Mandalore.

How long had it been, since her aunts husband had passed on? A year or so? Cremek, her.. cousin, has refused to take his father's place, so natrualy it fell to her to care for this small fraction of what the twins were, she had been doing well, given the sudden circumstances. She walked amidst the glassed dunes of mandalore, down a familiar path, a spot that the twins often set up shop for their ilk and whatnot. The twins sold armor, and they were going to showcase one of their best, the cuyan series.

The bazaar of sorts was sort of like a flee market, but uniquely... mandalorian. Credits, guns, story's, were all swapped here as currency where the twins chose to set up shop, it was always chaotic, yet orderly at the same time. This was a signature place for the twins to do business.

Rue would sigh, walking into the so called "spotlight" and taking over from some candorus bloke.

"You know, I bet my good eye that a fights going to break out soon."

She sighs once more, turning her head to look about..

The large form of the cyborg walked past one stall after another. His face was just as hidden as the Mandalorians he walked amongst. Maan Vizsla was looking for weapons to add to his arsenal. It was possible he would be mistaken for a droid considering everything except for some of his organs and his brain had been replaced with cybernetics.

Carried in the man's arms was a bowcaster, its leather sling was looped over one shoulder. On either hip, the Apex Contractor had his pistols and on his back was a R-799 micromissile gun. Already it would seem Maan had a sizeable armament however the man was not easily satiated. That, thankfully was a characteristic often shared with other Mandalorians making it one of the few communities the killer felt he could associate with.

He would stop in front of a few tables holding westar and galaar blaster models. They were each in working order but were used. Looking up from the spread of weapons, Maan spoke in a calm voice but like that of a droid's vocabulator only slightly more menacing. "How much for the lot of them?"

Compared to the size of this.. whatever it was, rue was quite small, she was small by concordian standards, given the rep of concordian mando'ade's being towering pinnacles of mandalore. Of course, she was completely undaunted. She tapped her fingers on the desk. One of the clansmen slid a drink her way, it was hot and one needed to stay hydrated, She went to turn when she saw the stand and spit out her drink mod sip.

"HOLY SHIT, THOSE ARE SOME - She coughed mid sentence. - SEXY KRIFFING GUNS RIGHT THERE!"

Rue slammed her hand on the desk, barking at one of her boys to take over for a moment.

With that she rushed over there.

Maan waited patiently for the shopkeeper to realize what he was asking. "Oh, um..." They looked down at their spread of weaponry and made some calculations in their head. "Fifteen thousand credits." The price tag was large but the Apex Contractor would be getting a lot of weaponry and would have a spare in the event any were damaged. These would be his personal arsenal separate from the ones acquired through Apex or Czerka.

The Vizsla Trandoshan had enough scratch from successful missions to pay out of pocket for the investment. There was two of everything which was what made the cost high. Galaar 15 and 35s were capable and desirable weapons for their unique characteristics. All of this was going to need to be stowed in crates and be hauled to Maan's ship.

The looming cyborg produced a box like container and placed it on the table amongst the weapons. Opening it, the Mandalorian merchant was able to see more than enough payment being offered. "Ammo too." He added before the shopkeep began to collect the blasters and place them into weapon crates with travel padding.

A pair of Westar 35, 37 and 55, and 93 blaster pistols were next to be loaded and finally a set of Westar-17 carbines. But before it was completed a stranger approached the shop at a quick pace causing Maan to react by half turning and pivoting to look behind him. His cybernetic eyes looked the Mandalorian woman up and down, wondering if she was trying going to attack him. But it would seem her attention was primarily on the wares of the merchant being packed up.

Oh little rue, the lass was far too concerned about the guns to even notice the man looking at her. She has a almost Maniac energy to her.

"ay, so you got any in stock left? Please tell me he didn't buy it all."

She gasps hearing the price!

"Hold up, ALL that for westar models? Don't get me wrong, I love westars, but dropping 15k for only a few of them? I'kaad, that's just a rip-off, at the most those are 10 thousand, and thats with extra attachments."

Dispite her apparent energy in all things, she was a twins member, buying and selling was somewhat one of their main gigs, having an eye for quality deals was somewhat ingrained in her.

She turns to the towering man

"Allow me to make a counter offer to this man, sir, we sell westars, good ones too, if you haven't sealed the deal yet, I suggest looking at our wares, we also sell slug throwers and scatterguns with our famous songsteel tipped rounds. Same hardness as beskar, guaranteed to -" she makes a popping sound

Then one of her lads grab her by the back of her gorget, dragging her petite concordian ass back to THEIR stand, for both her sanity, and the markets, of course this was a common occurrence here at the market at this point for rue tepmuart to be a little too passionate when it came to a good deal, so she really didn't put up a fight when she was dragged off.

Of course she was still allowed in the market with her stunts because in truth, she ment well, concord dawn mandalorians were just a different breed of mando'ade, that was all. It was still a pretty comedic scene.

A good price wasss a good price, but why sssettle for good when it could be better? Maan was a Trandoshan that could appreciate a better deal when he heard it. His vision panned back over to the shopkeeper who was still packing up his equipment whilst the Tepmuart was pulled away by a member of their kin.

By the man's calculations each blaster was worth still one thousand credits each considering they still rivaled some blasters on the modern market for their performance. Not to mention the Westar-37s were practically collector items. In fact, the contractor was pretty sure he was already getting a deal for the blasters but the confidence of the saleswoman made him hesitate.

His artificial eyes regarded the Mandalorian merchant he had been about to buy from. "I may return." He took his travel-chest of credits from the table and turned to follow the woman who had advertised her supposed better deals a moment earlier. He knew there was no guarantee that the weapons he had been about to purchase could be bought by someone else or this new merchant was unsatisfactory. Maan did not like his time or money to be wasted.

The towering Vizsla cyborg arrived at the Tepmaurt stand and surveyed what was immediately on display. "Show me what you got." She already had implicated herself as being able to sell two of each Westar and Galaar models at a better price than the Mandalorian she had pulled Maan away from. He expected not only fourteen blasters with ammo and attachments but also something more that was worth drawing the killer's attention.

She would readjust her helmet, before barking at one of her boys to move, she kneeled down grabbing a crate.

"Take ya pick big man, we got plenty of other goods in our stock as well."

She opened it up, setting several galaar and westar models on the desk.

"Now, normally we would sell them all for 14 thousand total, but I'm willing to mark it down to 13 thousand in exchange for a amazing story, if it manages to surprise me, or leave me in wonder."

She gave a thumbs up

The armored synthetic faceplate that covered Maan's true face was unreadable but so too was what lay beneath. Very little remained of the Trandoshan original body. But he long ago came to terms with it and in fact considered his new form superior to its previous.

The proud gate of the cyborg moved to examine the arsenal the Tepumuart clan members presented. The Vizsla looked them over each. Once he was satisfied, he regarded Rue as if debating what story to tell her until he finally spoke. "14,000." It was clear he was not interested in entertaining the young woman, nor was he short on credits.

"What else do you have?" The Mandalorian's tone indicated he was content, but not impressed. If she wanted to wow him or amuse him, she would need to do better than some small arms. Then again, he did not expect anything larger than a grenade launcher from a member of the Twins.

"that depends big man." she looked around for a moment..

she now sat up on the stands desk, lazily flipping a credit.

"we could have some.. exotic armaments, stuff you won't find in the inner core..But I would seriously need a show of good faith before I even consider selling you those.. could /disrupt/ our business if we chose to peddle them..

she then burst out laughing.
"or you could just buy one of these sick ass arc casters we looted and rewired."

she then flipped the credit one more time.
"A well armed society is a happy society.."

Maan's emotionless visage gave no hint of humor or amusement. However after she emphasized the disrupt part of her sentence he tilted his head more in her direction. An arc caster, he was not sure what she meant by that. But it was possibly some jurry-rigged disruptor or maybe it was her name for the a lightning gun. In either case he was willing to at least check out the hardware and see if it was worth purchasing.

"You already know I have the funds. Let's not waste time." He waved a metallic hand through the air casually that was at odds with his robotic growling tone. "Show me the best you have. Impress me." The contractor was not on a time table but he was far from the most patient individual. Maan was a gruff member of the Vizsla clan that cared little about the pleasantries and etiquette that most people considered even by Mandalorian standards. The cyborg Trandoshan loved heavy weaponry though and anything capable of ripping apart his prey was money and time well spent. This was the nicest the Mandalorian had been to anyone all week.

"gocha big man!"
little else was spoken as she lifted a case silently opening it, a T-7 ion disruptor rifle, and a good old Tenloss DXR-6, as well as an amban phase-pulse blaster.

"t-7 can cross off a fighter mid flight if you aim it right, and I think ya heard what the DXR-6 can do, nice and reliable, amban just ashes people, leaves a nice scent too."

"now the arc casters a wee bit different than your average weapon, the first galactic empire used these bad boys in their army to take on armored foes, does not target the person per see, hits their armor, heats it, cooks the person alive, doesn't last long, and their one time use though as far as we've gotten them to work, but they're effective-ish, use em at your own risk."

A satisfied murmur was vocalized by the cyborg at seeing the new presentation. The cyborg was well aware of what a T-7 ion disruptor could do. It was largely exaggerated its stopping power but its history was perhaps more nefarious than the actual damage it could inflict. The Trandoshan would have grinned if he had lips. But under the protective faceplate his artificial metallic teeth were in a constant snarling grin. Unless he intended to bit someone or eat, he kept his bionic mouth covered.

"I've been looking to reacquire a T-7." Hinting that he had previously used one. However it had gone empty and in his frustration and bloodlust, dropped the expensive weapon in favor of jumping into a melee. There was definitely a chance of that happening again but the Vizsla had credits to spend for quality merchandise. "Normally I don't like anything that doesn't make my prey bleed. But for desintegrators, I make an exception. Hehe." His ears remembered the screams and shouts of the targets he had slain as if thinking fondly of a fun work trip.

Maan looked between the Amban pulse rifle and the DXR-6. The former seemed to be in better condition than the latter and were both good weapons. However the Mandalorian was on the fence about buying either. As a merchant, Rue would possibly pick up on this buyer's hesitation but moved on to talk about the arc caster which drew Maan's attention.

"Interesting." He started simply. "What's their range and how many do you have?" The type of weapon she mentioned sounded like one rumored to have been used on Mandalore by the Empire. However it was mostly speculation and hearsay that such a thing had or could exist. If the Tepumuart was being honest then that would give Maan a weapon few could even imagine. But this would also lead to more questions from the cyborg. Weapons were one of his few interests.

"well, as far as we've tested, a couple feet." she slid the modified e-11 to him

"hey, I got a deal.. we haven't tested their capabilities fully in the heat of the field.. so if you buy the T-7, I'll throw in two or three arc casters for free on the condition you record and send the data back to us for improvement, seem like a deal?"

if the woman's eyes were visible, she would have given a wink.

A few feet was a shorter range than what Maan had desired. But he could not ask for too much from unproven technology. It was as good as a grenade then and would need to be durable enough to be thrown and handled roughly.

The Mandalorian merchant slid an ordinary E-11 blaster but the contractor barely gave it a glance. “Very well. I will buy the T-7.” The cyborg’s vision swept towards the other two disintegrators. He was used to testing the bleeding edge of technology. In fact it tended to give him an edge when it came to his work.

“Drop the price on the phase pulse rifle and the DXR-6 or throw in something extra and I will buy those as well.” He still wanted the other disruptors. There might be a need for them in the future plus if Maan purchased them then there was a higher likelihood of using them. These days with AMS residing in the corners of the galaxy and dark side monsters popping up, the devastating weapons were becoming a necessity. Regardless, they would make a fine addition to the cyborg's collection.

"right, so you ain't interested in the arc caster."

She would slide the modified e-11 away, before tapping her helmet in thought for a second.

"Tell you what, I'll play ball, let's negotiate, lowest I'll go for all three is a thousand credits off the entire price, now that's said..."

She crossed her arms.

The cyborg cocked his head to the side with a hint of confusion. The Tepmuart merchant had made it sound like the weapon she was trying to sell was a grenade of some kind. Not a modified archaic blaster. But he supposed it did not matter since it sounded to be a single use item. Such a thing was not practical for Maan's needs. "Make it the size of a grenade then come talk to me."

Rue began to talk but trailed off. Maan did not bite figuratively, and he was not generally in the mood to indulge social pleasantries. "Get to it." The Vizsla was already buying numerous blasters and clearly had the funds to make an expensive purchasing.

"aww boo..no fun for the art of the deal, okay, I'll leave out the arc casters, and hit you up when we make it into grenade form. "

She sighed, given how disruptors were a pain to sell, given they were illigal on almost every civilized world.

"Okay, since these are a pain in the ass to hold procure, I'll do 17k with accompanying ammo to fuel those babies for about.. two weeks, if you use it constantly but responsibly."

He did not say it but Maan was looking forward to seeing progress in the weaponsmith's weaponry. Whether it yielded the intended results or a different product was eventually made it did not matter to the Trandoshan Mandalorian. The evolution of destruction and warfare would come to the hands of Maan Vizsla one way or another.

The cyborg let out a short mechanical chuckle through his vocabulator. "Hahaha, deal." He was not one to use a weapon responsibly. Though he did use them constantly. The contractor consisting mostly of machine parts was happy to accept the sale. Weapons were hard enough to come by but even for his corporate clients, Maan sometimes found that ammuntion was just as hard to come by if not more than the weapon themselves.

"right."
She would cock her head to an assistant, as he picks up the the disruptors and places then in a crate.

She motions to the transceiver.

"We'll box em for you once you pay, unless you would wanna deliver them to your ship yourself, anything else you looking for, or is that gonna be it for you?"

Maan surveyed the wares of the merchant. The weaponry available was diverse and the cyborg spotted an interesting weapon. "A thousand credits for that shatterbeam rifle and ammo...." His red optics gazed at the other options available but no others seemed to be better than what he was already acquiring.

He continued to his next interest. "....do you sell concussion missiles or proton torpedoes?" Such things were for use on a personal ship most likely. At the moment the Trandoshan did not have much in the way of personal transport. "I'm interested in any surplus from Nox Solus's Crusade if you happen to know of such things." The Vizsla could use a new ship for his own needs and Mandalorian technology was reliable. Maybe there was the chance he could learn the whereabouts of something larger. The Tepmuart shopkeep could have a connection or be interested herself in acquiring such assets for her own clan or even resale.
