[Biography]
Abandoned by his father when he was only an infant, Lorven was brought up by his mother. A cold and unpleasant person, his mother subjected him to regular beatings and other punishments. His harsh upbringing has shaped him into a surly individual. The jovial side to his personality only becomes apparent after a drink or two (not that he would stop at two).
Having frequently found himself in trouble as a teenager, Lorven fell into security and mercenary work as a young adult. A stocky and powerfully built man, he was ideal for such work. Taking part in combat against pirates and various small criminal groups, he drifted around the outer rim seeking jobs wherever he could find them. Eventually he settled down in a position as a police chief in a small outer rim colony. He revelled in the position, enforcing strict rules and dealing out harsh punishments. Much to the relief of the colonists, he successfully applied for a position in imperial law enforcement after a few years in the colony. Diligent and hardworking, he has gradually worked his way up to the rank of lieutenant. While not necessarily a very intelligent person (average at best), he is fiercely devoted to his duties and has proven himself to be a competent law enforcement official. He is a member of the Imperial Peacekeepers.
