He was born of Kashyyyk, an albino who was considered an ill omen. Though he would only spend somewhere around 125 years there (not a very long time for a wookie), his life at that time could not be considered anything but normal. Little is know about the circumstances of his departure from the planet but rumors tell of Trandoshan slavers descending upon his clan, killing all they could not take alive. Whether it was good fortune or bad that Kattatha was taken alive, I cannot say. Regardless, fate determined that he would not die that day.
I first took notice of him when he arrived on Rattatak. Already he was a seasoned gladiator, and through my eyes, obviously well trained at that. His owner, an enterprising Zygerrian named Xen Gaal, had clearly spent many credits to prepare the Wookie for his debut in The Cauldron of Rattatak. Those credits were well spent. From the very first fight, Kattatha was destined to be a star.
I will never forget the sight of this mountain of a wookie tearing his opponent limb from limb the first time I saw him in the pit, blood staining his pure white hair and a leg of his adversary still held within his massive paw. Immediately he was a favorite of mine. Rarely did I miss one of his fights, never did I bet against him.
Time slipped by quickly in those days. Each time he fought he climbed the ranks, it was not long before he was a betting favorite. Eventually, he became the perennial champion of the blood-sport and his name was no longer known only to the fans on Rattatak. Those who enjoyed the sport across the galaxy knew of the mighty albino wookie, and over the decades thousands traveled to see him compete.
Then one day, after almost forty years of bloody glory, he was gone. None knew the truth of how this great talent came to be lost, but all those who enjoyed the sport were abuzz with the news of his disappearance. Some say that he escaped in a violent fit of rage, killing his owner and those guarding him. Others whispered that the adversaries of Xen Gaal, tired of losing both gladiators and credits, murdered the aging Zygerrian and set his wookie free.
I don't believe either story, for I was one of the few to know a secret that few others knew. Kattatha, the albino wookie champion of Rattatak, was Force sensitive. I know this because I myself can touch the Force, and sensed it in him the first time I saw him in the pits all those long years ago. With each passing fight he grew stronger, his aura darker, though the sight terrified me I could not tear my eyes from the spectacle.
My own belief of his disappearance, and I say this to very few for fear of my life, is that the Sith discovered Kattatha and took him into their fold.
Of course I have no proof of this, nor would I reveal it if I did. As one of his biggest fans I know only that I look back on those times with great longing, for never again will we see a champion like him.
Something tells me however that what I witnessed here was only a beginning, the galaxy has not yet seen the last of the mighty albino known as Kattatha.
.....thus begins the story of the wookie who will one day be known as Darth Cruor.

STRENGTH: Kattatha is powerful even for his race, decades of fighting in the gladiatorial pits of Rattatak has seen to that. He knows this is his greatest asset, and he works hard to keep that edge.
DEXTERITY: For his size, he is very agile on his feet. Kattatha has reflexes that were honed over countless battles as a gladiator on Rattatak. Though agile, he won't be winning any races.
CONSTITUTION: Having been a champion fighter, his conditioning is top of the line. His keepers saw him, rightfully so, as a profitable asset and gave him the best in nutrition and healthcare. Years of this treatment has put him in peak condition, and his young age (relatively for a Wookie) means that he is currently in his prime.
INTELLIGENCE: Depending on the topic, Kattatha can be very intelligent. His main interest is the martial disciplines, and that is where he shines. When it comes to deception, manipulation and intrigue Kattatha falls short. He knows his weakness however, and allows others to lead. He desires little more than to perfect the art of combat.
WISDOM: While wise in the ways of combat, he is naive in the ways of politics. He can be taken advantage due to this lack of savvy, though if he finds out he will react with a murderous rage.
CHARISMA: He is not very influential with most people, his form of persuasion is not through sweet words or promises. His style tends to lean towards blunt intimidation, in this he excels.
Those who do find him charismatic are soldiers and warriors.
