BIOGRAPHY
The fourth child of the Lord Andronikas Tannaras, Junia’s life should’ve been one of pampered privilege. Indeed, compared to the often neglected common people of her homeworld, Junia didn’t have to spend her nights worrying about such concerns as to whether or not she’d get to take lifesaving medicine, or eat that week. However, the life of a noble girl didn’t come without its own stresses and challenges.
Being the youngest child in her extended family, Junia didn’t receive the same hands-on parenting her father had provided for her brother, or her mother had provided for her eldest sister. Both were by the time of her birth entirely engrossed in their duties as the heads of one of Brentaal’s most powerful noble families, so the girl was raised instead by a host of caretaker droids, private tutors, and instructors in the various talents that a girl of her stature was supposed to excel in, that being the arts and diplomacy– which she proved middling at in both.
Rarely in her life did Junia leave her family’s massive palace, and her social life was almost nonexistent as she entered her teen years. Unlike her older brother, who spent most of his free time partying, or her older sister Julia, whose blossoming career as a poet allowed her to meet all sorts of interesting people, Junia’s freetime was spent inside, on her datapad, with unrestricted access to the holonet and the people on it. It didn’t take her long before she encountered images and articles of the president of the ISC– and the girl would, very easily, find a subject to pour her passion into.
The isolated and impressionable young woman was welcomed into a community where the only requirement was to demonstrate complete and utter devotion to a stranger who’d never meet them, and in this, the girl proved to be the second most terminally online, chronically obsessed fan in the galaxy. Nonetheless, where the girl once felt invisible and alone, wandering the halls of a massive palace, in which the only ones who paid her any attention were programmed to, Junia found constant attention, praise, and respect. Spending dozens of hours every week cataloging everything the president did and helping to share them with billions of other fans, Junia, in her own way, did what her family had been doing for six millennia: influencing the lives of countless multitudes with mixed results.
PERSONALITY
If one were to distill the essence of “fandom” into a single person, Junia Tannaras, or someone very similar to her, would be the result. On her own Junia is a quiet, reserved, and intensely socially awkward young woman with very little understanding of how life in the “real world” is supposed to operate. Very rarely will the girl be able to go a few minutes in a conversation without bringing up the president in some fashion, and when the man isn’t the subject of one she completely withdraws from it. Most of her family has very abstract goals– her father just wants to “do his duty” and be able to retire and be left alone, her brother wants to “have fun,” her older sisters each want to invest in their passions and crafts.
Julia’s goal is to marry the President as soon as possible.
