You know who your parents are or were. Born while aboard a medical suite in a ship while out in the depths of space, Pellios was born into the galaxy sixty years ago. Technically he is a half Devaronian since his mother was near-human. His mother however dissappeared from his life at an early age and Pellios never found out what happened to her. This left Pellios's father a single parent of four.
As the oldest Pellios was often given the responsibility in matters when his father wasn't around. His father settled on Cato Nemoidia. Pellios's childhood home was an apartment in a rundown neighborhood in one of the more populated cities. He managed to make several friends, and his childhood was generally a happy one.
As a teenager however, war ravaged his home community, reducing everything to rubble and ruin. His one and only sister died in this event. All personal affects that had belonged to Pellios were destroyed due to violence too but he stayed and helped rebuild somewhat before leaving. A smuggler moving medical supplies aided him in getting his first work off planet and his first steps into the underworld of crime. Pellios quickly fell in with an even worse crowd. He was caught involved in an extortion case however was not found guilty. With more leash Pellios added arms dealing to his repertoire all while keeping a low profile.
Pellios was on a job when an outbreak occurred involving AMS. In that harrowing experience he was bitten on his right hand but managed to get it chopped off with the help of a fellow smuggler. The events that day and smoke inhalation has caused Pellios to sometimes go into fits of coughing though medical treatment has helped. There were others that survived and added their names to the list of people that want to punch the Devaronian.
For a few years the man worked as a farmer for a bit and earned a simple wage while on Takodana until things cooled off when an arms deal involving disintegrator weapons went down the trash compactor. Ever the patient man, he wouldn't leave for a few years until he got word that the possibility of a bounty being on his 'then-alias' was gone. Now he is back to the 'simple smuggler' life with crewmate Jann and Ruthless.

Currently alive and well, Pellios appreciates a modest lifestyle mainly out of his ship. The Devaronian sees even criminal work life the same as any occupation. With years of wisdom and also a paranoia and tenacity to match, a career as a smuggler has suited the man well. While he is a spry old man, he is somewhat reluctantly coming to terms with his age. However he still has a few good years in him and he doesn't plan on wasting them.
Pellios has survived this long for a reason and wishes to live the best last few days he has. But with a lot of experience comes regret and demons. The Devaronian may have been forgotten by others, but he himself remembers the times past and everything he has gone through. These days he hides behind humor when he has the energy to flirty and flaunt but otherwise will have moments of gruffness begin to peak through during exchanges.
