It had been too long since Nor'baal had taken another look at his own security. And, given that the Pyke Syndicate and Zann Consortium had recently taken it upon themselves to walk into his Palace with a small army, as if it was nothing, there was no time like the present to bring his security up to date. However, Nor'baal was a practical Hutt. Droids, Gamorreans - both were quite suitable for his needs. No. Nor'baal needed something which could provide him with a little edge. He needed something that could put a little fear out there, amongst the other Syndicate members, something that would remind them that, should they step out of line, their petty kingdoms would come crashing down.
As such, after some debate with his Majordomo, he had reached a conclusion.
Purchasing slaves, from the numerous fighting pits of the Hutt Core, Nor'baal intended to bring them to his Palace and liberate them, offering those who chose to stay a place within a new regiment, one of his own design. They would be trained, by those he had brought to meet him today, given the gear they needed, and stims to give them an edge and owe their loyalty, and their lives, to Nor'baal himself. A small, elite, savage, and most of all, loyal force.
He asked much. Yet Nor'baal was a Hutt of great means and was willing to spend whatever was needed to see his dream realised.
Leaning back on his throne, he waited for his guests to arrive. Both had been told what he had planned, both had been told the resources he was willing to commit. Nor'baal gestured for the guests to be escorted in, as his plans were set into motion.
