Biography​

My name is Ivarr Bone Breaker. My father named me such because he expected a son. My title comes from my coming-of-age ceremony, where I broke every bone in an enemy's body at age thirteen. My people are of warriors. We do not sow seeds into the earth. We do not raise animals for meat and hide. We do not construct our own homes. We reap the labors of others, kill all that we must for food, and enslave man and machine alike to do our physical labor.

Once upon a time, we were a force to be reckoned with. My father tells me 'The gods forged us to be the greatest warriors in the Galaxy.' Even though I am a daughter, I am his only child, and I helped lead our clan by his side. Once, our people roamed the stars in great generation ships, pillaging and pirating whatever we needed. Now, we are scattered, weak, and hidden in a hundred worlds as nothing more than common mercenaries and raiders. But until recently, I never wanted anything more.

My father died last winter, a raid went wrong. What we thought was a small village turned out to be a Pyke Syndicate drug mine, they slaughtered most of my family and my father before my eyes. I was able to rally what was left and destroy the Pyke hideout, but not without heavy losses. Most people would have broken under such weight. But I am Ivarr Bone Breaker, I am not broken, I am the one who breaks others. Stealing the Pyke's vessels, I had my remaining engineers cobble them together into something resembling a small generation ship.

My people will take to the stars again.
