Ronan looked from the pond of bubbling water and then back to Hailee. He shed his robe and then took off the rest of his clothes until he was in his underwear. He was a little self-conscious but gave Hailee a smirk before diving smoothly into the bubbling water. He let out a breath underwater, savoring the caress of the hot water on his sore skin.

She never had any issues with her own confidence but she had to admit that this moment was a bit...tense again. She was relieved when he took the first step, shedding most of his clothes and diving into the water. She used his sudden movement to get rid of her own clothes, quickly taking off everything but her underclothes and then jumping in elegantly right after him. The heat of the water enclosed her immediately and luckily it had just the right temperature to relaxe her muscles. She swan towards the ponds end in one stroke and grabbed the bottle, taking just another sip. She wanted to feel light-headed, not drunk, but with a smirk she also offered it to him. "Wanna fill up again? We don't want you to sober up, right?" she teased him devilishly grinning, clearly referring to his doings from last night.

By the time Ronan surfaced, Hailee had jumped into the water; he only caught a flash of pale skin. "Haha, very funny." he said rolling his eyes. "I think I am done drinking for a while, but feel free, help yourself. I have never had so much alcohol disappear from my stock in such a short period of time," he teased her back.

She immediately shot him an overdramatic look. "Excuse me Mister? You have always been the one seducing me to drink" she explained half honest, half laughing. It was kind of true, but she had never refused to drink until yesterday. Right now, she could already feel the effects of the alcohol in her system and she enjoying the loosening up part. She leaned back, letting her body float weightlessly.

"I have not seduced you to do anything," he said, leaning against the hard edge of the pond, stretching out his arms on either side of him. The water did feel really nice and his headache was dulled a little.

She stared at him in disbelief. Oh he couldn't be serious. He must know that in fact he was the one to blame. "Oh yes you did. Do not play the innocent" she warned him still smirking. He seemed to relax, while a seemingly funny idea was starting to form inside her head. Without thinking twice, she dived her arms into the hot water and splashed him vigorously, giggling as she did. She knew it was childish but his denying of the truth had to be punished somehow and his face was already starting to dry.

"Oh you little-" he started, shaking his head like a dog. Water droplets sprayed everywhere. He shoved the water with his hand and splashed Hailee back, just as vigorously. "Why you gotta be like that?"

Hailee couldn't help but to laugh wholeheartedly. So they were finally having some fun. It was a pleasant suprise. "Why do I have to be like what?" she asked curiously, tilting her head to the side, giving him a completely innocent, sweet look. Was he falling back into his stern, grumpy state again? She hoped not.

"Why do you have to turn something into something else and then play all sweet and innocent," Ronan elaborated, flicking a smaller splash of water in Hailee's direction. He was actually having fun, or at least that's what he thought it was; he hadn't felt this happy since before his brother disappeared.

She still glared at him completely innocently, her eyes wide and sweet. " I am all sweet and innocent" she insisted sweetly. She waited patiently. Just a little while longer. And then she attacked. She shoved huge waves of water in his direction, hoping to catch him fully unprepared. Coming here was a great idea, she now knew.

Ronan didn't duck in time for Hailee's onslaught of splashing. An idea occurred to him and he ducked under water, knowing Hailee couldn't see him through the white water she was making. He opened his eyes under the water, ignoring the sting, and watched her from under the springs as she finally stopped splashing him. He smirked to himself.

Hailee was a little suprised by his sudden diving. What was he trying to do? She knew that he was probably planing his revenge and so she waited patiently for him to return. She stopped her splashing to save her strength and tried to see his silhouette under the clearing water. "I know what you're doing" she declared with a wide smirk, hoping he would hear her.

Ronan stayed near the bottom. He thrashed a little and let out some bubbles as if he was drowning. He knew the water was to hot to be able to see to the bottom clearly.

She could only see some blurry outlines of his silhouette and she therefore could not see what he was doing. But her foggy, slightly drunk brain was starting to worry again. He had been underwater for quite some time and that made her nervous. "Ronan...that's not funny" she warned him, her voice growing more serious. And then she couldn't stand it any longer. She slowly stepped forward, hoping for some movement and if it wouldn't come she would pull him out herself.

Ronan swam slowly up behind Hailee so as not to alert her yet, and then popped out of the water behind her, wrapping his arms around her bare stomach. "Ha," he whispered in her ear.

She glared into the opaque water, her head slightly spinning from the rum she had downed already. Was he all right though? She felt more nervous every second, impatiently waiting for him to show any sign of him still being alive, but when she decided to dive down, she suddenly felt his hands all around her and his hot breath right at her ear. "Oh damn it Ronan! You scared me!"she complained loudly, not at all started by his sudden touch and she began to wonder why. She didn't feel the need to push him away, which she would have normally done. There was something strangely pleasing about the body contact.

Ronan laughed softly. "I know," he said. He didn't know if he should let go now; she hadn't pulled away. He was also a little distracted when she said his name. The way it sounded in her voice... he could listen to her talk all day. He blinked a couple of times. Why was he feeling like this? Why was it so... soothing to be close to her, to hold her?

Even though she couldn't understand her own reasons, she just decided to focus on the fact that his presence was just making her feel good right now. She enjoyed being close to him, this time with far less clothes than on the ship and with that soothing feeling in her head she leaned back, her naked skin touching his. "You're evil sometimes. I hope you know" she told him softly, but still a little accusingly while she leaned her head against his bare chest, while she felt her heartbeat fasten.

Ronan smiled when she leaned her head on his chest; and it wasn't one of his trademark smirks; it was a shaky, shocked, genuinely happy smile. "I do," he murmured, spreading his fingers so his hands were splayed over her stomach.

It was the first time that Hailee could sense an actual warmth in his words. He seemed happy right now. And relaxed. And simply glad to be here. And so did she. She genuinely enjoyed the moment and this was whybshe didn't want it to end. She had no idea what was happening but it seemed as though her feelings were getting the upper hand over her wit. She softly put her hands above his, gently caressing his skin, smirking over his response. She slowly turned around though, letting his hands move from her front to her back, looking him deep into his beautifully deep eyes. She wanted to say something but suddenly she felt speechless. Thus whole situation left her speechless, but in a rather positive way.
