, Kryte..." he said and he coughed. "Is... is there some... medpack around here?"

He was still losing blood and he needed attention right away, or he would die. He felt very weak and cold, but he tried to keep himself strong.
