Im planning on tagging along Weiss' Misfits but am willing to assist Mando's where possible. Dont have a profile created yet but will be an indy smuggler if you need it.

Could get stranded near one of/between the clans with an armament of smuggled goods or food go from there.

Made my start. Don't know if I will fan out and go with a different clan, that Vizsla one is getting kind of full. Then again maybe that's a good thing?

We haven't touched too much onto the clan hierarchy. We're basically treating it as an extended family at the moment, I'm sure there's a leader or a head of family but we don't have any names.

Here is my character link! He is a member of the Accord but I'm sure there will be more than a few chances to link up with you guys in this kind of Mandalorian Unification Arc! It also puts Clan Tsuani on the list and means I don't have to write out two Mandalorian characters for this timeline.

I was actually talking about this earlier I believe on skype with Galavant. My notion is that as a whole most of the clans aren't unified but they aren't actively at war with each other, however each clan is large enough you might get some skirmishes in the peripherals. This way each player can have the option to decide if they've worked with other clans and had good relations or bad ones. So for the most part the clans are kind of doing their own thing, sometimes they help each other out, sometimes they fight, but nothing major or committed. But as a whole there is no true Mandalore or leader, at least not one who has actual command over the clans and what they do. I am curious to hear what others might think, though.

Yeah i think that initially when i joined the site and began preparing for he new timeline I was very much set in my ways that firstly mandalorians were a culture of conquest and battle and secondly that they would NEVER find themselves doing stupid tasks such as being doctors or armourers. That has all changed and I think that the mandalorians are at this pivotal moment in their culture, the need for democracy being there but also them not wanting to lose their roots.

The mandalorians are no longer this huge superpower. They are normal people who live normal lives but I'd like to think that some of the culture has survived. That strength is admired rather than required now, that everyone in the culture plays an important role regardless if they sell medicine or train the Mandalorian armies.

Imagine a member of the British Army. A highly trained soldier who has the skills and the ability to mobilize at any given moment anywhere in the world. However aside from every member being first and foremost a soldier, they have professions. Some are relief workers, others work as engineers while others do tasks such as cooks and chefs. Every member is first and foremost a soldier, but they are also something more. I think the leadership would be the same, while you have those who are more experienced maybe have a higher rank at the end of the day you all have this one unifying bond which is. You all soldiers.

Between the clans, maybe there are some arguments, fighting etc. but when all the cards are on the table I'd think that everyone would have everyone's back.

I'm planning on making an original species/homeworld for a character and as such i'd assume those need to be approved first. that being said i love mandalorians but ironically i don't have any characters yet. i'm thinking my Sustenian (original species) character could find his way to the mandalorian culture but i'm not sure how he'd get there. he and species are all in a disorganized bunch of posts in my DOTR workshop thread in my signature.
