Risho

Risho had been following a gang of pirates for some time now. He had eavesdropped on their conversation whilst they were refuelling on Naboo. They had been discussing their last job which had been close to the borders of the Free World Alliance. They also mentioned how they were going to pirate within the borders of the Free Worlds itself. Noting that the rangers had been stretched thin lately. Risho, wanted to get rid of them before it was a problem of course, they had become cocky and needed to taste the law. Risho had followed them back to their ship and placed a tracking beacon on them. They hadn't attacked anyone else by the time their ship had landed on Tatooine. The pirates landed at a small base north of Mos Eisley. Risho had landed in the Mos Eisley spaceport and went out to scout their base. They didn't have much, around 15 men, a ZH-40 tribune-class light freighter which had been significantly modified and was the ship he had followed back to the planet. Their base was crafted around a cave which, Risho could see to be the only entrance. Although maybe there was an exit towards the back. He could not tell nor did he have the time to check. There was a watchtower in front of the entrance with one man inside and two men on the ground at the entrance. Risho had spent some time counting the new faces he had seen. He had seen 15 people in total, although that didn't mean there wasn't any more.

After his scouting, Risho had travelled back to Mos Eisley. Before entering the town he had tuned into the Sector Ranger comms.

"This is Ranger Risho. I'm on Tatooine. Meet me in the Mos Eisley cantina. There's some pirates to be dealt with."

Risho's message was straight and to the point. After sending out his message he left for the cantina. Sitting in one of the booths waiting for some of his ranger allies to arrive. His blaster pistol was in it's holster rested on the table, his cape folded neatly and placed by his side in the booth. His bright badge pinned proudly to his coat. There was no drink or food in front him, the Chiss disliked taking his helmet off in public and around people in general. He had a small fear that he'd be recognised one day, perhaps by the odd Chiss that roamed the galaxy like he did. He feared his past military failures would be unearthed and that they'd have some bearing on people's perception of him. The sheer loss of life he had caused would be enough for someone to try and kill him, he thought. Risho tapped the table idly as he waited for some backup, hopefully they'd be here soon.

Raff had his stubby legs crossed as he laid back in the elevated seat of his Kihraxz starfighter, his holonet radio lightly crackling as it filled the cabin with some jatz music while he lightly bobbed his head and rolled a toothpick across his maw. He'd finished off his patrol and written up half of his admittedly bland report, which involved a whole lot of nothing throughout the lower sectors of the midrim, at least as far as combat and excitement went. He had plenty of time leftover, since Raff didn't exactly follow speed guidelines in covering his areas. He didn't follow a lot of guidelines really, it's what earned him the moniker 'Riff Raff' among his home base group on Rattatak. He was hardly a Republic head, he didn't care much for the regulations and guidelines and stiffness of order. What he did care about was flying, and excitement, and deep down...maybe some more things he'd learned in his two years with the Rangers. He at least enjoyed the steady income while he got to do at least -some- of what he loved.

That's when the radio cut out into some fizzling and brief message. He was receiving a transmission on the SecRanger radiowaves, something about Tatooine. Raff leaned forward and shut off his music, amplifying and replying the transmission. Pirates? A light grin spread across Raff's face as he pulled his toothpick free from his mouth and flicked it aside. Tatooine wasn't too far off, a simple jump away, and this promised some excitement. He flicked his holocomm on as he brought his systems up to full power.

"This is Ranger Caphrydell, H-16 patrol. It's your lucky day, Risho, just finished up my patrol and I'm on my way. Over and out." The small alien spoke with some clear prideful gusto, sending off the message before he pressed the throttle forward, and beems of light began to stream past his cockpit. He was Tatooine bound.

----

Soon enough Risho would watch a small alien creature walk in, yet his upright posture and held grin made it seem as though he thought he owned this place. He flicked some credits to the bartender, who did his best to react to catch the unexpected chips, fumbling with them and giving the aleena a glare. Raff only beamed smugly back at him.

"Two of the house special for me and my friend in the back, and make it snappy! You can keep the change." Raff spoke, his whole demeanor seeming to tick the human behind the bar, all except for the promise of extra credits, which instantly made him at least tolerable. he then bean to waddle his way over towards the other Ranger, only able to recognize him from the Sector Ranger registry and the fact that the only only residents were a group of rodians that seems to want to avoid the new arrival. Raff's apparel was very evidently that of a bombastic spacer, and he did nothing to hide his affiliation with the rangers.

Draco Virtus would already be in Mos Eisley when he received the call. Draco usually looked the Tatooine district with a small group of others but also roamed wherever the Rangers needed him when low of Rangers. They held the Thin Green Line but for what Rangers came into Service they produced outstanding Law Officers and holders of justice. Draco wore his usual Reaper Custom made Mako 03 Armour with his helmet over his head and HUD on as usual. His slung The message would be displayed across the screen as he read it quickly and dispatched a reply to the Ranger. His Two blaster pistols concealed under his ArmoruWeave cape on his hip and leg. His Blaster rifle slung behind his back also under the cape. Tapping the side of his helmet as he made way to the cantina while relaying a message to the Ranger.

"Ranger Virtus, R-7 Patrol, I'm in the area and inbound."

The message would be sent off as he began to head towards the Cantina. Species from all over would be going in every direction as his badge was on his armour that was concealed by his cape. Making his way past the citizens and travellers the stern Ranger kept his wits about him. His posture was demeaning and his eyes were also on watch through his hud as he moved. Finally making his way to the Cantina he would enter with the doors swinging open. A breeze rolled through as his armourweave cape fluttered a bit while he stepped in. A smirk on his face as he seen the pair in the corner. The smaller one he would've never took for a Ranger but they came in all shapes and sizes, of all different species so Virtus knew not to judge or underestimate. Stepping over to the booth as he took a seat next to the pair and folded his arms.

"Did I hear a mention of Pirates?"He smirked under his helmet. The Bartender made up the drinks for the pair and sent the waiter over as Virtus waved her off for anything to drink for himself.

Risho

The responses of the rangers rung out in Risho's helmet, one after the other. Risho anticipated the pair's arrival. He usually worked alone but sometimes you needed someone to come with you and assist you. He hadn't spent too long on the job mind, he didnt know many of the other rangers. Maybe, they would stick together after this. If they worked well. Or maybe at the end they'd part ways, who knew. But a trio of Rangers would be pretty suitable for Risho. Maybe if they met a fourth they could joined. This was all looking too much into the future however. Right now he had to stick on the present.

First came the Aleena, a small lizard person who had bought a drink for Risho. Risho pulled out a few credits and slid them across to Raff.
"Sorry, I don't drink". His helmet made his voice sound deep and quite robotic, quite different to his actual voice. Which wasn't particularly deep and more richer sounding. Without his helmet, it would be obvious from his voice that he'd grew up and lived in wealth. The Chiss tapped the table as he waited patiently for the next ranger. He wasn't one for small talk. It wasn't long before he came in, Ranger Virtus, he'd spotted Risho and Raff pretty quickly, but he supposed that they did stick out in the almost empty Cantinaa. Risho listened to Draco and nodded. "At least fifteen. At a cave North of here. One Watchtower with One man, a sniper. Two at the cave entrance. The rest inside. A ship outside, a ZH-40. Old but modified extensively.". Risho pulled out two thermal detonators and placed them on the table. "Kill the guards quietly, blow up the ship.". He spoke tapping the detonator on the left. "The rest will come out panicked, throw the other detonator and gun them down. All goes to plan, it'll be quick and simple. Thoughts?" . He then placed his two detonators back onto his belt. Risho wanted to listen to what the other two rangers thought, see if they had some ideas themselves. He was wary of having the weight of the plan entirely on him, the last time he did it did not go to plan. Really, he was hoping they'd have a few ideas themselves, maybe they could spit ball some ideas and choose the best.

Underneath the helmet the Chiss eyed both of them up. They seemed capable, the Aleena was confident, incredibly so. You'd have to be, to be a ranger with no armour. The armoured ranger also seemed capable. He was a bit more ready for the task at hand considering that he had brought armour. Risho moved his cape onto his lap, freeing up some space at the table for them all to fit on. He was ready to listen to their ideas. More than ready to bring some justice to the pirates.

The aleena looked over the faceplate of the masked figure for a moment before he gave a shrug. He’d met other Rangers who followed the straight and narrow like that. He used to be a lot worse himself about how he enjoyed his reprieves, often ending face down in some gutter on Rattatak. Raff was better about his antics now, but better didn’t mean perfect. That’s when he glanced over to another man walking into the room. As he approached their table, the aleena settled a little, assuming him to be a friend.

“What about you, bub? You off the stuff too? It’ll be more for me, I guess, but I’d hate to have too much before a mission, not that I can’t hold my juma juice, ‘cuz I can.” Raff said as he glanced over to yet another suited up figure whose features were hidden under a helmet. He pushed the second drink over to the new arrival and third accomplice, before he sipped at his own drink that was a bit big for his form, the aleena having to stand on the padded seating of the booth. When he finished his gulp he looked over to Risho, clearly something on his mind.

“There a reason we need to go in on foot? Why not do a strafing run? I’ve got enough payload back in the Hellfire to take their ship out of commission, and if all they got is some sniper tower...no anti-ship cannons or nothin’? I don’t see why we go in on foot, unless I’m missin’ something here.” Raff spoke, going back to his drink then as he waited.

Draco Virtus would tap the side of his helmet as the entire visor retreated back into his helmet. Taking the cup he would nod to Raff as he took a mouthful and set it back down on the table. It seemed the small pilots listening skills were abit rough as he Draco chuckled. "It's a cave...We can strafe the outside all we want but we can't get what is remaining of them inside. I don't think blowing a cave system in the front to smithereens and have them die from oxygen would look to great in the papers..Plus we need to figure out what is inside, could be evidence." Draco shrugged slowly as he took another mouthful of the juice before setting it back down on the table next to the pair.

Draco took it all into account as he tapped the table with his fingertips gently. "How about we strafe the outside like he said" Shifting his pointer finger over to Raff. "But have me and you deploy on foot to enter the cave and clear it out on foot..He can stay in the air and provide overwatch in case any back up arrives. Knocking out that ship and guard towers with his Hellfire would be a smart move to do before trying to push that cave entrance on foot." He would shrug as he was pretty flexible. He figured from a tactical stand point it made perfect sense. All angles were covered, if they got to pinned down they could use Raff to suppress them enough for the pair to move.

Thinking abit to himself as he shrugged. "They could come out in a panic or they could hold what they got inside and try setting up a defensive perimeter, odds are we need to be on the ground one way or another..Having us all on one ship isn't smart, one wrong boom, we all die, doesn't matter what from, If we space out and there's a boom, one of us and not the whole team will die."

Risho listened to the Aleena's plan and nodded. Using his ship was a good idea. It'd destroy the guards and the enemy ship much quicker than a detonator. He had some reservations about staying on the ship though, the pirates could hide out in the cave. Risho was about to address this until Draco did. He listened carefully as he watched the two rangers drink their alcohol. This was a good plan. It was a mixture of everyone's plans in some way. Risho hadn't took into consideration that the cave could collapse, an oversight like that is what, as Draco pointed out, doesn't look good in the news. Then there was also the evidence that could have been destroyed. Risho nodded in agreement with Draco. "Your plan sounds the best". Risho said, nodding at Draco. Draco had a good eye for tactics it seemed, a sound thinker. The Aleena also brought some good ideas to the table too, the use of a ship would give them a much better advantage over the pirates who'd be stuck on the ground. All of them nod being in the ship was also a good idea, if the ship was destroyed then they'd all be dead. Dying wasn't exactly on Risho's to-do list anytime soon. "So, if we're all decided on this then. We should move out A-S-A-P. The pirate ship won't be there forever.". Risho stood up, his high necked cape in hand. He flung it behind him and clipped the cape around his neck with it's fastening. It sat over his shoulders nicely. Next he picked his holster up and clipped it to his belt. He moved his cape over so it'd cover his holster and star. Risho liked to move inconspicuously sometimes, it didn't always bode well to be recognised as a ranger. Especially in a place as dangerous and full of criminals as Mos Eisley.

The aleena listened to the man he presumed was a human talk and gave a light shrug of agreement. All of his points were right, as far as the Ranger playbook went. Potential brutal lethality and a loss of evidence to report back with wouldn’t be the greatest addition to one’s mission records. In all honesty, though he didn’t speak up about it, it perhaps showed on his face that Raff didn’t give to much care to these considerations regardless. He figured blasting badguys and stopping piracy was the goal, and anything else was fluff on top if you could afford it. In the end, he didn’t mind doing it the way of these armored rangers, he still got his kicks by being overwatch in the Hellfire. Let him fly and the aleena didn’t care what the rest of the mission entailed. And a little past that, he also liked the idea of not being first boots on the ground, or feet in his case. He had gone through the basics, sure, but Raff’s skills landed solidly in his pension for racing through the skies behind the wheel of a fighter.

“Works for me. You two got your own rides then? We rendezvous just beyond the range any hand-held scanner the guard in the tower could have, coordinate a strafing run to take out their ship. I’ll avoid the tower and the entrance so I don’t collapse the cave, but the guards will piss themselves and burrow in like womp rats. I’ll run cover and be in behind you once you breach the entrance. Sound like fun?” Raff spoke as a sharp-tooth grin crossed his face, the only face visible amongst the three rangers. Both his holstered pistol and vibroknife on his wrist did as well, and he did nothing to hide the badge pinned into his flak jacket. The aleena likely wasn’t used to venturing out too far from Free Worlds’ territory, to places like Tatooine where they weren’t always so welcome. They might have to teach the small compatriot a thing or two about subtlety for certain, if Raff would really accept any pointers.

“Doubt we can get these to go, damn shame. Oh well, duty calls, right fellas?”
Raff said with some somberness as he stared at his half full glass, before pushing it to the middle of their booth. He then hopped down from the table, walking under it and towards the exit with a confident waddle of a walk, his little stubbly tail wagging with each step.

Draco Virtus would finish his drink in a large mouthful before setting it down. Tapping the helmet the visor would slide back down with the HUD display showing again. Standing up he would toss a credit on the table for the drinks as he heard Raff give his two cents in regards to the plan. Nodding to him with a jovial smirk on his face he would push his chair in politely and speak along the pair as he checked his HUD. "Yeah, I'm set. I'll meet you there." He got the feeling Raff had a simple mentality or code he lived by. Work less, play more. He wasn't entirely wrong considering he was a small creature but Draco never doubted the inner fight in him if it ever came down to it. Who needs muscle if you got Mechanics? Not even Draco could doubt that capability. Making his way to a small craft that Law Enforcement used he would step off and close the hatch. Turning on the engine and starting thrusters as he began to rise and take off to the camp.

After the short trip he would set down a small little cropping of rocks a bit from the camp. Coming in low and at dusk so the sun setting would be facing them and blinding his entrance from a distance. Stepping out he would brush off his Armourweave cape that hid his Ranger badge. Tapping the side of the helmet he would send in a different frequency to his fellow rangers. "Ranger Virtus, R-7 Patrol at the rendezvous." before sliding his blaster rifle out from behind his slung back. Taking up security after waiting 2 minutes to see if anything in the area heard him or enemies were near. As it was clear he pushed to the rocky boulders on a small hill that helped conceal his small ship.

Using his magnifier on his helmet he would start marking the patrol patterns of the pirates and taking note of their weaponry as his eyes scanned along the camp from a distance. Thinking to himself as he noted mentally.. "Mm..Going to need to go on Ranger Raff's landing ramp for the initial push..His Ship covers a lot of ground, once we're close enough me and the other Ranger will roll off the ramp as he engages the pirates and begin our attack on foot."

Risho
Risho nodded as he listened to the Aleena. He was a confident man. Held himself high, Risho respected that. But he also noted his lackadaisical nature, this was very different to Risho and his hard working nature. He would always fill and hand reports in. Whether or not they made him look good. He knew the importance of these things and respected them greatly. Learning their importance from his time as an Officer Cadet at the Chiss defence force. Risho made his way to his ship. It was pretty old and not in the best of shapes but it suited him fine, at least for the time being. Maybe he could get a better, newer ship issued to him by the Sector rangers. He wasn't the best pilot in the world but a ship was important in apprehending criminals and from getting to point A to point B. After boarding his ship he flew off in the direction of the camp, trailing behind Draco's own ship. He had arrived there before Risho and his voice sounded out in his helmet. Risho decided to land somehwere near Draco, but not too close to arouse suspicion and gain attention.

Before leaving his ship, Risho grabbed his A280 blaster rifle. An old but reliable rifle which packed a good punch. He slung the rifle over his shoulder as he disembarked, locking up his ship. "Copy that. I'm on my way". Responding to his compatriots own message on the comms. After some time walking Risho eventually made it to Draco. "Ranger Virtus". Greeting the ranger before him. Risho crouched by the ranger's side and followed his gaze. "What do you think?". Risho wasn't the best scout in the world and it was good to get a second person's opinion, especially after they've seen what they're dealing with for themselves. Ranger Virtus seemingly had a great tactical mind, something which he wished he had for himself. Even though their encounters had been brief so far and their knowledge of one another low, Risho somewhat admired his fellow rangers. Over the past year or so, Risho had appreciated the company of more regular men and women. He hadn't encountered many in his life, the only people he had met until recently had been part of the part of the Aristocra on Csilla or under his command. It was good to get rid of his past beliefs of Class superiority. Especially now that he didn't have everything he ever wanted at his fingertips.

Raff heard the report come in over his intercom while he waited in the Kihraxz class Hellfire, staying a ways back closer to Mos Eisley. No need to have all three of them scouting, made for too many possibilities to get spotted, and no backup options if they got captured. He was expecting to be called in for the strafing run once the two were ready, but instead it seemed Ranger Virtus had a different plan of action for their approach. Raff grinned a bit at the thought of hot dropping his new associates right at the gates of hell. Well, fifteen pirates hardly made for the most daring mission ever, but it made it more interesting regardless. With his stubby legs up on his console, he tipped his foot to press down on the comm button, staying in his lax position as he spoke back.

“This is your favorite Riff Raff speaking, I hear you loud and clear Ranger Virtus. I hope you two hit it off well, it’ll be a tight fit in the docking ramp. I’ll try my best not to do any fancy flying, but can’t promise anything. That’s why you two are wearing the suits, right? Ya won’t get banged up too bad. Ha! Heh...I’m on my way, be ready for my approach, over.” Raff spoke into his mic, clearly finding himself quite the riot as he sat up then, pressing the ignition and bringing his systems online. The familiar hum of the craft he’d put much of his heart and soul into surrounded the aleena, and he couldn’t help but take in a breath and appreciate the sensations running through his little body.

“Swear to the Force I love flying...” Raff mumbled to himself as he slowly began to lift the Kihraxz fighter into the air, firing off the throttle and doing a roll just for the fun of it through the Tatooine sky, coming up on the rendezvous point. Raff started to angle down for a sharp landing as he came up on the dune cropping, he came to a holt with a flurry of sand beneath his vessel, keeping the engine on as he lowered his ramp for the two.

Draco Virtus would keep his head facing straight as he heard the Comlink come up on his HUD display as the other Rangers came close. It seemed Ranger Risho finally made it to him and set up on the rocky out crop as Ranger Raff hung back a bit and waited for the pair and was inbound to get them. Draco was more the Tatooine Cowboy type but he was nothing short of Ranger standard. He done all his paperwork, abided by the Ranger laws even though sometimes he danced on the thin ice that floated between good and evil but it was always for the interest of protecting the people and never self gain. Turning his eyes slowly to glance over at Ranger Risho he would give him the same little speel he said to himself in his head.

"
Mm..Going to need to go on Ranger Raff's landing ramp for the initial push..His Ship covers a lot of ground, once we're close enough me and the other Ranger will roll off the ramp as he engages the pirates and begin our attack on foot." as he turned back to look through his magnifier at the pirates moving about. Tapping the helmet on the side he would call in to Ranger Raff in the ship. "Yeah I'm ready, swoop in low, we'll jump on the ramp and bring us in full speed until you get close, slack off on the throttle and speed so we can jump down and start engaging." Turning his head back over to Risho as he remembered the Thermal detonators. "Once we hit the ground, toss one right off the hop and get as much ground as you can while they duck for cover.. I'll take the right flank, you hold the left. Try to get the farthest piece of cover off to your side as I will do mine. That way if they flank us from the outside they'll be in the open..in the middle they'll have to take our cross fire and it will be a Bantha shoot for them. Nowhere to go except retreat."

"If you get hit, I will not stop for you, Mission > Men. No good for me trying to work on you if they're still shooting and active. Keep pushing, work the wounded later if you can. Worse comes to worse, Raff drops down for MEDEVAC and we fly you out of there. Same goes for me. Good luck. " Nodding to him as they never had much time before Raff was inbound in hot. Draco would check his Blaster rifle quickly and set it in his lap on a hook that was clipped to the sling over his shoulder. Doing a quick check of his blasters on his hip and bottom left ankle he would breathe slowly before looking back up to face the direction they were going. Mumbling something quietly to himself he would roll his neck and wait for Raff to approach.

Risho

Risho watched the other ranger scout and take in the pirate base. He also watched the base from afar, zooming in with his HUD. Nodding as the other ranger talked and laid down their plan. "Sounds good". Reassuring the ranger that he was listening and that he approved of his strategy. All they had to do was wait for ranger Raff. Draco did the talking to Raff, which was good considering that Risho himself wasn't that much of a talker. Risho readied his blaster rifle, making sure that it was fit for fight. He checked down the barrel to make sure there wasn't any sort of blockages and checked that the mechanisms all worked before Raff came in. Holding the rifle in his left hand, Risho pulled out one of his thermal detonators with his left. He wanted to get it readied and thrown as soon as they left the ship. He agreed with the sentiment on not waiting for the injured. The pirates needed dealing with asap. They weren't going to be there forever.
"Good Luck"

His fellow ranger's words rung out in his head. He didn't particularly believe in luck, he believed in skill. Of they were skilled enough they'd succeed. Although, getting hit by a bolt had some sense of luck about it. Risho prepared himself for the oncoming battle, he wasn't particularly nervous. He'd seen combat many times before and was already for it. But it was always good to prepare yourself for combat he thought, the strain of what a person will see can be overwhelming.

Raff waited for the two to jump up into his on-ramp, they just below his cockpit and once they were inside the flooring ascended until it clasped shut up against his ship with the two rangers inside. He peered down at the two from where he was seated, grinning smugly as he spoke one last warning to each of them.

"Hold onto something, boys!" His higher-pitched voice called out over the thrum of the powerful engine as the fighter craft rose up from the dune sands, and blasted off towards the pirate holdout. As the Hellfire came up on the rocky cave, Raff quickly brought down his targeting computer to lock onto the parked pirate ship left out in the twin suns unexpectantly. Raff tilted his fighter, angling the wingtip mounted cannons to line up his shot, letting lose a rip of fire that tore into the unshielded vessel. The first shots made the ship keel, the front snapping from the landing gear to hit the sand, raising the back aft until the cannonfire struck the engine section, igniting the fuel cells within...And the whole vessel went up in a blaze of vibrant colors and smoke.

Raff laughed aloud in the excitement of it, flying past the base and taking a long turn around for the sake of his companions, as he'd normally test how many g's he could pull for the tightest turns. On his way back around overhead of the cavernous hideout, he fired a few shots past the tower that strafe across the sand, just to scare the piss out of the tower guard, before he slowed and came down to a halt while lowering the craft. He came down before the entrance, lowering his ramp, allowing the two their exit.

Draco Virtus would load up on the ramp and hold the side hydraulic cylinder as he held his blaster rifle in the other. Rolling his shoulders under his Mako 03 armour he would watch as the ship began to push off with a blast of speed. The rip of the Hellfire began to let loose as Blaster rifles and pistols began to open up in retaliation as Draco watched the bolts fly past the ship from the backside of the ramp and see them go in every direction. It seemed Raff did a few runs before finally setting them down to the ground. Draco exited and immediately without hesitation began to shoot and move to the far right flank with his blaster rifle. Laying down suppressing fire as he made to the farthest piece of cover. Bolts were flying about as Draco peered over the cover and began to engage two targets trying to push his position.

Throwing his rifle over the top of the cover he would engage the two targets with quick bursts as he managed to snag one pirate in the throat as he toppled over motionless to the ground. His arms folded up instantly and he lay there peacefully with blood pouring out his entry hole. Draco snapped back down as he glanced to his left. The bolts would be snapping over the cover as he counted to himelf slowly. "3..2..1.." he would take a long exhale and jump over the cover and set out a quick burst to the second pirate that was taking cover after his partner was killed by Draco. Draco kept bursting his piece of cover so he could advance without him shooting at him as his quick bursts kept the pirates head down.

Pushing to the other side of the pirates cover he would roll from the side and catch the pirate looking at him behind the cover ina crouched position. Confused the pirate would look at Draco as he layed on his side and fired two bolts into the pirate. Sending the lifeless body toppling against the cover he would continue his push to get into the cave.[

Risho

Risho got onto the ramp on the other side of Draco. Holding onto the hydraulic cylinder next to him tightly. Rauff was evidently quite a skilled pilot, much more so than Risho himself whose skills were average at best. After making a few twists and turns Risho was now face to face with a bunch of armed pirates who had came out to see what the explosions were. Arming a thermal detonator, he ran and leapt off the ramp tossing it into the small crowd of pirates. They scattered quickly in fear. His comrade had gunned several of them down as he went off to the far right flank. Risho himself made his way for the far left flank. Coming into contact with a pirate, Risho acted quickly and let off a burst with his A280 blaster rifle. The pirate dropped down to the floor and Risho slid into cover. He was behind a pretty sturdy rock. Several blaster bolts flew over his head, a few hitting the rock with loud thuds. There was a break in the firing, this was his chance. Risho swung his arms onto the rock, using it to rest his arms on for steadier fire. He looked down his sights, there were a few pirates making their way to the cave. Risho let off a quick burst and one fell flat onto his face. He positioned himself again, firing off more bursts from his rifle. One of the bolts glanced off a pirate’s leg who fell for a second before limping his way into the cave system ahead. Risho crouched back behind his cover, letting his rifle cool down a bit. He peaked back over, the coast was seemingly clear. The pirates had reiterated back into the cave system. He scanned the area a bit more, no one but he and Draco had their boots on the ground. Placing his hand on the rock he leapt over it. Taking some steps towards the entrance, he looked over at Draco and nodded. Pointing his hand into the cave system, telling him to go right. Draco, crouched down and begun to sneak inside, he was taking the caves from the left side. They could flank them and force them to divert their attention on two sides this way. Taking it slowly and checking his corners, making sure no one got the jump on him.

Draco Virtus would push into the cave system. The other rangers were called off to help more important matters as somewhere in Mos Eisley there was a bank robbery with hostages going on. Nodding to the pair for helping him get this far he would level his rifle and continue to work his way into the cave. The light on his back as it was dim but as he got in further it was easier as the contrast of light and dark went away. Small torches lined the cavern wall as he made his way down slowly and carefully.

Hearing voices echo off the walls was annoying to the Ranger as it was hard to pin point an exact location. Rounding the corner he would watch 3 repeated blaster bolts fly past his face from a couple feet and impact the wall next to him. He dove for cover as he was under fire from a few pirates at the end of a hallway in the cave as he growled and peered over the side of his rock cover to see their exact spot.

Keeping his head back down he would retrieve a gas grenade off his side and give it a toss into the hallway as the enclosed quarters made it hard for them to escape except for only two ways. They would begin to start coughing and grabbing their throats as Draco rushed them through the gas. His filter would make him fine as it expelled the toxins. Running full speed he would tackle the pair and quickly level a blaster rifle to the pirates chin as he squeezed the trigger and blew the pirates head off.

Pushing the body away he would glance over as the other pirate in a last ditch effort would try to grab his blaster as Draco stood up and stepped on the pirates hand before sending a bolt into the pirates chest. Quickly he would throw his barrel of his blaster up and push into the backroom of the cave where the last of the pirates are.

Turning the corner he would see about 5-7 of them all held up in fighting positions and had supplies, fuel, food and ammo as they must've been storing gear back there for some time. A tough Zabrak called out "Come on tough guy, you can't take all of us." as they laughed and began to fire towards Dracos position. Draco would think of different strategies all in one as he debated picking them off, using another gas grenade or even retreating.4

Through all of this split second thought he perked eyebrow and mumbled. "What the kark am I even thinkin' for" as he turned quickly and sent a bolt towards one of the fuel cannisters. It only nipped the corner as fuel began to leak out. "Shit." he ducked behind cover as that wasn't the plan. Fuel began to pour out and make a line on the ground being drawn like a river with gravity. Realizing what he was doing one of the pirates pushed ahead to try to get closer.

Draco would turn quickly to see him and duck back as he had to act. Flicking his rifle he would aim at the ceiling and fire rapidly into it over the pirates position as rocks began to fall on him. Nothing big or body crushing but enough to give him a dent in the head as once he threw his hands up in the air to protecy his head, Draco would flick his lighter he used for his cigarras and tossed it on the small river of fuel as it caught and began tor ace quickly towards the fuel cannisters.

"Oh shit i've done it now." he turned around and began to hall ass as seconds later the pirates were yelling and BOOM. The explosion rocked the cave as it began to collapse from the backroom where the pirates were and working its way up to the entrance. Draco was hauling the mail as he didn't look back. The sounds of rock crushing and tumbling as he was sweating like a mad man. Seeing the light of the entrance/exit in the distance as he gave it all he could before going into a dive.4

The dive was just enough to get him out as rocks crumbled feet away from his heels and closed the cave up. Draco would land flat on his face as he slowly layed there and took a deep breath. He would slowly lift himself up as he looked back at the now sealed entrance and let out a sigh. "I don't get paid enough for this shit.." with that he would make his way back to his ship and took off. Getting on the comms back to the station. "Pirates cleared in Sector T2. Reaper 1-1 out.".
