The 'Music' of the club reverberated through the walls to be heard clearly in the streets outside. Inside, mercenaries, criminals, and degenerates mingled and danced. The New Republic and Free Worlds Alliance had fallen apart, and this was more than enough cause to celebrate for the scum of the underworld. Standing around an open area near the right side of the bar, Ivarr Bone Breaker aimed another Blast-Dart at the little steel shield the Deucalians were using as a makeshift dart board.

Roughly four of her clansmen, including Sehra (@lizziie), stood nearby as their chief lined up her shot. A quick flick of the wrist and the dart landed squarely in the middle of the shield, hitting it with a 'DING!' before exploding into a small burst of fire. Laughing and cheering for herself, Ivarr snatched up another pint of Corellian Ale and sat in one of the chairs they had previously dragged into their area. Looking at her friend, Sehra, Ivarr remarked, "Can you believe it, the Free Worlds and the Republic, gone!? So much loot, so many overpriced vessels sitting in yards, no organized police! We should be fucking RAIDING!"

At that last word, two of the other clansmen shouted, "Ramund!" and, as if it were a reflex, Ivarr shouted back, "Ramund!" Ivarr had not forgotten her words and pledges to the Hutt Clans, specifically Nor'baal. But there might never be another opportunity like this for her clan. So, leaving only a small, elite detachment to stick near Nor'baal's litter, Ivarr took the main force of her clan back into space. Piracy and growth were on her mind now, there would not be a better time to do it.

The call had been sent out by Ivarr, anyone interested in working for, with, or becoming a member of Clan Ramund was welcome to attend this open-air bar. Amongst the blasting music, there would be many raids hatched by the Deucalian pirates. Ivarr hoped that her call had impressed at least one phrase into those she spoke with-

Don't miss out.

Though she was nearby, Sehra was not paying all too much attention to what Ivarr was up to. Her attention, instead, was on two fellow clubbers hanging out with her. The half-Orcolan had her elbow pushed against the wall and her hand rested against the back of her head as she leaned into the wall, towering above the two in front of her. All three were engaged in conversation with Sehra clearly gassing herself up as they spoke.

The Deucalian oozed confidence. "Oh, is that so?" the woman rumbled in response to something one of them said, her lips stretching back into a smirk. Sehra pushed herself off the wall, interlocked her fingers, and stretched her arms high above her head. "I could lift the both of ya, no issue." She leaned down just a bit, grinning toward the one who'd challenged her, then regarding the friend next. "You gonna let me prove it to ya?"

Next thing anyone knew, Sehra was holding a pair of hands in each hand, curling the two partygoers with ease. They seemed equally impressed and a bit nervous - even more so when they were shot straight up with the full length of Sehra's arms as the folks around them all shouted 'Ramund!' in unison.

"With loot comes credits," Sehra noted with a wink as she let the two down. They seemed pretty intrigued by that, but Sehra was done entertaining them. Pushing past them, she drew closer to Ivarr. "And with credits comes more loot." Raid. Reap. Sell. Buy. Repeat. She placed both hands on Ivarr's shoulders and squeezed, shaking her clan leader just slightly in a friendly manner before letting go and moving to grab a mug of ale herself.

The reminiscent air of Coruscant brought back a few joyful memories to the exiled Admiral as she roamed the streets. It had been a decade at the very least since she stepped foot on the planet; she was only here now to oversee the construction of her club. While visiting she couldn't help but walk around and explore, see if anything else was knew.

Ceris caught word of a pirate clan of some-sort hosting a party in an attempt to recruit individuals. "Ray-mond... rah - mun.." she said to herself trying to recall anything about them. Some connections to the infamous Hutt, Nor'baal Desilijic Fa'athra, could be made but Ceris was unable to uncover much. However if they were within that Hutt's circles then they could prove to be very useful. However she must stay alert, for it was unknown territory she was about to walk in.

Dressed in her usual business attire, Ceris entered the supposed club which the pirate convention was hosted. The crude noise which could arguably be labeled as music was so deafening it was difficult to even hear an inner monologue. As she looked around she noticed a couple people cheering and sticking their drinks in the air while a large brutish beast was holding up two grown men as if they were toddlers. As Ceris scanned the club her eyes fixated on another incredibly tall woman with white hair similar to her own. This specific individual had a different quality of air around them. "I guess I'll start with her..." she muttered before approaching.

"I like this place... They know how tuh party, hrmrhm..." Jorge, Alfred's large Enforcer and bodyguard smiled as he glanced around the club. Pirates were loathsome creatures with no loyalty to anything but their own greed. So why did Alfred Shepherd attend this little bantering of trigger happy bandits? The Pahneke Baha still needed members, and pirates were more than expendable. The fact that these ones were aligned with the Hutts already made things easier to deal with. If anything, Alfie would like to at least establish a friendly rivalry with the group to better improve the gang's connections.

"Ivarr Bone Breaker," Alfie introduced himself to the pirate lord, garbed in his simple business attire. She seemed to be busy, speaking to other clanmates Alfie had no interest in. Another woman approached as well, a familiar face but the Scoundrel couldn't place a finger on it yet. The Grimlyn-hybrid felt small amongst these brigands, but hopefully they had a sliver of professionality or this was all just a waste of time. "I am Alfred Shepherd, owner of The Drunken Herd on Kuat." Hopefully the name of that Core World drew the attention it deserved. "I'm Jorge, Mista' Shepherd's back-up, huhuh." Jorge offered to shake the Pirate Lord's hand.

"I'd like to offer you a business deal. The Pahneke Baha Gang has similar interests as you do- perhaps we can work together to get what we both want." Alfred's voice and face were both void of expression, but his eyes revealed far more interest than his posture. Kuat had been on both Skelgok and Alfie's reticles for a while, and now that they had an established base of operations, the gang had so much more opportunity to grow. The shipyards would prove to be quite the undertaking, but Alfie had been planning this for years. All that was left was to hire bodies to act as sandbags, and what better soon-to-be corpses to find than pirates?

Once upon a time the name Deucalian struck terror into the hearts of every captain in the galaxy, their raiders were among the finest cutthroats any had ever had the displeasure to come across. Their black souls burned with greed that only plunder seized could temper, their moods always seething just below the surface.

What had become of these legendary marauders? Had they met their match and perished among the stars, or perhaps they quenched their fill and dispersed richer than a Dug at a pod racing event? Well, that's a tale for another day, my friend.

Siggtryggr found his way doing odd jobs here and there earning a living but nothing came close to the thrill of the old ways. A proud Thorite, he made no attempts to hide his lineage. But that wouldn't stop him from working with other clans, if anything the chance to learn from and write their stories was a glory unto itself that he was more than happy to engage in.

Thus when he heard of such an opportunity, the now more grown Deucalian made his way to see it for himself.

Ivarr snatched up a mug of Corellian and had herself a drink as Sehra squeezed her shoulders. There were not many who could stand above 'Ivarr Bone Breaker' in stature and strength, even among her clansmen. But Sehra Iron-Bearer was a glorious exception. "I'll drink again to that," And she did, "We have slept on our good fortune for too long, I've plans Sehra, grand plans."

A woman caught Ivarr's eye from across the bar. Shorter and older than Ivarr herself, she moved with confidence toward their 'merry band.' It was known immediately that she must be coming to meet, the call had been put out after all. Before Ivarr could beckon her over, two more men stepped into her view. Looking down on the pair and grinning, the buzzed Deucalian listened to their introductions before laughing and pouring herself another ale.

"<Jee bla coo uba doth- Pahneke Baha. Jeejee gee neu uba mocma vehpobaee tee hutta panbipa, che jeejee bom bom katka mocma vehpobaee jen.>" Ivarr spoke first in Huttese, a marker to remind this Shepherd of to whom he spoke. Ivarr led the Kougine Lohba, the elite guard of the Desilijic Kajidic. These two groups were known to each other. Drinking once more, she spoke to Alfie Shepherd in her thick Deucalian accent, "If our interests align, perhaps you shall see a moment to present ideas later. For now, if you want to stay near me, you will listen."

Then, another approached. She did not recognize this man by his face, but his markings told the tales of his clan. Waving him over, she shouted, "Thorite! "Komdu og sestu hjá fjölskyldu þinni!" She spoke the language of the Deucalians, one this blonde man should recognize. Then, looking at the white-haired woman (@Altaria), Ivarr added, "You as well, we shall speak together."

Finally, making sure her mug was filled, Ivarr sat down at the end of a large booth by the blast-dart board. She motioned for the others to join her first, to make introductions if their names were not known. As for herself, she added, "I am Ivarr Bone Breaker, if you don't know, now you know."

Pellios had long been away from Coruscant. At least, he had been operating around the outer rim where less paranoid governing bodies did not patrol. But the collapse of the New Republic and the Free World Alliance both gave the aging Devaronian criminal a whiff of opportunity.

The ship captain was not alone in this feeling as it was clear space raiders had come to Coruscant to fill their boots, if only with booze and regrettable decisions. There were many Deucalians here and work had been light recently for the freelancer. Maybe the warriors would prove to be a business venture. Plenty of them seemed eager for one thing or another.

The Devaronian was wearing a dapper outfit of a tailored blast vest and armorweave lined trousers. His entire ensemble said 'custom' and 'class' though the partially rolled up sleeves would reveal weathered hands of a working man. To the keen eye, one of the 'weapons' on the man's belt was a non-lethal, flash pistol. Beside his fusion cutter was what some might mistake for a lightsaber but was in fact a lightfoil. The main weapon however on his right hip was a humble M3 stun pistol in place of his normal micro-missile pistol. The inner rim tended to make the man more cautious than the wild openness of the outer rim, or maybe it was just more comforting to feel like he had the privacy of isolation. Such a thing was impossible in an ecumonopolis. Pellios felt mostly the same way about the Lil Coruscant as well.

Normally the man would be more impressively armed but not to the degree of the Deucalians he was scanning. Pellios felt like a chef sizing up some customers before the dinner rush. Some of them had brought their weapons with them and even if they were not licensed, they clearly had connections. The Devaronian hoped they had appetites for weapons that matched and wallets that could pay out. Deucalians were mercenaries, rivals even to such groups as the Nightsisters or Mandalorians when it came to reputation. They had to be exceptional warriors if they wanted to make money and stay at the top of their game so it stood to reason they would be paid well for work. That meant they could afford Captain Reverence, most likely.

Walking across the bar , the scoundrel kept a pleasant expression as he approached the leader of the group. It was made easy by his greying hair making him appear less youthful than many of those in the drinking establishment. Catching the last bit of Ivarr introduce themselves, Pellios spoke up. "Ivarr?... It's nice to meet you. I'm Captain Pellios Reverence." He looked at those along the table. "I hope I'm not interrupting. I'd like to buy..." He paused momentarily, thinking twice about 'buying an intimidating woman a drink' before continuing. "I'll buy the next round for everyone and the one after that." Seeing as they had a penchant for drink, the first step was to get on their good side. It would hurt his bank account but it would hopefully pay off.

Zeep ran on all fours, his orange furred body was a blur as it darted into the room. He was a meter in length roughly, if you included his tail. The Amaran dove between bar stools and patrons alike that were too drunk or tall to notice. Between his tightened canines was a clenched cigara stick, the ember burning slightly as the wind resistance made it burn and smoke.

Weaving through the crowd with the swiftness of a small animal, the freelancer leapt onto his target. Jorge, the back-up to Alfie Shepherd had made some enemies in his years of service and ones prior. It was only a few thousand credits but Zeep was low on credits and not picky. Even though this was a high security space, they were far from Kuat and the Pahneke Baha Gang did not have as much safety here. It would be easy, after the fact, to pin it on some rival gang, at least that was the line of thinking his client hinted at.

The empty pawed Amaran flew through the air and jumped onto the face of the bodyguard. They may have expected an attack to come for their boss, but a wild woodland creature clawing at their face in the middle of Coruscant was far from the first thing he would expect.

His claws would dig into Jorge’s shoulders, head and back, trying to keep himself from being thrown free. But the real reason the vulpine attacker had not shot Jorge was because whilst scrabbling over the surprised defender, he tried to pocket a rumored code cylinder the man was carrying. Keys to a ship, a swoop bike, the Amaran did not care, he was going to nab it and look at it later. Whatever it was, it was sure to be valuable. His recon had found the man’s U-wing which could prove a nice bonus after this.

“Oy!” Said the bartender, who could not decide if this was the makings of a brawl, a bounty, or a varmint infestation. Most of the other patrons just looked on with curiosity or ignored it. A few made ways to avoid having their drinks spilled if Jorge lost his footing.

I’m fine with PvP but please DD. No killing or severely maiming. Just trying to have a spicy intro to our characters ;-)

Alfred found the newest arrival to be entertaining, in the least. Jorge was an Enforcer for the Hutts- not a creature one would blatantly charge and attack without a plan. Most would've been enraged, like Jorge, but Alfie watched with awe as the vulpine creature tangled itself with the much larger Grimlyn-Hybrid. The bodyguard roared with wrath after groping with his big hands to try and wring Zeep's neck.

"Ger'off me!! I'll cut a maggot hole in'yuh!!" Screamed Jorge as he whipped himself around, trying to grab any of the vulpine's limbs. Once he managed to get a hand on Zeep, there wouldn't be much else for the thief to do than beg for his life. Jorge cared little for pain when his anger was stoked. All the thief would find on Jorge would be his weapons and security spike along with a dataphone, a personav, and comlink that was directly linked to Alfie's. "I'll beat yuh so bad yer own motha' won't recognize yuh!!"

The Scoundrel kept all of his belongings on himself; his blaster pistol in it's holster, his canto-cane in his off-hand, and all of his belongings were connected to an elastic key-ring. They were easily cut by any blade that wasn't too dull, but it alerted Alfred in case anyone was feeling lucky. Judging by the way Zeep attacked, he wasn't after Jorge's throat. Instead, Alfie deducted that the fox was after something more valuable and long-lasting than couple thousand credits.

"Find what you were after?" The Scoundrel raised an unimpressed eyebrow, his voice nulled with heavy boredom. The Pahneke Baha was still hiring, so perhaps this little miscreant could prove himself by tangling with an Enforcer. So far, however, the smaller Grimlyn-Hybrid wasn't impressed, but his attention was drawn to say the least.

Zeep’s digits clawed into the fabric and the surface skin of the hybrid bodyguard. But the pain was meant to just distract and distress the target while the smaller and more nimble creature scrambled around his body to avoid his grasp and pickpocketing his sidearm and holding it in his hands.

With a slap towards a key control on his wrist, the small backpack of items on Zeep’s back opened up and produced a robotic arm wielding a light blaster pistol. The device possessed a rudimentary droid brain with adequate accuracy given it’s borderline point blank range. Jorge would be glad if he knew it was set to stun but as far as he knew it was at a lethal setting because the Amaran held his fire.

In his hands he held the stolen heavy RSKF blaster pistol from Jorge and angled it at the bodyguard but his left paw held up to signal the droid brain to hold its fire. “I argue she probably wouldn’t recognize me as is.” The freelancer’s mother was dead and Zeep had long since changed from being a sniveling pup. The droid blaster arm with quicksilver pistol remained centered on the bodyguard

Zeep returned his hands to holding Jorge’s blaster two handed. He was still only three feet tall and could use the extra stability when it came to weapons even if he had years of experience with them. Compared to any of the other patrons, an ordinary blaster dwarfed the petite Amaran though now as he barred his fangs and had a few blasters trained on someone, people were not thinking of him as cuddly.

The voice of a dapper gentleman reached the triangle ears of the fox-like assaulter. “Heh…uh…fraid not.” He admitted half-nervously. Zeep had definitely been sold bad intel. “Any chance we can pretend like this never happened?” He chuckled and grinned, keeping an eye on the exit and the number of legs he would need to dive through to escape should things go from bad to worse.

Jorge didn't like the vulpine alien at all. The bodyguard stood menacingly growling at the Amaran who took his blaster. It wasn't a surrender, Alfie knew Jorge was simply looking and waiting patiently for the thief to drop his guard. However, the Scoundrel only had to look at the Hybrid before Jorge stood up straighter, at ease.

"Only on one condition, petty-thief." In a flash, Alfred was already aiming his own blaster pistol at the back of Zeep's head. Now the Amaran was in a pickle- if he made a move on Alfie, Jorge would probably tear him apart, and if he held his aim on Jorge, Zeep would be put down like an old cattle dog. "You weren't after the weapon... You thought Jorge was carrying something of mine, hm? Something far more valuable... The archaic pocket watch? No..." Alfie then put his weapon down, and holstered it slowly.

"You wanted my ship. What is your name, Mutt?" Maybe there didn't need to be any spilled blood tonight. The Pahneke Baha didn't just let anyone join it's ranks, but not just anyone could steal Jorge's blaster and use it against him either. "If you put those quick hands to good use for me, I can offer you more than a simple starship, but you'll have to give my bodyguard's weapon back. He doesn't bite..." Jorge then snarled, gnashing his teeth like a rabid animal.

"...Much."

Zeep had been told to not get distracted with talk during tense situations. But also it was important to not be wound too tight or else things could get worse. When Alfie moved to draw his blaster at the back of Zeep's head he was already whirling around to point the bodyguard's stolen blaster at the classy gentleman. The muzzle of the man's blaster was leveled at the Amaran's forehead but the blaster on the back of the spunky critter continued to point at Jorge, keeping him from moving on Zeep.

"Grrrrr..." Zeep barred his teeth, his lips rising on either side of his snout as he stared down Alfie tenaciously. He had to save face and he instinctually wanted to be as intimidating as possible. The Amaran stopped his posturing in the stand-off as Alfie lowered his weapon but kept Jorge's weapon in hand.

The man eventually said what the condition was and made a proposition for Zeep. The fox-like ears of the Amaran twitched as they thought about the offer. "Well I'm looking for work as it turns out." He cracked a grin and ejected the ammo cartridge from the blaster pistol before reversing the grip. Turning towards Jorge his grin widened a little as he tried to ease the tense mood. He tapped a control on his wrist and the droid arm collapsed back into its stowed position. "I do bite, a lot." His mouth widened to its furthest showing an impressive set of canines among other sharp teeth. Relaxing his wide smile to a smug grin, Zeep tossed the empty blaster back to Jorge first and followed it with the ammunition. "No hard feelings."
