A Big Party Hall, An Imperial World

OOC:Costume party, open to all Empire affiliated characters.

This wasn't her first party, despite what everyone thought of the Jedi they weren't so hardcore as to never have parties and there had even been a few themed ones. But a Jedi party was very much what everyone expected it to be, lame. This though, this was different. There was music, there was booze (the real sort, and not some organic, vegan, non-alcoholic faux-beverage snuck in at the last minute), there were all sorts of intoxicants, there were folks of all shapes and sizes dressed in the most bizarre outfits, and there was fun.

She had felt like an outsider ever since she had joined the Empire, but this, this should get on board with. Here she could fit in. So she picked up a shot from a passing tray, and downed it before heading into the mix, looking to have some fun.

Caduceus Ramage looked rough after his ship went down. He had lost one of his smaller eyes and the main eye on his left hand side, along with one of his left arms up to the elbow. His white fur was still somewhat miscolored, areas blackened and scorched off still visible. He was limping quite noticeably, an injury to his right leg causing him to have an awkward gate.

Yet his uniform was pristine. The deep blacks and greys and gleaming golds of his uniform were immaculate. The recreation of the bionics were master works, the limbs, mandible, and facial cover looked real. The cane he had even was perfect down to the last detail, which gave off a soft clack with every step he took. The Harch was in costume as the most famous of his species: Admiral Trench.

He had returned no more than a week prior, his entire time spent making his way through the galaxy to return to his home. Supprisingly he looked worse then than he did at the current moment, and he was still on a long road to recovery; both physically and his reputation. Many saw him as just another commanding officer who was used by the Sith as a pawn, but many also saw him as a complete idiot who broke the Empire's navy. Yet there he was, in costume, with a soft aroma of stone and ancient timber. He wasn't there to impress, or even show off, he mostly was there to interact and see what he would be useful for.

Lieutenant Karn entered the party dressed as Dryden Vos. An infamous Crimson Dawn criminal from years ago, but for someone like Levik with one foot in the criminal underworld and the other one firmly supplanted in the Imperial Peacekeeper Corps, Dryden Vos was somewhat of a celebrity still. He was way more sophisticated a criminal than say -Preef Callo- and the rodian's partner, the former Zaa Fenn Crimelord Marissa Zaa Fenn had kept too well to the background to succesfully use her as inspiration for a costume party. Besides, Levik wasn't too keen on cross-dressing. The other guests shouldn't have grounds to undermine his authority as a peacekeeper, after all.

He recognized the Harch immediately. Lieutenant Ramage had a reputation and more importantly for certain individuals in the Taris Exchange: an impressive collection of antique paintings. Levik would wait until the Harch had a few more drinks in and find out where the captain of the Night Veil hid said collection. Useful information for the Freem Gotra, to be sure, and Levik knew that Eccle'Baal wouldn't short him on his 'finder's fee'.

To pass the time, Levik walked up to the former Jedi (@Wit), picking up a shot from the same tray that just passed them and with a sly smile said, "Cheers,-" and slung back the shot. "-how do you find the Empire, Verin Bashere." The Peacekeeper Corps held filed for all known Force-sensitives in the Empire and newcomers like this former Jedi weren't excluded.

Wiley was looking the part of Gar Saxon. In fact, he was pretty sure he was wearing the man's armor, or at least someone that had been close to him. The Ossein man had even gone so far as to dye his hair a shade of semi-silver-blonde to look the part. While the Imperial Knight was carrying a genuine Mandalorian helmet underneath one arm, he also had plates of red and black livery sitting on his torso and back that were more than just for show. However tonight, Wiley was planning on partying without getting into a brawl. But the night was still young.

The Knight drew some looks as people thought for a second he was a Mandalorian before recognizing the pilot's wolfish grin. He gave a nod to someone dressed in clone-wars era Jedi robes but with a fake lightsaber going through their stomach. Wiley shot them a finger gun and a wink which was returned in kind.

Sauntering across the room, Wiley stopped near the tray the same time an officer began to make conversation with the newest addition to the Knights. Wiley picked up a full glass from the tray, toasting and steadily downing the drink's contents before setting the glass back down on the tray. Even the Ossein had not had much of a chance to get to know the ex-Jedi but he was curious to hear what she had to say.

Without skipping a beat, the hardy spacer picked up a second glass and took a large sip before looking around and getting a better idea of new arrivals while listening to his cohorts beside him. Even now the man found himself regularly checking faces and exits. The habits he developed when among the Sith were ones he didn't want to shake.

He noticed one Harch that looked familiar. The first one that came to Wiley's mind was that of Admiral Trench. He was a student of naval warfare and it popped into his head almost immediately. The costumed Knight gave a nod and would make a mental note to compliment the spider-guy if he got a chance.

With all the efforts made to build up the new Empire as quickly as possible, there was usually not much to celebrate. Kalique didn't mind working her ass off every day, but a lighthearted party night on a nice, Imperial planet was maybe exactly what they all needed after the continous hard work. It was always an opportunity to socialize, meet new people and build connections.

Kalique had chosen a rather revealing, perhaps even provocative outfit she wore with shameless confidence. While she was usually an all dutiful, serious Knight, she could also be a fun partygoer. She wasn't about to get all unhinged, but the booze would probably lower some inhibitions all around and this party would turn into another sucessful, fun night like usual.

Her outfit choice was a direct offense to the ones they were hunting down: The remaining Sith. The filth regrouping in the shadows. A rather mocking tribute, given the obviously impractical, unnecessary revealing cut of the costume, topped with the high leather boots no one would ever wear in combat, but there was something about leather and Sith. Obviously, her outfit was finalized with a red plastic lightsaber. Nothing more but an accessory from an apparently rather morbid toystore, but it did it's job perfectly.

The party wasn't in full swing yet, but she was confident that was about to come. After having downed the first round of shots with a few known faces, she set course to mingle with some unfamiliar ones and her gaze firstly fell on the newly promoted Commander Karn (@Eccles). As he was engaged in a conversation, she walked passed him and offered a curt, yet genuine, "Congratulations, Commander, on your promotion", followed by a respectful inclination of her head, before she set off with a sweet smile.

The next new face along her way was a silver haired gentleman she had already heard about, but never shared an actual conversations just yet, so she was eager to change that. "Knight Winnz, would you care to dance?" she offered her hand invitingly, a charming smirk on her lips while intending to start the night at the dancefloor. (@Darasuum)
