- So, there's something the Blackened jet empire members are known for...Swoop bikes, they love 'em, and they usually are the best at them. So, you're going to take part of their latest swoop bike race, you're going to proudly announce that you are under the employ of Gareth Gin of the Zaa Fenn and that you're going to beat their sorry asses. The objective is simple, I want at least one of you ending in first place and humilliating the rest of them. Violence against the Jet Empire kriffers is not only advisable, but also an objective, winning isn't enough, kill, hurt and throw as many people off their swoop bikes as possible, okay? Blasters might not be allowed during the race, but you can get creative.
Kara Lok had received a personal invite for this race. Not to participate, mind you, but to attend out of some weird sign of respect by the Blackened Jets. Some time ago she had made a deal with these Barabels they both profited from and with the Zaa Fenn Crime Family being solidly on top in the Coruscant foodchain these days, they didn't want to risk the insult of not inviting one of their ringleaders. As far as ringleaders went, Kara was definitely one of the more succesful ones at that. She had her own crew of impressive gunslingers and many skilled mercenaries on call, but the thing that most impressed the locals was the talk about her scamming the Sith Empire out of ten million credits like it was nothing. A small strike for them killing Preef Callo, but a strike nonetheless.
Gareth Gin, one of the original Zaa Fenn family members under Preef Callo and Marissa Hesse, wanted to hurt the Barabels that ran the Blackened Jet Empire and take over their turf. Kara, ofcourse, complied and hired a skilled pilot she happened to have the contact info for. The swoop with which he could enter was the best credits could buy and enhanced by Zaa Fenn mechanics. Needless to say that even a moderately skilled swooper could get on the podium with this one. That, however, wasn't the goal here. Well, not just, so it was also outfitted with mean spikes to the sides as "decorative ornaments" and hidden underneath the Devaronian's seat would be a stun baton. Because why leave anything to chance?
Kara was waiting for Pellios just outside the venue. One large weequay bodyguard flanked her, courtesy of the Lower Level Bouncers (LLB), as she lazily dangled a stim between her lips. "He's late," she complained to her bodyguard, "Gareth is gonna kill me if this guy is slow as kriff."
