Is Tràkata considered a full form, or could it be used partially as well as another form (eg Soresu) (With the one form limit)

How could it be a form when all your doing is turning on and off a saber?

It's more a style that one can weave into their own form in order to put an enemy off their guard than anything else.

Trakata isn't so much a style as it is a combat method or tactic, like a rabbit punch or a groin kick.

Form VIII: Whatchamacallit, "Way of the Rabbit" or Groin Kick Form. :CRawr

K cool, thanks.

@ Matt: It's listed as an unorthodox combat form on Wookieepedia, just wanted to see how it fitted in with the restrictions on SWRP.

This is relevant to my interests.

I'm glad I won't have to ask the same question two or three months from now. :bitchez

It could be molded into a form based on tapping pressure points, but instead, stabbing with a lightsaber. There are martial arts based entirely around pressure points, and the way I see it, you could easily do the same with a lightsaber, although it wouldn't be very effective in a duel, as it would compare to an unnarmed monk trying to stun a swordsman with the tip of his fingers. Your character would likely need the natural ability of speed, plus decades of training and refinement before a showdown against a boneafied swordsman.

Having said that, I think you should just impliment it as a maneuver or combat device, not an entire form.

I planned on creating an entire form around Trakata. Perhaps (anyone interested) we could get together to hammer something out?
