Oh yes those parts of star wars' physics make sense. However EVERYTHING ELSE does not. Mobile life support suits, triple amputee with third degree burns actually surviving on liquid meals, plasma swords, and the force. It doesn't make any sense. Some parts do, most do not.
Edit: Correction, we do understand how all of it is done, it is just not possible.
Most of what you just cited isn't physics, rather, they are technological and medical flaws. In fact, calling them 'flaws' isn't really fair, because real world technology could theoretically advance far enough to enable the creation of mobile life support suits, and medical technology could easily enable a triple amputee with third degree burns to survive. Plasma swords are actually physically possible, we just have no power supplies, materials, or magnetic field generators currently up to the task of generating and containing a plasma blade of useful size for any practical length of time.
As for the Force and the FTL drives in Star Wars, now that's just plain silly.
