Coruscant,
Coruscant system,
Core Worlds

Amerath Candroon, who has just recovered from a terrible sternum injury, is wandering about the more quieter streets of Coruscant. Recently, in the pas through weeks, a lot has happened and he is just taking a walk to clear his mind. Especially after having killed many people, he has learnt that killing isn't always the answer - he must only do it if necessary.
His hand is hovering right over his pistol at all times just in case something is to happen. His name has been spreading around the underworld of the Republic and maybe even the Republic and Jedi Order itself. Having only been there for about two months, he is really making his name more popular - but not in a good way.
Amerath doesn't know it but he has now gotten a bounty on his head dead or alive. Danger could be lurking around each corner and he doesn't even know it. However, he's always prepared for danger in any shape or size...

OOC: Thanks for putting it up so quick

It was a day like any other. Lara Night awoke in a strange hotel room, strange because it was an alley because Lara was poor. It had been a long frigid time for Lara where the bounty of countless worlds could not be gathered. This was sadly due to the fact that she was tragically addicted to the Space Opera, Star Peace, which depicted an endless non-war between the pacifist Mith and the even more pacifist Redi. Lara was into her fifth season when Barth Jada was going to give his big reveal when she was cut off. Shouting tragically into the night that "This can't be possible" Lara found it was quite possible and also that she really hated sand for some reason.

Out on the cold streets without a serialized fictional life to escape into, the bounty hunter had to face the cold fact that she was going to have to do something cool like track down a killer, or a sexual predator, or maybe even a sexual herbivore. Sighing Lara activated her wristpad and began swiping through possible guild bounties. Moving through faces, Lara began to swipe left and right as if it was the new Mimeder app all the kids were using. Rather than picking hot or not mimes this was her deciding which attractive people she wanted to face smash.

At last deciding, Lara sounded out the name,

"Amerath Candroon. It sounds like name I shouldn't forget."

Nodding to herself Lara quickly caught the first bit of public transportation to use the library as she was poor now and had to use public utilities like a tool. Moving to the public terminal, Lara resisted the urge to draw a butt in the paint program and instead did a bit of research. Amerath had a bit of a record, but he was either small time or frequently changed him name. Either was he was an unknown and that made him dangerous like a piece of soggy toast if that was dangerous.

Satisfied she put a blip out on the Bounty Hunter Guild Buttbook page. That would hopefully summon some backup. Then she drew a butt.

Moving through the streets of Coruscant, Lara got a bump on Buttbook with a cryptic hint as to the whereabouts of her mark. Looking over it the bounty huntress squinted and read this enigma of a tip out loud.

"He is on Coruscant"

What could it mean?

"Drytas, just take the damn medication you insufferable iguana,"

Aska sat at the table in the cantina with her hand grasped around her drink, staring at her partner with an annoyed glare. The Trandoshan, still suffering from his wounds he had received on Haruun Kal, grimaced in pain as he leaned back against the wall of their booth. Though Trandoshan's heal quickly, he was still a far way from recovery and his pride was getting in the way of it being accelerated.

"I don't need them. I am fine. Just drink your damn rum, you alcoholic," he hissed as he attempted to deny reality once again. With a roll of her eyes, Aska did exactly as was commanded of her. The cup soon was empty and slammed against the table before she motioned to the server droid that she required a refill. It was only then that her datapad came to life, displaying a small light that indicated a member of the guild was local and searching for assistance. Before opening it, she turned her attention back to the Trandoshan, of whom had also taken notice of the flashing mini computer.

"No. No way. Whatever this is, your not coming. You can stay here, you can go back to the ship, or you can even go get some freaking professional help, but there is no way in hell I am bringing you with me this time," she snapped before opening the message. Reading it over slowly, pausing only to accept the drink the droid had arrived with and take a small sip, her lip's moved as she read. "Amerath Candroon, huh? Sounds like a punk," she whispered before standing and slamming the remainder of the new beverage. "Change of plans. I'm setting up a rendezvous with this Hunter, and your going to try and dig up any information on this guy that you can. If you can, anyway,"

"And if I choose to ignore you?"

"Then your arm and your hip aren't going to be the only things in pain, you dummy," she said snidely before turning to the exit of the establishment. As she walked, she transmitted the co-ordinates of the meeting place. A busy promenade on the upper levels would suffice.

Amerath continues walking along with him whistling a few tunes - some commonly known and some uncommonly known. He has decided to change his route and actually go somewhere: the local pub. A place where he can calmly relax and spend his last few credits on an enjoyable drink. That is, of course, if he can avoid his common habit of walking into trouble.

After a few minutes of heading the right direction, Amerath turns round a corner and comes face to face with his destination. He then walks in through the doors to be greeted by a fairly busy atmosphere. Half of the people here look fine. Amerath is surprised that he actually searched for such a thing as he'd normally put up with whatever crowd surrounded him.
He then turns and begins walking to the bad. "One Corellian Ale please."
The bartender nods and then turns to pick up the glass. He puts it right underneath the tap which he then uses to pour The ale in. After having finished, he passes the glass to Amerah and says, "3 Republic Credits please."
Within almost an instant, Amerath passes over the money before taking the glass to a table right next to the window. He then gradually sips from the glass whilst looking outside at the window. However, something catches his eye - a poster on a lamp-post. He gets up onto his feet and, leaving his drink where it is, jogs hurriedly to the poster. After arriving, he takes one final look to make sure his eyes aren't playing any tricks on him.
"Oh shit."
It is a board of people with bounties on their head. One of them reads AMERATH CANDROON - WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE.

Lara was wandering the mean streets of Coruscant aimlessly. Her aim was to find something to aim at that would earn her a meal and not a prison sentence. This Amerath was her ticket to an all you can eat buffet of money. If the bounty huntress wanted to eat the money, which is chemically and financially not the most effective use of that resource. During her movements and odd thoughts, Lara nearly missed the jiggle of her wristpad as a notification came up. She figured it was someone asking her to play some stupid app, but oddly enough this was a notification having to do with her bounty situation. Lara wondered if her wristpad was reading her mind, but this was not the case. Her wristpad had in fact long ago taken over her mind which was why she bought so many screen cleaning products.

Shaking her head, Lara realized this other guild member wanted to meet up and talk about the Amerath situation. The coordinates led Lara to a lovely little club called 'Les Petits Banana' which meant 'All Mandolorians Must Die' in the local dialect. Happy to be about, the bounty huntress sent a missive to her partner to be using plenty of emojis to show she had in fact arrived and was very smiley face face with sunglasses crying laughing face about it.

Moving inside, Lara found a seat overlooking a lovely view of endless corporate overreach and untenable capitalist production. Assuring herself that communism would one day prevail, the young lady sat back and ordered a water because she was poor. Unfortunately this was one of 'those' clubs and the water cost 50 credits. Sad face.

Once the taxi came to stop at the landing pad nearest the selected cantina, the huntress stepped out of the speeder and dropped a few credits down on the seat with a smile towards the alien driver before he took off in search of his next fare. She turned to face the street and the overwhelming population and started towards her destination. Aska pushed and nudged her way through the crowd, stopping only for a moment to watch the bickering between a disgruntled customer and the shop owner over a bad child's communicator. As the crowd surged down the street with the civilians all rushing home from work, it wasn't hard to migrate with them to her destination. Her mind continued to flee back to her Trandoshan friend and his well-being, wondering how much longer it would be before he would be healed and able to return to work at her side. But she had business to attend to, and the beeping from her datapad ripped her from her train of thought. Upon reading the reply, Aska hung her head.

"Of course I would get the damn weird, crazy one. Go figure," she whispered with a sigh before coming up to the cantina entrance. "Well, here goes nothing I suppose,"

The bar was full of every species Aska could identify, and countless more she couldn't. No matter how many times she visited Coruscant, the merging of many trade routes and aliens that come with them would always confound and mystify the woman. One day, she hoped, she could name off the different species before her and describe their home worlds from seeing them first hand. As she surveyed the crowd, her attention was drawn towards a woman gazing out a window at the scenery below with a glass of...

"Water?? Who orders water at a bar??" she asked herself. "Unless she's someone trying to keep her wits about her before she kills someone, that is,"

Aska slid in to the seat opposite the woman and smiled before she placed a couple credit chips on the table. The waitress arrived at the sight of the money and gave a polite smile of her own before pulling her pen from her pocket.

"What's your poison today, ma'am?"

"Surprise me," Aska replied to the woman, who left the retrieve her beverage. Now turning her attention to the woman she sat with, she placed both hands on the table and interlocked her fingers, leaning forward slightly.

"I'm sorry, but you look oddly familiar. I think we have a mutual acquaintance. Does the name Amerath Candroon mean anything to you?"

Amerath sighs. Surely he mustn't be the first to know about this as there's a - to his disappointment - bounty hunters are aware of this. He briefly looks side to side to scan his surroundings to make sure it is clear. To his luck no one is paying attention to him.
"Why can't I just have a break?" sighs Amerath who takes down the board and throws it in the nearby bin - an act many would be suspicious about.
After having taken care of that, Amerath - who still feels worried - returns to the pub. Once again he orders a drink and pays up. Hopefully the drink will help him take his mind off the whole bounty hunter business. He returns to the tables he was sat at earlier due to how all the other ones are taken up. Just like earlier, after sittings own he starts sipping his drink whilst looking out of the window. The lamp post is in sight and it may have looked odd with him having taken it down and he wouldn't be surprised if someone noticed it.

Lara saw a woman walk across the room with a silent singular purpose one has when looking for a bathroom in a library. She was tough looking, like a piece of dried meat but prettier and arguably not as tasty. She took a seat and was immediately set upon by the same waiter who had served her, or perhaps it was his polite identical brother because his attitude and the clubs prices completely changed when speaking to her. Miffed at this discrimination against people with no money, the huntress nearly missed the young woman's clever little introduction. Smirking, Lara sipped her slightly over priced water and looked out over the ever changing landscape of gradient gray. Out there upon a lamppost was a sign, wanted dead or alive. How ironic he'd make an appearance so close, even in ink.

"Well that's the 25,000 credit question isn't it?"

Looking at the woman she noted that neither of them were brute force kinda gals, but Lara knew this particular guild member had earned her keep. Looking into the throngs at the bar filled with all manner of species, walk of life, Sith, Jedi, Mandolorian, smuggler, royalty, and so on. There was something quietly overwhelming about the prospect of finding a microscopic needle in an endlessly expanding haystack. Still people did it everyday. Somehow the universe and it's denizens always found a way.

"We've got some hunting to do I figure if we're going to find our mutual fiend while we're young."

Lara gulped her water down and slammed it on the bar leading to some cheers from some overly drunken customers who thought it was alcohol. Laughing a little Lara decided to point out the earlier irony pointing toward the wanted poster, but mid sentence realizing she was pointing to nothing at all. Pausing, her lips pursed, Lara looked back at her fellow hunter and said,

"I think they might have put something in this water, because I was sure there was a wanted poster for our guy right outside."

((Sorry about the delay! I forgot I was up X( ))

"Well that's the 25,000 credit question isn't it?"

Aska smirked and leaned back in her seat, her drink being placed directly before her at the table by the returning server. Both women remained silent as the working civilian was in their presence, allowing her a moment to gaze out the window and watch as a disturbed looking man plucked a poster from the light post outside and tossed it into the near by garbage bin. For one odd reason or another, she continued to watch the man as he slowly sauntered back into the cantina, ordered a drink and plopped down at an empty table. Finally, Lara began to speak once again, mentioning the exact same poster that had just been thrown away. Aska's eyes shot wide, and shot a glare towards the man sitting at the table, unaware of her burning gaze. "No... I don't think your drugged at all. Excuse me a moment," The huntress stood and walked out of the bar without another word before darting over to the trash can. She reached in and plucked the crumpled paper from it's grave before flattening it out and reading through it. Indeed, it was a list of bounties, and right there before her eyes was the name.

AMERATH CANDROON - WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE

"For real? No... That's too good to be true... Isn't it?" Aska questioned herself. Such a coincidence seemed nearly impossible, but many things she considered impossible had been proven wrong in the recent months, so why should this be any different? This man had to be one of the few listed on the poster or at least knew one of them, so it was a start. She spun and returned to the bar as she moved to adjust her blasters to their stun setting while they remained holstered. Once inside, she made eye contact with her confused partner and motioned towards the man sitting alone. She made her way to his table, keeping the bounties list tightly gripped in her hands as she sat down directly beside the man.

"Why the long face? You look like you just found out your mother died... Or that you have a bounty on your head," Aska did her best to look like she hadn't been prodding and had in fact been speaking sincerely. "Why don't I let you buy me a drink and you can tell me what's buggin' ya,"

"Aye?" says Amerath as he firsts hear the lady behind him talk to him.
"You look like you just found out your mother died..." she begins.
"This ain't 30 years ago", mumbles Amerath who can't be bothered to argue about his mother's death. There were many things that confused him about it for some odd reason.
" Or that you have a bounty on your head."
After a few moments of trying to process the question, Amerath suddenly realises. How does she know about the bounty? Could she be a bounty hunter herself? Amerath turns around to look at the face of the lady who has been talking to him - he feels as he should know who is talking to him.
"Why don't I let you buy me a drink and you can tell me what's buggin' ya?" she offers to Amerath.
However, Amerath knows/realises she's up to something. Why else would she offer to help him out and point out he has a bounty on his head? He has no doubt she's up to something. Amerath sighs almost silently. He doesn't want to get involved in this type of trouble but it appears he's no choice.

Before jumping to a conclusion which could possibly get him into some sort of trouble, Amerath thinks this through. He wants to stay out of trouble but it appears it is looking him straight in the face. "I'm sure I want to be left alone, thank you", replies Amerath who returns to gradually drinking his drink. He keeps his hand hovering near his gun and keeps the lady in the corner of his eye just in case trouble does come towards him. "You know when there's some things you want to sort out by yourself."

Lara found solace in the brief silence between the two bounty huntresses. She'd been on a few jobs with others and their propensity to share usually didn't extend beyond the final payout. With the woman's smirk at Lara's joke and the quiet after the two had shared a moment. This moment was brief however as Lara's old frenemy coincidence had reared its ugly head. Oddly enough that ugly head was gorgeous. He looked just like Tom Cruise, Lara didn't know what that meant, but long long in the future in a galaxy far far away a man would be born who would jump on a couch on a daytime talk show. It would be glorious.

When Aska motioned to this gorgeous, beautiful, attractive, and also kinda cute man, the huntress couldn't focus on his dimples and perfect shoulder height to neck ratio. No, instead she had to cover the exits. So many exits. Weird that there were also a lot of entrances, the exact same number actually. Still the huntress had to think like someone desperate, which she was a lot so it wasn't too hard. Windows could be smashed through, hostages could be taken, speeders could be hijacked. Pretty much anything Tom Cruise has done could happen in the next few moments. Force help them if he found a couch.

Lara centered herself and picked a spot behind the bar making sure to motion to Aska subtly. She was prepared to intercept their soon to be acquisition if he attempted to flee, but the press of drinkers and dancers would make the attempt difficult. Still if it meant she had a chance to tackle that top gun hunk, she would be Aska's wingman anyday.

Lara was prepared to make Amerath's escape attempt an impossible mission, mission impossible if you will. She simply had to hold him for a few hours, the edge of tomorrow, until they could deposit their find for the credits she/they so desperately needed.

"The Last Samurai" Lara muttered for no reason as she kept her hand close to her gun primed and ready to cause some Collateral damage.

Aska smirked at the man's comment, but she was not deterred. Instead, she leaned forward and slid the poster foreward with her left hand, and rested her right hand on the butt of her pistol then discreetly unclipping it from the holster and drawing it to be pointed at the man's midsection from under the table. She pulled the other hand back and rested her chin in her palm, watching the man's reaction with a coy smile.

"Look, I'm gonna drop the scherade then. You plucked this poster off the light post outside and tossed it out. Why?" She glanced back towards her partner who had taken a position behind the bar, but still able to quickly pursue him should he run and gave her a quick wink. Aska's hairs on the back of her neck were beginning to stand on end, an anxious feeling softly sweeping over her as she spoke to the man. In the pit of her stomache, she had a feeling things were about to go south and readied her pistol while retightening her grip. As her finger hovered over the trigger, awaiting any sort of sudden move, her left leg moved away from the table should she require to stand in an instant.

Amerath, receiving the response he partially expected yet did not want, looks at what she has to show him. It is the poster Amerath had taken down before returning it to the place it belonged - the bin. However, Amerath is taken slightly by surprise as she pulls out her pistol ad points it at him from underneath the table.
Amerath sighs and shakes his head. The other bounty hunter, who had stared at Amerath, seemed to be up to something. Amerath did his best to keep her in the corner of his eye as often as he could.
"Look, I'm gonna drop the scherade then. You plucked this poster off the light post outside and tossed it out. Why?"

Amerath replies whilst trying to think of what to do, "Well this is seemingly a peaceful part of Coruscant. Why ruin it by having bounty hunter posts around here?"
Amerath finally comes to conclusion. "F*** it", he mutters underneath his breath before swiftly bringing his knee up. His knee manages to knock her pistol up and not aiming at him. He then, using his hand hovering over the pistol, grabs his pistol out. He then stands up quickly and kicks back his chair, giving him space. He aims his pistol at the bounty hunter.
"Now listen", explains Amerath who is trying to sound as reasonable, yet partially threatening, as possible. "I don't want any trouble. But if you're gonna give it to me I ain't afraid to fight back. And trust me... I ain't the type of guy you wanna enemy with."

Everything was going so well. They had amazingly found their perp right where they were doing their initial meeting and had easily surrounded him before he could make a run for it. Unfortunately their plan hardly involved a fight response as opposed to a flight response. As the tables were turned with a simple 'F*** it' her companion datapad came to life. In these situations she had her pad set to words to speech and high volume as the music was blaring. That music came to a halt as the drawn blasters became clear as day just in time for the message from the bounty hunter guild to blare through the now silent anticipating space,

"Update on the bounty of Amerath Candroon. His bounty has been raised to 40,000 Credits. Status desired: DEAD."

Dead. That word hung like so many dead men. Worse the talk of 40,000 credits was stirring all the low lifes around them. Blasters were drawn, knives unsheathed, then there was the distinctive crackle of a lightsaber. This was not going to be a fight in their favor and Lara did not play that game. A traditionally sore loser, Lara had perfected a series of techniques that prevented lose, but usually ended friendships. It was in this moment that one of those techniques would prevent the loss of a friend, or rather work acquaintance who seemed quite amenable.

"Aska ears!" she shouted as she tossed all of her smoke screamers throughout the bar and immediately ran for the exit. She narrowly escaped the blast of pure screeching sound that began to crackle the windows. Within a few moments the windows exploded outward in spectacular fashion glass clattering upon the ground like hail. Turning to the exit, Lara burst onto the street and turned her blaster to the door. People screamed and rushed out and so she was not caught in the flood, the bounty huntress ran to the alley behind the building now covered in broken glass and many many open windows. Her smoke screamers had ceased now after filling up the bar with smoke. Fire fighting systems had been deployed and a thick foam had coated the interior and all inside.

"Amerath, Aska!" she shouted, aiming her sights at the many moving indistinct blobs of white goo.

This wasn't the best plan in the world, but she could think of a few worse ones.

As Amerath's knee knocked the tip of her blaster back, along with the table they sat at, Aska stood up and to the left while her free hand snapped the second weapon holstered at her side. By the time the table hit the ground, she found herself in a stand off with her mark.

"Now listen. I don't want any trouble. But if you're gonna give it to me I ain't afraid to fight back. And trust me... I ain't the type of guy you wanna enemy with."

As the man spoke, Aska tightened her grip on the dual pistols trained on the man and gritted her teeth. She missed Drytas more so now than ever. The sight of a menacing Trandoshan lurking at your shoulders would typically end such a situation but that was not her luck. She remained unaware to the men and women around her arming themselves as the scuffle broke out, but considering they were in a high end Coruscant cantina, such a crowd was a rare occurrence.

"There doesn't need to be any fighting, dude. Just drop the damn guns and come with us. Your wanted alive, so you can talk it out with whoever decided your worth so many credits,"

A moment of silence followed, but it was broken by the cry of her name and the sudden screaming of Lara's grenade filled the room, accompanied by the enveloping smoke. Unable to see Amerath in the mayhem, Aska staggered forward as her ears ached from the high pitched noise. No sooner had she sat behind the bar did the blaster fire begin. Hailfire rained above her as she rubbed her ears in an attempt to sooth the pain, and once her hearing had begun to straighten out she had heard Lara calling her and Amerath's name.

"You really think he's still here? You just helped him escape!" she screamed with tears in her eyes. "What the hell was that?!"

Amerath's plan has appeared to backfire on him. Now the bounty huntress has pulled out another gun on him. Now a crowd was forming around the scene as, of course, it is not a sight you'd see every day.
Before Amerath can respond to both the bounty huntress and the crowd, the other bounty huntress shouts something Amerath does not catch. Some smoked screeners landed right near them and suddenly smoke erupted from them along with a deafening screech. Amerath swears as his ears start aching but sees this an opportunity to escape.
He kicks back the other bounty huntress and, whilst hiding within the fleeing crowd, manages to get out of the building hopefully undetected by his hunters.
Once he is outside he hears the call of his name. Realising this must be one of the bounty huntresses, Amerath runs over to the bin before diving behind it so he is in cover. Next he hears an angry and sad scream from one of the huntreses: "You just helped him escape! What the hell was that for?"
Amerath smirks and stays hiding. They must think he's gone and will soon go out looking for him. All he has to do is stay there before they're gone.

So she lost their mark after he was clearly surrounded, possibly hurt her partner who she was already becoming bff's forever with, and did trememndous damage to a most likely uninsured local business causing it to got out of business to be replaced by a soluless chain cantina. So as it turned out, this was the worst plan ever. Judgement was never one of Lara's strong suits, she was more often the one being judged by her peers, criminal judges, and singing competition celebrities. Now she was being judged incompotent and it stung more grieviously than any wound she'd ever received. Lara thought she was protecting her partner and that the loud noise would at least disorient him. As it happened not all was lost, least of which was one Amerath Candroon.

For as fire suppressing foam filled the building many patrons and would-be bounty hunters fled all covered in varying layers of white ****. They formed a fairly even line and Lara was quite amused by the parade of white creatures until she noted a single line not far from where she was in the alley. Unlike the shuffling lines of white the others were forming, this one was tenuously thin as if created by sprinting and a great leap. Moving slowly towards the area whre it ended, Lara hoped to get the jump on a hopefully hidden Amerath, but alas she ran into yet another problem of her own creation. Stepping lightly she heard the delicate crunch of glass as her foot came to rest in front of a massive metal garbage bin.

Understanding her exposed legs and loud noise had betrayed her, Lara swept down quickly and grabbed a still intact piece of glass. Throwing it as hard as she could at the wall behind the bin she watched it shatter hopefully scattering in sharp pieces all over her mark. Producing her sub-repeating blaster she took a leap of faith much like the evasive Amerath had done,

"Aska I got him!"

whether she had him he had her was a question that hung upon a few slight percentages ever shifting in either parties favor.

"Out Amerath, with your hands up!" her voice was commanding and sure, which was weird cause that's the exact opposite of how she felt. Ultimately this could be some poor scared homeless guy, but she had a gut feeling. Hell if Amerath were to pop up with a well placed shot, she would have a very different gut feeling and then very likely no feeling at all,at least below the waist.

As she waited that disembodied voice hung over her like a shadow, STATUS CHANGED, DEAD

DEAD

DEAD

It saddned her, but as Diva said, this was not a man, this was an aquisition. Steadying her hand ready to fire at the first sign of trouble, Lara prepared to acquire her mark, one way or another.

The chaos of the cantina surrounded Aska as she kneeled on the ground waiting for the effect of the screamer to pass, soon being able to stagger out the entrance as tears streamed down her face, though these were of a fit of extreme rage. If not for the guild policies against attacking other members, she would have broken Lara's legs and stuffed a Dagobian butcherbug down her open mouth but these days she would have to find a release in another way... Not that it would be a hard decision as Coruscant was busting at the seams with spice. As she entered the street and her hearing began to return to normal, she scanned the crowd and saw Lara running down a back alley.

"Hm. Maybe she isn't the worst partner after all," she retorted before sprinting after her. It wasn't long that she suddenly heard her companions call, and rounded the corner to see her holding her rifle too a dumpster. With her pistol aimed at the same bin, she walked up slowly.

"Smooth Skin, Guild Mistress Diva has sent word of your target. They don't want his heart beating anymore... 40,000 for his corpse,"

As Drytas' voice rang through her ear piece, a small smile began to curl around the edges of her lips. Quickly, she flipped the weapon back to lethal force with a flick of her thumb, and arrived at the bin. Leaving a few meters between her and Lara, but not so much to prevent them from leaping on a fleeing target, she also plucked a knife from her pocket and held it firmly in her left hand.

"Alright, Amerath. Last chance. Come out, and surrender. Or else we need to start breaking limbs," She knew her bounty wasn't aware of the update on his acquisition and should believe they would be bringing him in alive as she had mentioned. Aska and Lara were the only ones who knew otherwise...

Amerath curses underneath his breath so quietly he can barely hear it. Although he still thinks he is wanted alive Amerath still isn't up for giving himself to them. After all he is a living being and not some trading card to be swapped with other people.
His instincts and judgement tell him they'd be ready to immediately fire at him if he came out threateningly and this is, to his misfortune, to be more off strategic outcome.

If he can remember correctly the two bounty hunters are only a few steps away from the bin at the maximum. This can be used to Amerath's advantage.
"Alright, Amerath. Last chance. Come out and surrender. Or else we need to start breaking limbs here."
'What a fool', thinks Amerath. Now he can tell roughly where she is.
Now or never. Amerath then grabs the bin and throws it, with power, at the bounty huntress who had just threatened him. Whilst he does this, he notices the other bounty huntress and the moment the bin releases his grip aims his pistol at her. He gets ready for anything and is tilted slightly so he can easily dive over to the side. "Not today", says Amerath rather cockily.

It wasn't long before Aska was by her side backing her up for the inveitable confrontation. She had a lump of fire suppresant on her left shoulder that looked vaguely like a parrot. Lara made a mental note to laugh hysterically about that later, but right now she had to kill some fellow for a bit of cash. Funny to think a life could be valued so stoically, plain faced and cruel. Most lives weren't valued at all, tossed away with the flick of a wrist. Lara knew too many lives like that. Ugly, brutish, and short. She wondered who was more lucky, those unwashed and unnoticed, or those who lived a life of fire and ire bringing down upon them doom with notice and value. A brilliant firework show of individualism that screams, "Look at me dammit I exsist!" and then fades away with that same fragile exsistence.

That exsistence hung in the balance now. This trio stood in a mexican standoff between them and the reaper eager to take their souls to someplace as foul and cruel as the universe could provide. Knowing the darkness and cruelty a mortal could suffer, Lara shuddered to think of what treatment the dead might endure. Lara feared death, she never heard nor believed the coo of the religious. She saw the force as a tool, it flowed through you the same way electricity does. Often with similar horrible results.

Balancing fear with duty, fight with flight, Lara prepared herself blaster prepared to do it's blasting. When Amerath made his move Lara's mind failed her, but her instincts took over. As the bin through directly at Aska, she dove hard right into its steely embrace. Knocking it off it's mark, she clattered into the dirt rolling for a moment before landing upright with a bruise on a shoulder to show for her effort. Satisfied that the bin was done in, Lara aimed her blaster and yelled,

"YES TODAY!"
