On account of them all looking the same I didn't really find any of them attractive.

I think you have the wrong thread, Trippin'. I believe this is the thread you're lookin' for. Le clicky<----

I can't wait for track and field to start. Oh and soccer too.
How about it for the American women's team? Go Misty May-Treanor & Kerri Walsh!

Watch badminton. Seriously. They hit that thing so hard I can't keep up with it.

I was also surprised that Michael Phelps didn't even medal in one of his swimming events. It looked like he would come out with a bronze at least. I've also watched the women's soccer team own Colombia. The men's didn't even qualify at all; it was shameful in the way they didn't.

Phelps was a weird one wasn't it? He was more fish than man 4 years ago.

Not really no. He didn't train very hard in the interim. He deserved to lose. All that can really be said.

The gymnastics events were pretty impressive, and I liked Tennis prelims. I always choose one other country other than the US to root for, and I'm thinking I might go for Tuvalu or those wacky indies. They made me chuckle during the Olympic opening.

I wouldn't be surprised if that became a point of contention. Because ganja is evil and whatnot.

Anyone see how Japan went form no medal to having a silver in the gymnastics?

Some berk fell off the horse then moaned about it and got given more points!

Bloody Japanese.

Oh with the pommel horse? That seemed okay. I wouldn't be too sad if I were British. Isn't this like your first medal in men's gymnastics or something? We really botched our performance. So take heart.

Yeah it was.

We seem to be very very rubbish at certain things and very very good at other things.

Hopefully we can finish 4th like last time. No one can get near the Russians, Yanks and Chinese.

Good day for the French.

3 gold medals in the pool which is one off all the gold medals they've won in 100 years in swimming.

Work that one out.

Michael Phelps beat an Olympic record set by a Soviet gymnast tonight. The Cold War is officially over.

Men's pommel horse was horrific. Most of them hadn't even mastered the skills required to even get a good possible score (16.000) and FALLING OFF IN THE OLYMPICS? When I was a gymnast, if my coach thought I would fall off the horse in a competition on a certain skill then he'd tell me to not even try the skill, take a low score, and train harder for next competition. I didn't get to try skills in a completion that I hadn't mastered training. Point being, these guy's should've mastered their pommels routines, and clearly they hadn't.
Really freaking POed that we botched pommels, I love that event.

Britian should've won silver as well.

Ugh, Matt-matt!
What Cassa said.

Folks pretty please wrap your Olympic race results and etc spoiler tags. Folks, like me, don’t get to SEE the matches after it’s occurred. :/
