Carrick wasn't hurt but he wasn't as fresh as he had been because bursting out of the floor was kind of a taxing move with the Force. But he wasn't hurt because his Mando friend had been a dab hand at a blaster. He grinned a little bit and patted his chest with one hand, eyeing the Mando for a moment before winking.
"I'm fine but you're welcome to check me for wounds later." he encouraged her with another rougish grin, "Pays to be thorough."
Still flirting.
Both of them in fact as she decided to keep going and he was never one to step back from such a blatent challenge. He smirked ever so slightly and eyed her from the corner of his eye as he made sure he still had all his equipment. Still had everything, which meant they were ready to get moving.
Provided the good senator had not, in fact, soiled himself.
"I love a driven woman."
Leading the way this time, he drew his vibrosword rather than his lightsaber despite the hilt prominently displayed on his waist. Instead he went with the sword and the pistol combination as he headed through the halls with confidence. He didn't skulk from one corner to the next so much as he strode down the halls with his back straight and his footing confident.
As if he owned the place.
"I can feel them through the Force but they are... slippery." he explained to his companions, "More often than not I can only tell where they are because they have mental defenses and they tend to be pretty rare. There are... five in the hanger right now."
Arriving at the doors to the hanger, he paused for a moment before turning back to his allies.
"Anyone have a plan? We could always try 'get help'."
