When she opened her eye for the third time, it was not pleasant. It stank. Literally.
Wrinkling her nose in mute horror at what she was smelling, she stared at the gray sky overhead, the tall spires reaching up into that stormy sky. She was sore, but otherwise... ok. She was wearing a frustratingly formal dress uniform, one which bound tightly on her small breasts and her butt, in an uncomfortable and somewhat embarrassing way. She vaguely remembered hating it, and had to agree with herself.
Still, it was a part of who she had been once. Or... someone had been once.
With a sigh, she pulled herself up into a sitting position, and glanced at what she was sitting on. Yes. Bags of restaurant trash. Luckily sealed plastic, but still the smell was quite potent, this close. Hopping off her throne of trash, she stretched, glancing around the alleyway. This was a nicer part of town, it looked like... but everything was... so much more... everything, really.
She couldn't remember exactly how she got here. She vaguely felt there was something important she had just forgotten. How was she here, or alive... Everything was slightly fuzzy, except that she was Adara Kalai, and definitely not.
With a sigh, she stared up at the sky. What to do?
