As the starlines slowed back into stars, the starfighter angled itself ever so gently as the big blue-green sphere of Corellia took centre stage in its viewport. Despite never being to this part of the galaxy before, Taoré Timarick felt something strangely familliar about it. It felt in its own way, like a home he never knew, which was unsettling considering his mission objective.
He inclined his head and saw a familliar light freighter come out of hyperspace not too far behind him. His Astromech, Arfive, whirred in amazement before opening a hailing frequency to the freighter.

"Would ya look at that: A little slice of paradise. Ironic given what we've been sent to look for." he said, barely hiding his minor snickering. While the fact that they were investigating the ancient spirit of a Dark Jedi that has lived for at least a half dozen millenia, the sereness of the planet always juxtaposed it.

As they flew through the atmosphere, the urban territories did catch his eye, but something was telling him otherwise.

"If I was a dead Darksider, I don't think the urban centres would be a place to be my resting place." He said, though his comment was a fencing statement, waiting for either Matsu or Adonia to respond towards it.

He sighed at the lack of response over the comm frequency. In return, he made the necessary security transfers of Jedi codes to permit landing in the spaceport below. If they were lucky, they would probably find someone, or something, who may know a thing or two. Over the years, he learned any level of suspicious activity could be traced to the scum of the universe; especially when concerning the Sith.

Taoré landed his X-Wing gently into the port and quickly hopped out. Knowing that his ship was a prime target for a thief, he ordered Arfive to stay in case of such an emergency. The droid beeped an acknowledgement before closing down the rest of the ship`s controls.

Taoré reached into the ship`s storage compartment and grabbed his cloak, throwing it over himself and pulling up his hood. After doing so, he barely took three steps before he saw Matsu`s ship overhead coming in for a landing. He began to make his way towards her landing platform as he did, watching a few squatters scurry away as he approached them. He was only average height for a human, but the armour he was wearing, not to mention the mostly black Jedi outfit, made him look like the kind of person you really didn`t want to get in the way of. Since returning to the Jedi ways, he wasn`t quite sure how he felt about having that presence yet, but he disregarded it as he made his way inside and down the corridor towards his companions.

Jeez, when did this place become Mos Eisley? he thought, noting that Corellia had a great reputation, despite the insurrections over the years, but for some reason, everywhere he went, he could feel the very real presence of evil as he walked as people everywhere looked at him like he didn`t belong. It was true, he did not, but this was far more from feeling like a stranger: He could feel them sizing him up and weighing their chances.

It was when he reached the threshold someone decided to make the first move. What immediately caught his ears was that he spoke in Huttese, a language that Taoré knew from years of dealing with people on Nar Shaddaa; however strange because of the planet he was on. The other thing that caught his attention was the barrel of a DL-35 Blastech grazing up against the back of his head.

"<Going somewhere, Outlander?>" He said, a common ploy to direct his captive's movements as he would make the move to take what he had on him. Taoré, never one for liking a blaster pointed at him didn`t even think twice: In rapid succession he spun around so fast that the poor thief, a Twi`Lek no less, didn`t even have time to react as the blaster was yanked from his grasp and now a flung a few feet away from them on the floor. Taoré looked at him dead level with eyes not of anger, but of dry wit, almost saying a joke without doing so. The Twi`Lek did a double take, before looking over at the blaster. As he looked back, Taoré smiled. As he expected, the Twi`Lek dived for the blaster, only to have it be chopped in two as he pointed back at the young Jedi by his quickly drawn lightsaber, the green light flashing into existence with a carving squeal of tearing metal.

<"Jedi?!"> the Twi'Lek said in astonishment and fear. As he said that, the entire corridor emptied out, save for a couple of Rodians trying to get lucky with blasters drawn, but even though they pointed at the Jedi, they were looking at the destroyed blaster whose nozzle was on the floor sliced through, and then back at the lightsaber, idly laying there in the Jedi's grip with a hum.

"I hope this teaches you to know what you're dealing with before you try to rob someone." Taoré said to the Twi`Lek, before turning his attention to the Rodians and raising his hand.

"You really don't want to do this..." he muttered.

<"I really don't want to do this."> They both said together in a daze before putting away their blasters and dazily walking away. While Taoré didn't really need to use the Jedi Mind Trick on them, he didn't want to risk the chance they might try something stupid.

After the two Rodians were gone, he sheathed his lightsaber and gave another stern look at the Twi'Lek, who looked ready to faint, and spun around, walking onto the platform to meet his two companions.

Adonia had recognized that something was wrong, the fact that she was sent on a trivial mission during her training the fact that Matsu followed her so quickly, and the overall silence on the ship, everyone on board looked at her with sad eyes, even the droids seemed distant, they were leaving, and Adonia would not be coming with them.

As they landed on the planet Adonia waited for the presence of her master, would not come, she could feel it, They had been friends for most of their lives, there was not much they could hide from each other. Adonia would have to find a different path, "You will always be my Friend Matsu, never Forget that." AS she stepped off the ramp she turned to watch her friend, fly off without her, instantly she began to cry, falling to her knees sobbing, "Please Matsu, You go where I cannot follow..." She could feel it, she had no idea how attuned to Matsu she was, but she felt it as her Master and friends heart went away from the light, it was a horrible feeling, like a ligament being torn, or the pain right after a sprained ankle, sharp and resonating.

The were more important things at hand, her path had led her hear to this to help Taoré uncover his past, The tribes of Danteel had long believed that the heart of the warrior transcended a simple vessel as a body, Adonia herself was the reincarnation of Darius the first and only Jedi of Danteel, Taoré in some ways was connected to her long past, and she felt it was her calling to help him in this.

Walking down the platform she put her brown hood over her head, to shield her eyes form the considerably bright sun on the system, as she spotted Taoré she could feel the fear he caused in his actions, "And without one life taken, how Jedi of you." she giggled as she passed him surveying the area, he Shadow Cat Audin by her side. "We should stick together, it easy for two padawans no matter how gifted to come of missing in a place like this, where do you suppose we should look?"

Matsu looked at Adonia confused as all hell, she has merely said she would leave the order if her padawan was exiled. It was an injustice on the half of the grandmaster and she could not stand for it, her friend seemed to think she was becoming evil and Matsu spoke with a kind voice as she walked down. "Asonia it is a possible path, one that I will walk only if a grave injustice is preformed against Lamia. You know me and know that I do not make such statements lightly. If you stay don't think ill of me I will always be a servant of the light" Matsu kept walking down as she stood in her bodysuit with the robes on. Her lightsabers were in her pocket and she had her sword and dagger inside the robe not visible. All she had out was her parasol as she walked and observed keeping her face straight and being joined by Serena as she continued forward and looked at Taore and spoke. "Do we have an idea of where we are going padawan?"

"In my experience, if there's anything concerning the Jedi Order, no matter how trivial, you're bound to have some unsavory ears listening in." he responded to the Master, his fringe knowledge kicking in.
He took a step forward out of the terminal hallway, knowing the other two would follow. He lowered his hood gently, his long hair billowing against the breeze. His instincts told otherwise to remain hidden, but he wasn't looking to stick to the shadows for very long. He took a step forward to one of the street merchants, a Rodian female, and spoke with her. She knew fluent enough Basic, and managed to direct him to one of the more unsavory taverns in the spaceport: The Ebon Hawk.
Taoré snorted at the choice of name, knowing well the myths and legends of the Jedi Archives and the days of the Old Republic, but nevertheless entered, his two companions behind him. Despite the cloak, his choice of colour scheme would not normally draw attention, draped in black and more earthy tans and greens; that is of course were the fact his companions, specifically Adonia, were adorned in more traditional Jedi garb, which immediately drew heads.

Stay apart. If they see us together, they might want to continue to crawl back into the walls. he thought, hoping the fact he was stretching out with the Force was enough for at least Matsu to register the reality of the situation.

As he did so, he immediately walked over to the bar and grabbed a Juma. He drank a round, surveying the area with intent. The bar resumed its normal jovial sense of belonging after a moment, but each of its patrons were well aware of the knowledge that a Jedi had entered the premises, a fact that made Taoré sigh in relief: Nobody suspected him to be a Jedi, which might work to his advantage... For now.

Adonia nodded her head as Taoré walked off into a bar, she did stand out with her jedi robes, and she was not exactly the kind of person you would see in a cantinia such as that one, as fierce as Adonia was she had a much more delicate look even with her tribal markings, she would find her own path to what they were seeking. he made note of where Taoré had entered and decided to not stray too far away from that point.

Not too far away from the cantina there was a rather large market, the perfect place to find some leads, all she needed was a costume change, losing the jedi outer robes to to reveal the leather Armour native to he planet, she placed her light saber in a hidden dagger sheath on her back, "Taoré this is Adonia I wone be too far away but I'm going to see what I can dig up, perhaps find a place that no one goes to, superstition in a place this urban should be a dead giveaway for a Sith spirit, even in life they were not exactly patient." Adonia made her way into the market with Audin at her side, who got some attention to a few less than savory characters that she believed to be fur traders.

She spotted a small building that was selling blade weapons from all over the galaxy, she was pleased to see that the owner was for her native planet of Danteel, it was not unheard of ode danteen to trade weapons, but since they only sold blade weapons, they were more known to criminals and soldiers. As she walked up to him he perked up, but as she took off her hood Adonia could feel that he relaxed, "Rare to see the phoenix of Xylona off planet, what can I do for you, a new blade perhaps, fit for only the best warriors." he began to show her various swords and daggers, but was tempting a new blade was she had to concentrate on the task at hand, "Forgive but I am looking for a certain traitor that broke an oath with my father, i need to know if there re any places hide around here, places he would know no one would follow..." The Man wiped the sweat off his face, then sat in his chair behind his counter, "Well besides this hole place being a a hive of scoundrels unbecoming of someone as beautiful as you, there is a certain place, apparently it a the site of an old battle older than the clone war even, folks who go there seldom come back, but I think it just a gang or something it's very common on this planet." Once again the grace of a woman had won, she thanked him for his time and for his trouble bought a vibro dagger, she had not real use of it, but she would send it to her brother would never turned down a good blade. "Taoré this is Adonia do you copy?I think i have a possible lead on what we might be looking for, form what he told me it about five klicks outside the main city, an old battle ground of some sort, ill meet you back at the.....oh dear, Ill meet you outside the bar."

As Adonia exited the shop she found herself and Audin surrounded by the fur traders, the visions she was getting form her loud minds were enough to make her sick. "Well what do we have her, A Danteen far away from home, and the protection of daddy, isn't that how it works?" Adonia laughed, if she had a credit for every time she was under estimated, then she could have bought her on cruiser crusher. " Why don't you let us take that Uth-nukta, and we wont have to slice that pretty face." he said as she stroked her cheek, but before he could finish she had already grabbed his hand and twisted it until he was brought to his knees, she then peacefully kicked him away from her. "I am a women of danteel not a helpless damsel, you would do well to remember that, leave now in peace." The leader looked sorely embarrassed, and the heckling from his friends was not helping the matter, "Kill her, and kill that thing, I want it on the next transport to the hutts!" Adonia stood with her hands behind her back as the five men came at her, the first one simply walked up and started to punch at her, like her feline companion she gracefully dodged out of the way of each strike, at the lest second she tripped him send his face onto one of the stone benches on the planet. Ducking under on of their blades she continued to keep her hand behind her back as she rolled of the next grunt that lunged at her with a dagger, she collapsed the mans knees with a kick then round housed the dagger out of his hand and into the man with the vibro sword, she then layed hands on the one in front of her, knocking him unconscious , "That's three..." she said expressionlessly to the leader who was half afraid but mostly pissed off. the last grunt walked up to her and pointed a gun to her head before it reached her she kicked the weapon out of his hand. just as he went to punch her he was mauled by Audin who pinned him to the ground and began to roar loudly in his face, "That's four..." Adonia replied in a equally expressionless as before. she she turned she could see the fear on the man face, "I'm ready if you are..." just as she said that the leader turned and ran, pushing his way through the crowds, "Audin release him..." the last grunt picked himself up and ran after his leader, "hey boss wait up!"

Adonia began to speak to her companions trough the force, "On my way to the Cantina, this place isn't so bad, once you do a little house keeping."

Matsu moved in the cantina as Taoré and Adonia went off. She was looking for a place a dark jedi would hide. On Corellia that was a lot of area and wilderness the small communities with landscape between them and large shipyards. Slowly she sat at the bar and just listened breathing in the life and reaching out with the force as she scoured the minds and was looking for secluded areas like caves. Matsu grinned there was a few caves the locals didn't go into and avoided. It was as good a place as any to start and Matsu didn't get up yet, she still had a drink as she sipped at it and listened. Ebberla had taught her much and this being her friends homeworld she wanted to try and take in the culture. When the drink finished Matsu stood and slipped out of the cantina seeing Adonia in the back of her mind getting into well a situation but she knew her padawan could handle it. As Matsu moved she went towards the mountains and heard Adonia as she responded. "No it is rather peaceful, there are caves some of the locals were thinking about. I am going to send Rk-O7 and Fey to explore them. I'll meet up with you two in a bit." Matsu kept walking as she reopened her parasol and walked in the hills. She directed the droids into the caves while she walked and continued to look around for another series someone could hide. At times like this she wished she had paid more attention but dark jedi spirit and help was all she needed to hear from Adonia to come. Matsu ended her walk as she stood atop a hill and looked out upon the community they had been in while the wind danced and she looked out focusing and sensing with the force for anything out of the ordinary.

As he suspected, it barely took a few minutes for Taoré to hear something come up. He heard Adonia on the comm device and watched Matsu take off. He pieced together that the more leads they could find the better, but they still needed something, or someone, concrete to corraborate the suspicion.

After a moment, he got his wish: a few prospect miners, all human and rather unsavory, were greeted at the back of the bar by a Deveronian and a Zabrak, their mutual horned heads not hard to spot in his periphererial vision. Taoré ordered another round for himself and listened in, keeping very careful to not look suspicious.

<"Word has reached our ears that you have found something useful in our cause."> said the Zabrak, speaking in his native tongue, Irodonian, another language the young Jedi knew very well.

"Well I wouldn't call it useful, Lorik, but certainly a find." said the one prospector, his ragged beard giving him a haggard look that betrayed his tone of voice, which was much more savvy.

Silently and slowly, Taore switched on his communicator, and leaned its long range microphone in their direction, making sure that Matsu and Adonia were catching every word.

"Then why would you be wasting our time if it was not? You know the rule of such useless gatherings to take place." said the Deveronian in Basic, his tone of voice gruff and strangely hollow.

"Well it's something for you Kanno cultists to look into, not my field of expertise. All I know is that it could fetch a lot of credits, much more than the GA twits in charge of this expedition." said the prospector and pulled out a holorecord of a mysterious looking artifact that from Taore's perspective of Sith origin, but far older than anything ever on record.
The two cultists, as the prospector pointed out took what they saw in before responding, the Zabrak talking.

<"Your alliegances will be handsomly paid for in service to the Cult of Kanno. With this information, we might finally be able to place a stake into this ongoing war.">

"Not to mention the Jedi AND the Sith alike won't even know what hit them. Where can we find this?" The Deveronian asked.

The prospector instructed them that they were in the Corellian alps, deeply buried under a ton of rubble that had accumulated over the millenia. However there would be GA security all over the place and tough to sneak in. At that notion, Taore switched his mic off and paid for his tab before leaving.

"You guys got that, right?" he asked, placing a finger to his earpiece as he was safely away from the cantina.

Adonia met Taoré as he exited the cantina, "yes I t would seem we have three sources pointing in the same direction, which is either a real stroke of luck, or well placed trap, on either occasion we should make our approach to the area slowly, we are after the truth not a gang of brigands." said Adonia as she looked around keeping a close eye on the surrounding, and keeping tabs on the emotions flooded the area. "The GA being involved might work to our favor, if we play our cards right."

AS she continued her conversation with Taoré she looked around the area for Matsu who she had not seen since they split up. "What do you suggest Taoré?"

Matsu looked down from her hill as she spoke through the force for Adonia and Taoré. "I am outside the town, the droids are exploring a cave the locals were talking about, do we have any other clues?" She didn't move just kept the sun out of her eyes with the parasol as she reached out to sense anything strange around them.

[[short I know and sorry but this is story driven from you my man I don't want to take away from his discovery... also I like Darius don't truly know what we are looking for.]]

Taoré looked at Adonia then after a moment, said while pressing his comm device so Matsu could hear the conversation.

"Members of the GA being there might allow us access, but it depends on who is in charge: The Jedi being in charge of the military operations in this time of war has certainly miffed all other divisions of government, especially on Corellia. I've never been here personally, but having dealt with quite a handful of Corellians myself, they're a proud people. And Adonia, in my experience, there's no such thing as luck. But we better move if we're going to hit off those prospectors and nab them before they get back to the mountains to steal that artifact." he said, pulling Adonia aside a split second later to watch the two prospectors leave the Cantina and head for their speeders.

Adonia laughed at the words of Taoré, it was funny as he was making a good point then he just went off grid to comment on her use of the word luck. "And I'm the philosophizer." She said quietly as the two contractors pass, "I was were pointing out that things seem to be falling into place rather easily, enough for me to think that we were meant to be on this trail, weather by fate, or Et'git Mal" Adonia looked forward to the prospectors' target, closing her eyes she concentrated and pulled lose of wires and tubes, it would not be enough to disable them right away, but far enough away that they would not be able to call for help, or for it to arrive in time. "The Devils' Luck." It meant that someones ill will was driving the current situation, they would do well to remember that fact.

"I suppose we should get moving, those wires will only hold for about five miles out of the city." Adonia attached the bag holding her things to the harness on Audin, She prepared to make the run to reach the intercept point.

Matsu listened as she moved and felt Adonia with a grin. She jumped into the air and flew higher until she could see Adonia and came near to her. Matsu stayed in the air and had her parasol on a sheath inside her robe while and spoke. "The droids are still searching, It sounds as if you two learned something improtant. Fill me in on the way." Matsu kept flying as she offered her arms should they want to bypass the hills and make haste. She didn't know where they were going but that could be easily changed as she spoke more. "You both have everything you needed from the ship correct?"

"I'll be fine, just gonna need something first." He said into his intercomm as he saw a nearby speeder bike rental service. After an initial debacle with the droid, Taore was forced to pull rank and took one of the bikes before riding off to catch up with Adonia.

As if the Force was not without a sense of humor, his timing could not be better, a few moments outside of the town limits, he felt a sudden thud on the back of the bike. Matsu. Even a Jedi Master couldn't stay airborne like that forever.

"Nice of you to drop in, Master." he said with a smirk, before slowing down his pace as Adonia kept pace with them.

"Adonia, you got a fix on their trail? Looks like a storm's coming in soon and we better get to the pass by nightfall or we'll be far behind them." he asked, knowing their scanners wouldn't survive the storm if they stayed out wandering too long.

Matsu looked at Teore and gave a nod as she listened and looked forward. The storm would provide cover if they had to sneak and in a pinch she could raise some mist and lightning to really mess with things. Slowly Matsu kneeled down and focused on her breathing as she prepared herself and expanded her senses to take in the terrain. "Everythign shall be well, the force will guide us padawan."

"Their frustration is enough for me to keep a lock on them, can you feel it? I think we might have made them them a bit late, Audin use the fog keep them preoccupied." her pet was clearly faster then her, Adonia watched as the animal blended the light around him and disappeared into the fog, "He will wait for your mark Taoré."

Adonia caught up to Taoré on his speeder, she would stick close to him until they got closer to the location of workers, she would then break off to the right and positioned herself on the perimeter on the opposite side of her pet. "East to west is covered...lets get their communications while they are still distorted by the storm."
