NAME: Mirdala'runi ca Beviin
FACTION: Waste Rangers, Mercenaries United
RANK: Shadow Ranger, Intelligence/Mercenary respectively
AGE: 26 (post time-skip)
GENDER: Female
HEIGHT: 5'9" (1.76m)
WEIGHT: 118 lb.
EYES: Blue
HAIR: Dark brown/black
SKIN: Pale
CREDITS: 1,000 credits
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Scar over right eye (usually covered by hair)
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

STRENGTH: Miri's strength is only average; constant fitness routines keep her fit, but her build isn't made for much muscle. 4/10
DEXTERITY: Her lighter frame and slim weight allow her to move quite quickly and with amazing alacrity. 7/10
CONSTITUTION: Strict regimen of nutrition, excersize and training keep her in exquisite health. 8/10
INTELLIGENCE: Relying on her wits rather than her battle prowess, she is smart, sharp and intuitive. 8/10
WISDOM: Still young with much battle ahead of her, she isn't very wise. 3/10
CHARISMA: Beautiful some would say, but without intent to use it to her advantage (coupled with her quiet personality), she has potential, but its untapped. 3/10

FORCE POWERS:
Not applicable

SKILLS:
Mirdala'runi has top-notch intrusion, encryption and code-breaking skills. She is well versed in security protocols for a stunning array of computer systems. She has an extensive understanding of droid and ship mechanics as well as a good catalog of explosives types. Mirdala'runi is also well-trained for stealth movement and basic assassination techniques. Lastly, she has flown or knows how to fly a wide variety of ships.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Trained in only basic sword form. More teaching required for adequate rating. Adversely, well trained in the specifics of blade placement for quick and silent neutralization of a given target.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths: Sharp mind, keen senses and an impeccable memory retention rate make her slicing skills razor sharp. She is also highly dexterous, an advantage given her middling physical strength. She can keep a cool head in the most heated of situations and can fly a plethora of craft types. She can make as deadly a bomb as needed given scant material to work with. She can move stealthily and perform silent take-downs with her wrist-mounted blades to effectively neutralize an enemy without detection.

Weaknesses: Miri isn't very strong; she is capable of only below to average feats of strength. She also has a tendency for "tunnel vision", in that once focused on a task or objective, she can lose sight of other tasks or, even more dangerously, situational awareness. She is also only an average hand-to-hand combatant, lacking extensive training and strength necessary for effective close-quarters combat. Lastly, she can be very stubborn, mistrusting and not very sociable.

GEAR:
Mirdala'runi chose to replace the repulsor pack of her mother's with an elaborate and advanced communications pack with integrated slicing tools and software as well as experimental communications monitoring code. She carries a holdout blaster, a mid-range blaster rifle and two wrist-mounted blades at about short-sword length. An advanced minicom is attached to her left wrist over the blade housing. At any given time, she carries one thermal detonator and six small detonation packs as well as a spare powercell for her pistol, a spare powercell for her assault rifle and a Tanaabian candy bar. Always.

SHIP:
Mirdala'runi possesses an aging Kar'kad-class "StarBlade" Space Superiority Fighter. As it was originally quite battered when she acquired it, the ship is missing most of its paint and had to have a number of its sensor packages replaced. Currently, it still needs fine-tuning, a paint job and a replacement emergency powercell as well as a few replacement hull panels.

DROIDS:
No droids

PETS:
No pets

PERSONALITY:
This girl is not rude or mean or insensitive. However, this is the impression some people get when meeting Mirdala'runi for the first time. She is introverted, quiet and highly observant. She can be humorous, but is often glib. She has an intensity to her and this can come off as brusqueness. She is very loyal, however, and has a strong sense of honor drilled into her since birth from a proud Mandolorian raising. Likewise, she has a clear sense of morality.

To be fair, she is also stubborn and headstrong. If she is certain her way is right, she will passionately argue the matter until the other party agrees or tells her to shut up. This hot-headedness does not detract from her strong sense of teamwork, however. She is approachable and even friendly once a person can get through her quiet nature. She is neutral about "scum" (pirates, thieves and a small select number of smugglers) but loathes cowards, a trait instilled in her by her father. Lastly, she avoids romantic entanglements and the problems they bring like blastonecrosis.

BIOGRAPHY:
Mirdala'runi (clever soul) Beviin was born to Raci'kal Beviin (pale knife) and unfortunately, her mother Sorya died in childbirth. Raci'kal was out of his depth, but proudly raised his child in the Mando'ade way. The girl would accompany him on lesser tasks and assignments where he could both, teach her and keep an eye on her. Being a man of few words, it is no wonder Mirdala'runi--Miri for short or Dala when Raci'kal was pissed--also grew up fairly quiet. Early on, it was easy to see she would not be a very social person.

Miri's father did his best to teach his daughter the art of combat when the two had spare time. Ranged weaponry, hand to hand combat and weapons proficiency were areas he pushed her to learn. However, the girl was much happier disassembling a weapon, rebuilding a droid or spending long hours on computer equipment. Seeing the girl's talents lied in areas other than directly shedding blood, Raci'kal changed her learning regimen. He instead brought her obscure or high-profile comms equipment, computer gear and, eventually, tools bartered for that included slicing kits, demolitions satchels, navicomputers and even a dismantled speeder.

Miri excelled in the technical; she could perceive the ways things fit together and could see the quickest way to disassemble them. She quickly collected a large vocabulary of slicing techniques and computer coding. Though she greatly enjoyed the expansion of her skills in these engineer areas, her father continued to pressure her into mastering at least a few areas of combat. As such, she became a marksman with small arms (from small blasters to light assault rifles) and displayed an affinity for short blades and stealth. Finally, when old enough, she was given her mother's armor--which she modified and customized immediately, of course--and allowed to join in her father's missions.

To this day, she has wearied of the Mandolorian scramble for power, opting to remain out of their space and aloof of their clan battles. While her father greatly disapproves of this choice in non-action, he understands her disgust in what feels like pointless battle after pointless battle. Instead, Mirdala'runi will operate independently of the famed Beviin name, instead hoping to make her own.

As of late, she has earned and kept the nickname "wolf" in regards to her unique skill-set. Often, she will only appear in firefights or outright conflict for short periods of time; she is quickly given cover and deployed against "soft targets" including computers, electronic components or demolition sites. On the other hand, she can be tasked with approaching a target and quietly slipping a well-placed vibroblade into a throat or a thorax. The other half of the earning of that nickname is her continued desire to earn the Aliik be Alii'oya someday, the Mark of the Wolf, to follow her father's footsteps (the mark being one of his proudest achievements in life). Granted, with the current state of affairs, this might be unrealistic, but its something she thinks about. An enemy in the know, upon hearing "be on the lookout for the wolf", would do well to expect sabotage, system failure...or a blade between the ribs.

Either way, what bliss.

I would be willing to duel her. Also, take note that if this is a post-skip character, then you can't really be a Mando, because the Mandos won't really be a faction after the time-skip.

I see no reason she can't be a Mando post skip. They're going to be a much smaller faction, but still there. Another option is an Ex-Mando Merc/Bounty Hunter, easy enough to work into a large number of RPs.

Thanks for the inputs guys! I get that the Mandos won't be much to poke a 'saber at post-skip, but still dedicated =) I figure the char would in fact end up going merc, but would def work towards restoring Mando glory where possible and maybe even try and take a poke at the Sithies/Imps here and there where she can get away with it and not be, you know, hunted down like a friggin kathhound XD

Might take you up on that. Also want the char to be flexible enough to take jobs a la independent contractor (ie, hunt for the hutts, protect for the private sector, etc). But if Servana is doing active work in favor of the Rebels, I'm sure a lot of her time/effort would go to them

Go read Servana Inc.'s write-up to see what it's all about. See the Servana Inc. Roster to find a good rank for yourself if you are interested. (And yes, Servana Inc. will be doing work in favor of the Rebels)

Just some points about the Mandos, which you might need to know if you want to make them part of the clans. While we are being splintered (and in my eyes, completely neutered) post time skip, many Mandalorian Clans will be reverting back to the old way of life. That is, gun for hire. That means bounty hunting, mercenary work, and anything else that will establish a decent cash flow. My Clan in particular is going to be dedicated solely to these parts of warfare, along with some of the aspects of war that happen in the shadows.

Also, While I have no problem with a Mandalorian being part of outside group while remaining in their clan (after all, one needs to keep the coffers full), I would have a problem with a Mando who joins a group that goes against the tenets. These tenets are hammered into a Mandalorian’s skull since birth, and is a deep part of their core ideology. Those who break the tenets are shunned, and in many cases declared dar’manda, and exiled from their clan and Mandalorian Society as whole. Case in point, The Death Watch.

Now, onto the profile. If you really want this character to be Mando, I would like to see a lot more about the verd’goten. No Mandalorian, whether an outsider or naturally born, is considered an adult and warrior until they have undergone the ritual. Training is great, but the truth is, not a single Mando cares until its demonstrated that the training can be put into action, and the warrior’s body pushed to and beyond its limits. This can take place in almost any way you want, as long as it is demonstrated that the recruit is ready to take their place as a warrior.

Anything from being dropped on a hostile planet and made to survive, while throwing a curveball into the task, to surviving a battle that they shouldn't have survived through tenacity, wit, and skill. Make it interesting, make it challenging, and make it a trial that shows that there is no doubt to the warrior’s ability to take their place in society.
