The moment the Insurrectionists took Ossus from the Empire was the moment the Hutts appeared. Such were the maneuvers in periods of low-intensity warfare and border skirmishes. When outright invasion was impossible, one had to move through more subtle means. Not that showing up on-world with an army of Gammorreans armed-to-the-teeth was particularly subtle, mind you. It was more about being patient. Knowing exactly when to strike.
The time was now. Ossus has been war torn since the founding of the New Jedi Order, continuously bombarded and shelled by whichever parties owned it. Today, the lightning-planet was, tepidly, sovereign. But self-determination came at a cost - without the Empire, the new planetary leadership was without allies. And in a galaxy that eyed it hungrily, it could not survive long.
This was where Gor'Jarr appeared. The Scion of Gamorr and Protector of Ubrikka could not resist the temptation of ripping the planet from the Empire's hold. He cared little about the reported involvement of the Sith at all, or for the deeper politics of the new insurrectionary government. Gor'Jarr was here with a single mission: Absolute domination.
From within his cruiser, he opened his holopad to review his notes. His phone system began to beep with an alert that he was getting called. Gor'Jarr snapped to pick up, and his blue hologram fizzed to life in the hold of his ship.
