OUTER RIM
“Always remember, your focus determines your reality.”
– Qui-Gon Jinn
Fiach sat in her ship, a modern variant of the old YT-series light freighter. She liked it for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was a common vessel – used by cargo haulers, explorers and pirates alike. She also appreciated the fact that, on first glance, it was nothing special. Under the hood it was state of the art, with as much tech as the Jedi Order could access – but you’d have to take it apart to see all of the upgrades it had received.
What was less obvious was the fact that the newly appointed Knight simply liked it. She’d flown in it a few times as a Padawan and had asked for it to be assigned to her permanently when she’d passed her Trials. Liking was something she was getting used to – as her recent meditations had started to put her in connection with her feelings. She was learning how to lower the defensive wall her mind had put up (with the aid of the Force) to allow her natural emotions to be felt, but without being overwhelmed by those of others.
Oh, and she’d even named the ship, in keeping with the TIE fighter she’d been gifted many years ago.
