CONSTITUTION: Lamia was average when it came to endurance before Matsu found her. After the cellular transfusion that occurred, her constitution was increased to approximately 75% of that of her Master's.
INTELLIGENCE: She knows quite a bit, and if she doesn't know it, she'll pry it from somebody's head.
WISDOM: Still in what would be considered her young life, she is quick to rush into situations, but follows the knowledge she has gleaned from whatever holocrons she has accessed.
CHARISMA: She prefers to keep to herself, though she has show attraction to a couple people in her life. When it comes to persuading people, it's best left for another instead of her.

GEAR:
A Sith Holocron that was found with her and the lightsaber in the escape pod she was found in.

The items she received when joining the Jedi were Jedi Robes and a Blue training saber. A trip on Nar Shaddaa got her her family's ancient Sith Sword back. At Veeshas Tuwain, she discovered an old Sith Holocron that belonged to one of the teachers there, and during a meeting with a Sith, she stole one of his Holocrons that contained the complete history of the Sith Species.

Later, Matsu specially made her a lightsaber with a crystal that would change the blade's color from yellow(for lightside) to red(for darkside). Her sabers were destroyed during the explosion of Lacrima, but she recovered the crystals that were inside them. She plans to construct a new lightsaber, but for now uses a standard Imperial Knight saber with a black blade(white core).

SHIP: Whatever ship she is allowed to use, usually a shuttle.

DROIDS: N/A

PETS: N/A

PERSONALITY:
Lamia has a warrior's personality, and enjoys combat, seeing it as a way of life as the old Sith once did. Her view is that the more you engage in combat, the more you will be at peace, which is surprising for a Knight. She is also a devout student of history, particularly her species. Though she has chosen to follow the light, the darkness of her species' past still lives within her, and she has to constantly tread a fine line separating the two. She also has a minor sense of isolation, usually preferring to confide in herself, not others.

BIOGRAPHY:
Lamia Kressh was born to members of the Sith Kressh family, which much earlier in history was responsible for Sith such as Ludo and Exal Kressh. Living in isolation on board a space station of one of the old Sith Empires located in the unknown regions, Lamia was taught the basics of Sith culture even as a young child. However, all that would change when the pirates that brought the station supplies(they dealt with the most human of the inhabitants, as the Sith did not want anyone to know Purebloods still existed) chose to renege on their agreement and destroy it. The 6 year old Lamia's parents rushed her to an old, unnoticed escape pod and left her there, along with a lightsaber and a Sith Holocron. Realizing they had no hope of survival, her parents launched the pod as the station was consumed by flames, blaster fire, and explosions. The shockwave would send the pod at near-light speed to the nearest planet: the infamous world of Roxuli.

As the pod crash-landed near a home on the planet, the family occupying the house came out to examine it. Opening the pod and discovering a young female of an unknown species, they accepted her into their family. The items that were in the pod with her(the lightsaber and holocron) were kept on a shelf, gathering dust as Lamia grew older. Eventually, she discovered her sensitivity in the Force. At the young age(for a Sith) of 29, she left her adopted family home with her 2 personal possessions and traveled the galaxy before being found by several Jedi and taken as a Padawan. Though the masters were worried that having a Sith Pureblood in their order would risk either her corruption, or their students', they decided to risk it due to their curiosity at how she, of a supposedly extinct species, had survived.

After a period of time with her new master, Matsu Ike, they began to form a more personal relationship. A stop on Nar Shaddaa found her the proud owner of her family's ancient Sith Sword. A few missions later, she almost fully accepted her dark past by channeling the Dark Side during a battle with a Sith Undead. She also took a trip back to her home on Roxuli, secretly using the trip as an excuse to meet with another Darksider to learn some of her species' ancient powers. Following this, Matsu brought her and her blade to the Loremaster, hoping to get the blade purified from its darkness, though she knew nothing about Lamia's meeting.

After being told to spend time at Ruusan, home of the Valley of the Jedi, Lamia meditated there for several months before Matsu performed a rather dangerous technique on her, removing the dark taint that had been with her since birth. A mission to the Veeshas Tuwain library on Arkania saw her help redeem Chora from the Dark Side with Master Mitya and Master Matsu's help.

Shortly afterwards, she was dueling with Jedi Master Teline Deloi when she utilized the Force powers Kinetite and Electric Judgement. The Jedi believed that she had used Dark Side powers during their duel, and told the Grandmaster, who, after a conversation with her, exiled Lamia despite not having proof she had used the Dark Side.

Traveling with Matsu and the Knights and Padawans that left with her due to the Jedi Order's seeming bigotry, Lamia joined the Imperial Knights, finding a friend in blind Knight Mira Albion, who was in many ways just like Lamia herself. She embarked on missions with several other Knights, gaining herself some new friends along the way.

After Mira left the Knights for the Jedi, Lamia took a trip to Sarka, to relax and get away from the war. While there, she met an alias of Geist Weiss, Sith alchemist. He kidnapped her, taking her to an abandoned space station and psychologically torturing her. She was... damaged, after this. It was as though she had finally accepted the darkness. Calling for help, Mira came and saved her from a certain death aboard the station as it exploded.

Lamia returned to the Knights after this ordeal. She was cleansed and helped by Knight-Commander Rouge, but shortly afterwards Rouge, along with Lamia's master, Matsu, would die when the Sith attacked. Their deaths drove Lamia to despair, and as a result, she isolated herself during the purge. She constructed a swimming pool on board one of the Knights' ships, and when all Imperial Knights were ordered into the HOMEFRONT, she disassembled it and moved the pool to sublevel 42. She remained there for some time, trying to reconstitute her mental state before becoming essential guardian to Matsu's two daughters.

Before this, though, she had come into contact with a fellow Matsu padawan-turned-Knight named Qyv Xinn. She felt attracted to him, the same way she had towards her lost love Varrion, and after some conversation, she asked the important question: whether he wanted to have kids with her or not. Hearing in the affirmative, Lamia and Qyv had relations, accelerating the pregnancy so that she would not have to hide it from the Knights. She gave birth to a male(Tyr) and female(Deliah) child, taking the latter with her back to the Knights.

I highly doubt a dark side being would be accepted into the Jedi knowing full well she is a being basically pure darkside.

ELECTRIC JUDGEMENT ON A PADAWAN??? Hellz no. Lightsaber throw is also a bit much, that implies you've master Force push/pull enough to manipulate your lightsaber after you've thrown it (not to mention use the force to keep it ignited while it's flying).

Also, red lightsaber, Sith pureblood... why not go more conventional?

Because: Those who are not happy for another person's success are not going to be happy for another person's success.

The biography does say that she
went to join the Jedi, having shunned her species' dark heritage and accepted the light.

Force lightning change it to Electric Judgement since it is the "lightside version" For the most part I see a lot of inner turmoil with this character.

Might as well reduce it in strength overall down to Force Shock. As for the inner turmoil... She comes from a very Dark species, but has chosen to follow the path of the Light. I came up with the character for this reason in particular.

Also, red lightsaber, Sith pureblood... why not go more conventional?

Conventional stuff doesn't make for interesting RPs. She simply honors her heritage while having taken the light path.

Conventional isn't bad at all, I like conventional more than the OHMAHGAWDGROUNDBREAKING. I just had a feeling though someone was going to make a Sith and then lean them onto the Jedi when that is the most improbable thing that they could do.

Her species is Sith. That in itself is a conflict with joining the Jedi. Do you not think that the Jedi would be completely against her joining due to the fact she could fall to the darkside at any given moment?

I didn't want to be blunt, but yeah. It's impossible.

But didn't Fusion already make a thread asking and Will said okay?

Or was that just an okay for using the species?

That was just the thread for the species.

Not really, and I have a couple reasons why.

1: She's the only seeming survivor of her species. It would give the Jedi an opportunity to study her, find out where she came from, and possibly prevent another true Sith resurgence.

2: Yes, she could fall to the Dark Side, but then again, so could the majority of the current Jedi were they tempted in a certain manner. Her whole thing is about balancing on the fine line and not falling into darkness.

Is there almost no chance that something like this would happen in the comics/books/other canonical stuff? Yes, but there's still a minute chance. So long as that chance exists, the plausibility of the character is never truly out of the question.

Besides, I didn't go into explicit detail about what happened to the Purebloods left on the station. Perhaps they actually relearned more light-sided qualities such as kindness, compassion, or self-sacrifice. Would explain the bio a bit better, but I didn't want to elaborate on it in case someone else attempted to create a Pureblood character.

They do have a natural affinity for the Dark Side. Its what they thrive on. It was said they had a symbiotic relationship withy Korriban because they thrived and grew on the planets darkness, and in turn replenished the dark side.

You've also got a super rare lightsaber crystail (kaibur) and a lightsaber crystal that amplifies and focuses Dark Side energy and only works for Darksiders. You quite literally could not be a Jedi serving the light while using Quionix(sp)

There's simply no way for a Sith Pureblood, a being of Darkness, to join the Jedi. It's not a question of nature vs nurture, their innate physiology *is* the Dark Side.

Oh eek a kaiburr shard.

I always thought Luke was pervy. Isn't there only one kaiburr crystal in existence and it was Luke's by the end of the storyline involving it?

True that, also

Wookiepedia said:
However, unbeknownst to any members of the party, the crystal lost its power as it left the proximity of the temple and was completely powerless once off-planet.

This can be considered for the original, pure Sith species, and possibly even the hybrid Sith/Dark Jedi species, but I believe that over time, the symbiotic connection to the Dark Side that the descendents of the Sith on that space station possibly would've had would be significantly reduced.

You've also got a super rare lightsaber crystail (kaibur) and a lightsaber crystal that amplifies and focuses Dark Side energy and only works for Darksiders. You quite literally could not be a Jedi serving the light while using Quixoni

Yes, I could probably change that, but I could've sworn that one of the Jedi characters I saw had Quixoni crystals in their lightsaber. Might've been mistaken, though...

The point seen underneath the first quote section I would feel applies here. The fact that these Sith, on a space station, are far away from a nexus of Dark Side energy which to go into symbiosis with, would've caused them to quite possibly adapt from their original state in that manner. We're talking thousands of years between their ancestors coming to the station, and her birth.

Basically, my whole thing centers on the following points, which may or may not be taken with a grain of salt depending on your view of the situation.

1: High chance of adaptation of the Sith on board the station due to time(thousands of years), a cultural flaw(lack of a Dark Side nexus), and possibly other reasons.
2: The apparent re-breeding in of kinder traits(Why did her parents send her out of the escape pod and not save themselves?).
3: The minor amount of exposure to the Dark Side she herself would've had(she spent only 7 years on board the station, compared to spending the rest of her life up until recently with her adopted family on Roxuli.).

This may leave only a chance of plausibility, but well...

I'd take the Kaibur and Qixoni out, as pointed by the Rom and Xyrael

They left Ziost and Korriban for a thousand years, and became even more powerful in their return. They corrupt the Force because they have a natural proclivity towards the Dark side.

If the admins don't see it as an issue than I wish you luck with the character, I just have a problem with changing the innate physiology of a species to suit ideology.
