Just Noticed Something Pretty Sad

My post count has dropped by 1,903 to 2,153 (2,154 with this post). Now before anyone goes into a panic about whether their post count (if you care about it) is suddenly going to drop or be inaccurate allow me to relay some history. When we moved off the old Proboard site to this one the membership at the time did not all begin back at 0 posts counted, but had their post count match what it was on the old site. The sad thing being that 2,154 is my real post here and the "lost" 1,903 being the posts I had way back between March-October of 2005 on the other site (The RPs between January-March were hosted on another Proboards site that was deleted for ToS violations.)

So basically it took me 7.5 years of on/off RPing to barely surpass the high energy of those 7 months of '05.

We recently reset the post counts of a few former admins who had given themselves ridiculous post counts in the Admin CP, so that may have impacted you (and other people) as well. If you’d like, I can re-add your ProBoards count to your post count. Just let me know.

Similarly, I remember passing 10,000 a few years ago and I'm down to 9,000 something. I remember there were a few deletions of posts to save space but I don't remember losing my post count at the time.

My post count used to be 200k or something (which I changed in the Admin CP), was fun whilst it lasted. But apparently I joined in August '10 when I joined in Sept '09 lmao.
