Kaisa Solus was not born into the Mandalorians by blood of her parents. Instead, she is what is known as a "foundling", a child taken into the fold by an honor bound Mandalorian. When she was just a small child, a group of Mandalorian bounty hunters discovered Kaisa in the cargo hold of a slaving vessel they had boarded and ransacked.
A Mandalorian woman by name of Nysh Solus, unable to have children of her own, took it upon herself to adopt the young Kaisa and raise her as her own. Starting from that very moment, Kaisa was taught the ways of the Mandalorians - their culture, their creed and their morals. Like a fish to water, The Way came naturally to the young girl.
Eventually Kaisa grew up and struck out on her own, taking to the life that many Mandalorians adopted. Bounty hunter, sellsword, mercenary - whatever you wanted to call it, it didn't much matter to her. Looking to make a name for herself in a vast and uncaring galaxy, Kaisa one day hopes to bring the Mandalorians back to their former glory, and to cement the name of Clan Solus as the best of them all.

Unsurprising given her upbringing, Kaisa is very well versed in numerous manners in which to inflict violence against others. She is no stranger to all manner of arms, be them rifles, pistols, or more heavy armaments.
A capable melee combatant, Kaisa prefers bladed weapons over her bare fists, though she is versed in Echani fighting styles, being taught by an Echani woman in exchange for services as a body guard.
