Malani Vu vs. Link Nono

[Mr. Crunchy]

Malani walked into the great hall, hands pressed together. Her violet lightsaber was clipped to her side, and she was wearing beautifully ornate orange robes. She was to duel a Jedi Knight - peacefully, to re-affirm herself with her lightsaber skills against another force wielder. She waited, standing completely still, unmoving except for the tiny sounds and slow rhythmic pulsing on her chest caused by her breath.

 

[Zen]

Link Nono entered the Area, already bored and didn't enjoy fight he made his way towards the other side option of her and bowed respectfully.He held his hands behind his back and waited for her to do, her move first before speaking."Ladies, First." HE said calmly.

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

Malani gave a tiny smile at the Jedi's 'courtesy'. Without warning, she ignited her violet lightsaber and charged, running forward aided by the Force. She jumped slashing down with an extremely powerful thrust at Link, before spinning around and attacking again. She was using Djem So, the offensive variant of Form V.

 

[Zen]

Charging at him was dumb, She should have used the force at the first attacked. He glared at her and waited for the right time to strike, once she had come close enough he used the force to try and trip her while, He Moved back wards with a distance from her.

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

Malani's leg was caught, but she merely used this to her advantage. As both legs of hers were pushed, she jumped, effectively achieving a forward roll. Rolling back onto her feet, she got into the Makashi opening stance in front of Link. She gave a little smile, and beckoned him to attack her.

 

[Zen]

He moved back wards quicker, this time. Getting distance from her. He was oblivious not attacking her, He had his hands, on his back crossed not to mock her, but to say in reply that he was not using his lightsaber.

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

"This is a duel, so duel me," Malani spoke for the first time, raising an eyebrow, and keeping up her guard. Without warning, she attempted to Force Pull him right into her, this would hopefully catch him completely off guard as he would not be ready for such a violent and sudden attack. If successful, she would thrust forward and stab him.

 

[Zen]

Link grinned, he had felt the force move through the air, Being a Force and Healing Specialization had it's ups, and even downs.He took out his hands, and absorbed the pull for extra energy but was caught off guard as the attack came, stronger then he thought, he was zoomed at her, he unable his speed, and broke the pull once he was close enough to easily flip over her and evade any major injures, once he was behind her, he pulled out his lightsaber and her it at her spine."You lost, catching me by surprise while at distance, using force attack won't help you, I was waiting for those. You in the other hand had, pulled a big one. Putting more force power so I was incapable of absorbing it, I win, If i flick this lightsaber down your spine you die." Link said calmly.

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

Yet again, Malani smiled. Before Link could even begin to talk, she span around and viciously clashed with his lightsaber with a powerful Makashi slash.

 

[Zen]

He blocked the saber strangling badly, he did not expect this to happen.He begun to speak."You won the match, I forfeit."He said, holding the clash.

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

Malani gave a curious tilt of her head. "You look stressed, want to come for a drink?" She asked, hoping to make peace with the Knight.

 

[Zen]

He looked at her his saber still held in place just in case she choose to do a cheap move. But, He lowered it a bit still touching her saber."I'rd Love that, But may you please please your saber down, you have already won the match." He said slowly,

 

[Mr. Crunchy]

Malani smiled, twirling her lightsaber back into its' hilt. "No hard feelings," She said simply, walking out of the arena.
