Say that it's not a magical hack-all device? Why should I have to? Why do you automatically assume I created the Oracle so I could screw people over without them being able to do anything about it? Writing out every single thing I can and can't do looks unattractive. I much prefer to write things out and let people figure things out from the context of what I write. Creating a list of things it can and can't do just looks boring.
~It has all the limitations and advantages a device should have. It can't interact with something that isn't accepting data. It can't interact with something not connected to a network. It can't override manually installed safety features. It can't instantly take control of all the systems on a ship it's never hacked before. So on and so forth.
