(OOC: Please do not join in and cause random chaos. This is for fun and I hope for some great wrestling between chars)

Coruscant Level 888, New Republic Space, 2147 Hours

It was unusual for a Sith to have hobbies such as this one but Draugr had been a fan of pro wrestling for a little while now and decided to join an underground wrestling business. The show would take place on Coruscant and he was given a gimmick to use as he could hide his identity for the sake of anonymity. He knew he was facing an opponent for a title shot against the champion. Winning tonight was important.

His ring gear would be used to conceal his identity and offer for a cool look as a wrestler. He had been training on his moves and prepared for his match. It would be a ladder match, the wrestlers had to climb to the top and grab the contract from the clip hanging 20 feet in the air. So much rode on the line for this win. Though he knew he had to make it entertaining for the crowd so of course his actual strength with the force would need to be subdued for now as he would be wrestling normal people potentially.

His entrance music would play as he made his way down to the ring and got ready to beat some faces in. He entered the ring and climbed up to the second turnbuckle and would look out into the crowd and do his taunt, which was lifting his right hand in the air in a fist. Then after a few seconds of standing there he would step down and turn to face the entrance as he waited for his competitor(s) to enter the ring.

Here we go..

Maerae hadn't meant to find herself in this venue. Her business on Coruscant was personal in nature, and not something she was doing for the Empire. That in itself was already an oddity; Maerae's devotion to the Sith's rule was the one thing about her that couldn't be challenged. Yet here she was, at the center of the galaxy, just to track down a scrap of a lead on her parents.

Things only got weirder when she ended up with front row seats to an exhibition match.

It wasn't that the young acolyte wanted to be here. She had no interest in this... staged fighting. But apparently, one of the wrestlers knew her father. Or had known him. Whether or not they were still in contact was unclear. Either way, she was here looking for a Rodian man, aged in his sixties.

Instead, she got... this.

So here she sat, literally ringside, adorned in her usual robes, which she hoped were simple enough for her to pass as a Jedi. The bladed lightsaber might be a dead giveaway, though, so all she could do was hope that no one noticed it. Or maybe she ought to use her brain, and hide it under the outer robe.

Adjusting her weapon just so, Maerae sighed in boredom.

Kayden came in, though he wasn’t called Kayden. No, they called him Kaveman. He looked the part, or hoped to. What did ‘Kaveman’ have to do with a mask that looked like someone’s dead flesh stitched together? Not a whole lot, but there you go and here’s your Kaveman.

Kayden, or Kaveman, entered the stadium before the lyrics of this-or-that-language amid dark electronic music. Terror punk, they called it, and here’s your syndicate. Truth be told, Kayden wasn’t up to speed on who the hell had brought him into this wrestling gig or why, but he was here.

Had he been drugged up upon signing the contract? Maybe. Was it a favor for a friend? Well, someone like Kayden didn’t keep many friends so maybe not. Ultimately, he might go to bed tonight having absolutely no idea why he spent the night in a wrestling match, but that was the fun of it.

He saw his opponent, one of them at least, and paced toward the ring. The latter had shaken his fist, might have even bitten his thumb at thee, but that wasn’t really Kaveman’s pedigree—whatever that meant.

Kaveman strolled toward the ring in silence, not tearing his black hole of a gaze away from his foe, before abruptly twirling toward him. The crowd cheered, maybe for no other reason than what-the-hell, and Kaveman thrived on it.

He entered the ring, gave his back to his opponent, tuned to face a corner post, unzipped his crotch. Liquid spewed out upon the floor. It wasn’t gold. It was red. Was it blood? That was for the audience to decide because that’s all they would see.

Rafe stood in the back row, the lukewarm grog he'd been served cradled in his left hand as he watched the crowd, he detested Coruscant, but he had a job in the morning, and had arrived the night before to prepare. This wasn't his typical choice of entertainment, after all he thought these fights were always scripted, but he picked the tickets up cheap, seeing his seat he found out why, so he was here anyway, the fight pits in the outer rim provided a very different style than what was occurring before him this night.

None the less Rafe was enjoying himself enough, a loner in a crowded hall watching over paid and under skilled wrestlers put on a show. Rafe had taken a drink of the overpriced drink he'd been provided and his face scowled at the taste before setting the cup down on a nearby half wall meant to divide the standing area at the top of the stands from the seats themselves.

A red wrapped wrestler made its way to the stage, some typical Coruscant music playing as it did so. Rafe cheered for the masked man, allowing himself to cut loose a little, it wasn't often he got time off anymore...

As his opponent entered the ring, Draugr would remain in his mask and wrestling gear awaiting the bell. The announcer would begin to speak as the opponent turned away to do something absolutely vile. Draugr was slightly disturbed as was the rest of the arena he assumed, but of course there were going to be weirdos around. This just shows how weird.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls of all ages! The following match is a ladder match, the competitors will each fight their way up to the top of the ladder to retrieve the contract and claim their place as the number one contender for the GCW Championship! Presenting first, at 225 pounds, The Bringer of Destruction.. Draxis!!"

Draugr, now known to the crowd as Draxis walked forward a couple steps and stared down his opponent across from him and raised his gloved fist in the air. A showing of strength as he stood tall and menacing. Ready to break the man across from him and climb to the top to grab the contract. His job tonight was to end the career that just started for the stranger and to move on to face the champion.

After his show of dominance he would lower his arm and take a step back and lean against the corner waiting for the match to start. The announcer would then begin to announce the competitor and afterwards the bell would ring.

The first wrestler, Maerae thought, had been standard fare. A wild costume, colorful and ridiculous, but clearly memorable. Theme music that got the crowd pumped up, and some taunting motions that were clearly meant to make him appear as a "heel." She hadn't been impressed, but it wasn't the gaudiest thing she'd ever seen. In fact, he was what she'd expected from this debacle.

The second man, however, had her stunned in disbelief. His costume hadn't really thrown her off, even if the mask was gross in a cheesy was. His entrance had been fine, and just like the man before him, pretty much exactly what she had expected from something as egotistical as wrestling.

Then the man unzipped his pants, and started bleeding from his crotch. For a moment, Maerae couldn't move, stuck between disbelief and disgust. Then her palm smacked against her face hard enough to be heard, followed by an annoyed groan. This was the stupidest thing she'd ever been forced to witness.

Was bleeding from the crotch meant to scare someone? Men were ridiculous.

She really hoped this Draxis fellow would win this match, if only to get the bleeding fellow as far away from her as possible. What an absolute clown of a man.

That little theatrical antic executed, Kayden zipped up, pleased with the results. Revolting and unrelenting. They were split among more than just one person.

Some woman…smacked herself in the face…hard enough to be heard perhaps, while a man beside her would drown that out by cheering like a douchebag. Though, this was wrestling; the whole thing was one ridiculous show filled with idiots for an audience to even be here.

The announcer went about introducing both contestants. 225 lbs of dead meat later, some very unpredictably named Bringer of Destruction, it was Kayden’s turn. “His opponent, standing at 6’ and weighing in at 198 lbs, is Kaveman!” Short and sweet, no need for a title. He would claim his soon enough.

Kaveman turned to face the crowd, mask’s mouth locked in a twisted smile, raising both arms, clapping and breaking into a bit of a jig. It earned some cheers, some laughs, some boos and a “You suck!” Kayden responded by lifting his crotch. Then the bell rang.

The ladder in the middle, the contract dangling above it, he darted for his side and began to climb.

You Suck!! Rafe yelled at the bleeding genital man. There was a smack that echoed around the hall, but the fight hadn't started yet, so Rafe scanned around, but in the chaos of the crowd couldn't locate its source.

As soon as the bell rang the terminally ill man bolted for the ladder, This would definitely be a spectacular show... Rafe thought, sarcasm bellowing around the inside of his head. Rafe hoped the opponent won, for no other reason than the small amount of credits he had bet before the match had even started, in truth he had picked a name at random from the short list.

Rafe beckoned for the walk around attendants, he would need a proper drink for this, and that back alley toilet grog was not going to do the trick..

Waiting for the introduction to be over the masked wrestler Draxis would wait for the bell. Once it rang, he would start laying down some hate, but it looked like Kaveman had other ideas as he decided to climb the ladder immediately.

Draxis knew it would either be an immediate climb to the top or they would go for an attack. In this case they chose the ladder. Now having to be quick, he needed to stop them from climbing, so as they climbed Draxis came forward and lifted the ladder's bottom step on his side to send it backwards and to fall on top of Kaveman who had been climbing to the top of it. As it fell back depending on where Kaveman fell Draxis would come forth and look to begin punishing the weirdo.

The crowd was cheering and booing collectively. Some might have liked the insane wrestler others preferred to watch him suffer. Draxis was one of the ones who wanted to watch him suffer. This would become a grueling match immediately. Where the ladder landed, Draxis had to get it out of the ring for now, as it would only pose as a problem for the fighter if Kaveman was going to take any opportunity at the contract he could.

"Kaveman" and "Draxis." The latter name didn't seem odd to Maerae. In fact, it seemed like a pretty average name for someone in the galaxy. But the former? Absolutely cringeworthy. Maybe she didn't understand the appeal of all the showmanship that came with wrestling, or maybe she was in a bad mood. Well, she was always in a bad mood.

Maerae just didn't get it. Then the bell rang.

Now there seemed to be the start of some action. Draxis saw his opponent make a beeline for the ladder, a mistake if Maerae had ever seen one. Or maybe it was for the show. Either way, Draxis pushed the ladder over. That, the young Sith thought, at least looked like it would be brutal. Falling off of it, then getting crushed by it? Painful.

She wondered what Draxis' next move would be. Would he try to set the ladder up himself? Or remove it from the equation entirely? One way or another, she just wanted him to win. Because he wasn't bleeding from the crotch.

His opponent had the right idea by playing it safe and not trying to race for the ladder, but that itself rang an alarm bell in Kaveman’s mind. The whole reason he had sprinted for the ladder was from the assumption that his opponent might beat him to it.

Kaveman therefore didn’t climb far before realizing Draxis was fixing to pull some kind of a stunt by hanging back. He wasn’t sure what but there was no way Kaveman would grab that contract without interruption. Then it came.

He hadn’t neared the top but he had climbed a few steps no less. So, when Draxis rushed for the ladder, Kaveman leapt off to land on his feet. Had he been closer to the top then that maneuver would have been less comforting.

The ladder toppled over as Kaveman found his footing, ready to receive his opponent with open arms. Mentally, though, he was smacking himself in the face like that woman had done to herself from earlier (literally in her case). I should have read the rules. You can move the kriffing ladder?

Maybe they didn’t actually need the ladder to get the contract but Kaveman wasn’t about to disadvantage himself by repositioning the ladder. That would leave him wide open. Draxis had knocked the damn thing over, not Kaveman. “Pick it up, O Bringer of Destruction.”

Rafe made his way down the steps, an open seat had caught his eye and he had decided to take it. Maybe it hadn't been sold, or maybe it's owner hadn't be able to come, or maybe they were in the bathroom and Rafe would have to fight them when they came back, either way, Rafe was going to have a seat. The wondering attendant had made her way back to Rafe with a more appropriate drink, and Rafe's first sip of it was followed by much more appreciation.

Once Rafe sat down he watch the ladder topple over, and get thrown from the ring a second later. Good thinking. He was still waiting for an actual exchange of blows though, hopeful this entertainment would soon become entertaining...

Rafe lit a death stick, he didn't know if that was allowed inside the hall, but figured he'd push his luck anyway.. after his first drag Rafe yelled, Let's see some blood!! Loud enough for most of everyone to hear.

As his opponent would hop off the ladder Draxis would simply kick the ladder over as it would slide out of the ring. His eyes stayed on Kaveman to makes sure he didn't rush in for attack, if he did the red Masked, Bringer of Destruction would counter. If he stayed still the wrestler would move forward to grapple the opponent.

The crowd cheering and booing at the same time. This was expected, and the Zabrak would choose to ignore it best as possible. They needed entertainment, this is what he signed up for. Plus being champion is pretty cool he had to admit. So this was his first step to get there.

Going for the grapple he would first give a kick to the abdomen and then look to grab the man at the head to go straight into a ddt. Of course if the man went for a counter he'd allow it as the crowd needed entertainment. To believe in something and to think the wrong man will win. Or the right man in other's eyes. It was to please all and none at the same time. Thus was the fun and glory of wrestling.

Removing the ladder from the ring was an interesting move, but one that Maerae thought made sense. She could appreciate the idea of taking the enemy head-on first, and dealing with the objective second. At least this way, when Draxis went to grab for the contract, he woudn't have to deal with getting tipped over while he was halfway up the ladder.

Though Maerae still wasn't entirely fond of this wresling debut, at the very least it seemed like both contestants were willing to give it their all. She still found herself silently rooting for Draxis, though that might change if she saw Kaveman do anything worth commending. Maybe she'd even forget about the crotch blood.

The young Sith leaned back in her seat, still trying to keep her eyes out for an aging Rodian man. Still nothing. Oh well. She supposed it wouldn't hurt to try and enjoy the match in front of her. Maybe this Rodian would compete tonight. Though, she wouldn't put her money on a bug-man winning a match.

Kaveman might have savored the moment, spread his arms to the crowd, the lovers and the haters both, but there was really no time for that. Apart from a wild audience, all Kaveman heard was the pulsations of music rushing through his head as his opponent advanced.

The kick connected, then Draugr’s arms connected with Kaveman’s torso. One went for his back, the other for his neck, both for a DDT, and that was detrimental. Kaveman felt his upper body bend forward in this devastating lock…and went to work.

His head bowed between his opponent’s legs, right beneath the crotch, Kaveman abruptly repositioned it outside of Draugr’s thigh. His arm grappled the same area as the wrestler rose.

Kaveman hoped to counter the DDT by lifting Draugr over his shoulders and performing an airplane spin. Would it last? Who knew? Truth be told, Kayden had no idea what he was doing in this ring, but there he was.
