BIOGRAPHY

Born in Corellia, Mikko is the only child of Joric and Mina Falco. He was their hopeful inheritor to a rising tech enterprise in their homeworld. They discovered his attunement to the Force at an early age and feared what this might mean for their son's future. In his teenage years Mikko was sent to the Jedi under his own impression that he'd be back home after a few weeks of feeding his curiosities - and was devastated to find out that his parents could not join him in travel. Alone but with a sense of excitement, he joined the Jedi on Yavin IV with no intention to commit.

A week before his planned return home, news from Corellia arrived. Joric and Mina Falco have been sentenced to years of prison, for dealing with crime syndicates in the Core. Mikko learned that his parents have been facing trial ever since he was sent away. Many relatives from home immediately invited him under their care. He ignored all their invitations and remained with the Jedi for the meantime. He decided to keep his family matters to himself, and claimed that he stayed to learn more. Soon he was taken on as a Padawan. Weeks turned into months that turned into years of training in the ways of the Force and sharpening his skill in lightsaber combat. In time he was absorbing the teachings and views of the Jedi until he realized that despite his initial motives, he had truly grown to become one of them. He recently became a Knight after all those years, and set off with the hope that his actions will change the galaxy towards becoming a place where nobody had to turn to crime to live well.

PERSONALITY

Even before meeting the Jedi, Mikko was raised to be headstrong, a quality that sometimes emerges as stubborn. Thanks to experience, he keeps reservations before giving his full trust to those around him. Nevertheless, he sees the value of every being and creature, would gladly stand beside his peers for the right cause, and can connect well if he actually chooses to. Above all, Mikko values rules and order, which can sometimes make him come off as rigid. Even in aggressive moments, he practices restraint. These principles, he believes, should be held up by every Jedi.

SKILLS

Mikko shines brightest through his lightsaber combat using Ataru (Form IV) thanks to his smaller yet hardened frame, which lets him take advantage of his agility for both offense and defense. He is well-practiced in the other forms of lightsaber combat, but would struggle to get an advantage using them. To complement his favored dueling style, Mikko utilizes Force powers sparingly yet skillfully when called for. He is most particularly skilled in using them to enhance his athletic abilities. Additionally, his value and understanding of creatures and animals allows him to have a stronger connection to them through the Force. On the other hand, he lacks talent in stealth and persuasion, even with the aid of the Force. His reserved attitude also serves as an obstacle for any chance of him being a decent diplomat for the Jedi, but he will happily make up for it on the battlefield.
