Emryc couldn’t help but follow Jaikus’ line of sight when the man appeared to be enthralled by the cooking show. When he saw the zoodles, his face lit up slightly, “I love that stuff,” He remarked with a grin, though the grin didn’t last too long. With a pang he was reminded of when he ate copious amounts of it when he was going through the breakup with Morgan. He reminded himself to eat the dish again in better context to keep from associating with that memory.

Thankfully, Jaikus had the perfect ways to distract him easily. His head tilted back slightly and he closed his eyes as the Axxilan grazed his nails against the back of his neck. There was a soft, satisfied groan that escaped him. Jaikus would be vaguely reminded of rubbing a dog’s belly and hearing the satisfied growls in response.

Silver gaze flicked open again as Jaikus spoke, the thought of the doll giving him pause, “But what if facing the doll lets us discover Temple of the Elders on Lehon?” He asked very matter of factly. However, he couldn’t keep his face straight for long, a grin breaking out.

He exhaled his breath sharply as Jaikus began to move around on his lap. This time he knew the man was doing it on purpose, catching the grin on his partner’s face. Emryc’s arms that were around his torso slid down the sides of his body to rest on his hips, very much encouraging the movement. He felt Jaikus slowly begin to slide his hand down, his body reacting to everything the man was doing.

“We do,” Emryc said quietly, returning the man’s grin with a matching one. Without warning, he pushed off from where he was sitting and toppled Jaikus onto his back on the couch seats. Emryc had a hand on either side of him to prop himself up as he gazed down at Jaikus. The grin remained on his face as he leaned in closer, “What did you have in mind?”

Jaikus quite literally hadn’t cooked a day in his life, and yet he seemed to be entirely transfixed onto the program for a few seconds – emerald eyes carefully watching the cooking-woman turn fresh zucchini’s into spiraling strips with some kind of tool.

..Do I have that tool at home?

The Axxilan didn’t actually know the answer to that question. Usually, meals at his penthouse were prepared by the droid that had serviced his family for decades. Aside from the occasional knife to cut something, Jaikus hadn’t actually gone digging through the cabinets or draws to confirm or deny if he had a zoodle-spiralizer.

..Does he have one?

Whether his partner realized it or not, Jaikus remembered how much Emryc liked the vegetable noodles from before, recalling the copious amounts of them that his partner had consumed back at that apartment. It seemed at least somewhat likely that the half-Sephi had the equipment to make the damn things.

His gaze continued to linger for a few moments more, noting that the present recipe looked significantly nicer than the boxed stuff Emryc had enjoyed months ago. He couldn’t help but smile when his partner made his remark about the zoodles. It was confirmation that he was absolutely going to be rewatching that particular episode.

His attention was drawn away as he began to graze his fingernails against Emryc’s neck, smiling at the satisfied groans that escaped from his partner. He knew that was a little weakness, just like the ears, and he honed it on it expertly – drawing little figure eights against his partner’s skin as he scratched. Jaikus paused when Emryc spoke again, posing what turned out to be a very uncomfortable question.

He blinked a few times, narrowing his eyes at the thought of the doll but seeming almost giddy at the thought of rediscovering the temple of Elders. “Then I will be exceptionally grumpy the entire time,” He said matter of factly.

He didn’t linger on that topic for long – instead focusing his attention onto grinding in his partner’s lap, moving his hips at a hypnotic pace. One hand wrapped around Emryc’s neck, while the other slipped below the waist, gliding along the half-Sephi’s stomach as he went. He didn’t stop there, slipping below the waistband of the half-Sephi’s shorts and finally arriving at his destination. Slender fingers grasped and maneuvered as he pleased, responding accordingly to every little reaction of his partner’s body. Jaikus leaned forward just then, capturing the half-Sephi’s lips for kiss, gently biting down against his bottom lip.

The embrace was only broken only when Emryc abruptly toppled them over, looming over the top once again. A mischievous grin tugged at the corners of the Axxilan’s lips, a renewed fire glinting in his eyes. “Enough to keep us busy for a while.” As he spoke, Jaikus slide a hand down along Emryc’s back – fingernails dragging until he moved lower, playfully grabbing at the half-Sephi’s rear almost possessively.

Without warning, Jaikus abruptly sprang up from the couch, pushing up on Emryc in an attempt to topple the half-Sephi back over. He knew full-well that the half-Sephi could resist everything he was doing, but a part of Jaikus knew at this point that he wouldn’t. Instead of putting Emryc onto his back with Jaikus on top, the Axxilan positioned his partner against the back of the couch, once more in a seated position – hands immediately moving to remove the man’s shirt.

From there, Jaikus leaned in close, beginning to plant light kisses along the half-Sephi’s neck, gradually trailing down his body. He carved a trail down his partner’s collar-bone, chest and stomach – gently grazing his teeth as he went. When he finally reached a bit lower, Jaikus brought his hands up to hooked into the man’s shorts, tugging them down well past the half-Sephi’s waist. Balancing on the balls of his feet, Jaikus continued to trail kisses lower, lips finally parting when he reached his destination.

The Axxilan remained entirely focused on what he was doing, hands gradually trailing upwards to dig fingers into the half-Sephi’s hips. Luckily, the chances of being interrupted in the middle of hyperspace were next to zero.

Emryc was largely oblivious to Jaikus’ internal musings about cooking, focusing entirely on the neck scratching that made him go limp in Jaikus' arms. He did not, in fact, own the tools to make zoodles. He didn’t know anything about cooking beyond steaming vegetables or making MREs. Instead he cracked a grin at Jaikus, “You are grumpy almost every mission,” He remarked in response. Every mission had featured at least one or two Jaikus tantrums and Emryc found them entertaining every time.

He felt the grasp against his rear, the action bringing a smile as he looked down at his partner. Jaikus was never shy about reminding Emryc about who he belonged to, the possessive actions always igniting a fire in him.

He was surprised when Jaikus abruptly pushed him back. There was a sudden glint of gold in his eyes, but it passed too quick to notice. His hand had almost begun to lift to clutch Jaikus by the throat, but he reeled it in, having far more control over Raze now where his emotions were concerned. He wasn’t used to being pushed around or having someone else take charge. It exhilarated him in ways he never expected, Jaikus once again managing to completely shatter the idea of defined roles. The half Sephi stared at him with slightly wide eyes, helping remove his own shirt as his blood ran hot.

Emryc closed his eyes as he felt the kisses along his neck as they traced down. His fingers curled into the Axxilan’s hair as he tilted his head back to gaze at the ceiling. He felt the kisses begin to go lower and he tilted his head back to watch his partner. Emryc gazed into those emerald eyes, felt every sensual touch, felt like putty in Jaikus' hands. It was a very new feeling for him and he relished every bit of it.

Before Jaikus could tug away at his shorts, however, Emryc placed his hands above the Axxilan’s to make him pause. The half Sephi gazed into his eyes for a moment, his heart racing. His ears twitched slightly as he eyed him for a moment, desire clear in the yellow tinted silvers that had slightly more yellow than before. When he spoke, he couldn’t keep the almost pleading tone out of his voice, “Will you dance for me, baby?”

Even as Jaikus abruptly pushed Emryc over, he was completely oblivious to Emryc silently reeling back and putting Raze in check. The Axxilan had never been afraid to take charge in these situations, doing what came most natural to him without any regard for the concept of defined roles. He never gave any such things any thought.

Instead, the Axxilan remained entirely focused on what he was doing. He flashed Emryc a grin when he helped to remove the shirt, tossing it aside before he began to continue down his partner’s body, trailing kisses against olive-skinned skin, stopping briefly as he dipped between the half-Sephi’s knees.

He brought his hands up to tug at the half-Sephi’s shorts, only to pause when he felt Emryc place a hand over the top of his own. Jaikus blinked a few times, immediately glancing up at his partner with a somewhat confused expression. He felt a brief pang of something – almost self-conscious that he had done something that Emryc wasn’t a fan off. Any such doubts quickly faded when he took a moment to at his partner. He clearly noted the way his ears twitched, as well at the clear desire that burned in his molted eyes.

When Emryc spoke, an almost pleading tone to his voice, Jaikus allowed a mischievous smile to creep up onto his lips. Without a word, began to trail kisses back up Emryc’s body – traversing the same path he’d carved, only now he moved in reverse. He quickly made his way back up to the half-Sephi’s lips, standing back up as he did so.

He leaned in to capture a brief kiss before taking a step backwards, briefly breaking eye-contact with Emryc. He reached out with the Force, summoning his data-pad from his pack and into his hands. He scrolled through the device for a few seconds before selecting a
song from a playlist, opting for it to play over the audio system of Emryc’s ship before tossing his datapad onto the couch. It was a style of music Emryc would recognize immediately, closely resembling what they had danced to back on Tatooine.

As the music started to play, Jaikus began to move his body as fluidly as he did on Tattooine. His hips beginning to sway hypnotically from side to side, his arms rising languidly from his sides, weaving through the air around him as he danced.

As he frequently did, Jaikus pointedly kept his eyes fixated onto Emryc the entire time, flames of desire for the half-Sephi – for the man that was his – burning bright behind those familiar emeralds. Even as his hips rolled and his torso undulated seductively to the music, Jaikus lowered his arms, hooking his thumbs into the hem of his shirt.

In one clean movement, Jaikus began to slowly trace his hands up his torso, dragging his fingers above his bare skin while peeling off the first article of clothing at the same time. His arms rose above his head and the tight-fitting shirt followed, loosely hanging off the tip of his thumb. His wrists rolled, casually tossing the shirt into the same pile as Emryc’s as the Axxilan began to snap his fingers to the music.

He took a step closer to his partner, hips and shoulders shimmying sensually as he moved, arms weaving through the air in almost serpentine manner. He came to linger only inches away from where Emryc was sitting before abruptly reaching forward, tugging on Emryc’s wrist and bringing the half-Sephi up to stand. Once his partner was on his feet, Jaikus lowered his hands once more, slowly unbuttoning his pants and allowing them to drop a little bit lower on his waist.

Just then, the Axxilan began to spin one-hundred-and-sixty-degrees slowly, his shoulders and hips swaying as he did so. At the same time, he slowly allowed his pants to slip further down his waist – utilizing the subtlest manipulation of the Force to peel the the fabric down his legs. He paused half-way through his rotation, lingering with his rear facing the half-Sephi for a moment, his hips suddenly rising and dropping with percussion bursts. He lingered for only a moment, glancing back over his shoulder as he continued with his rotation.

By the time Jaikus had turned back to face his partner, the second article of clothing had slipped down the rest of the way – removing the last barrier of clothing that the Axxilan wore. He slowly traced his fingers up his bare sides, rising once more in into the air as he resumed his dance.

After a few moments, the Axxilan flashed Emryc a grin, biting down onto his bottom lip as he stared at his partner. It was at this moment he decided to repeat a move he demonstrated all those months ago. Without warning, Jaikus leaned his weight onto the balls of his feet - slowly beginning to slither downward – his wrists twisting and weaving above his head as descended. Once he reached the bottom of his descent, just as he did on Tattooine, Jaikus slowly bent his torso backwards, his head lingering only a few inches above the ground, his body continuing to move hypnotically as he bent.

Instead of immediately rising back to his feet, Jaikus’s torso bent up from the ground and he lingered on the balls of his feet, around waist-level with the half-Sephi. Without warning, he leaned forward and moved in-between the half-Sephi’s knees, lips parting slightly as he latched onto his partner’s waistband with his front teeth. Just as he did back at the tent, the Axxilan playfully tugged on the fabric – tilting his eyes upwards to stare at his partner as he did so. He pointedly never broke eye contact with the half-Sephi, staring up with eyes burning with desire.

After a few moments, Jaikus allowed the fabric to snap back into place and he rose to his feet. As he resumed his dance, the Axxilan spun around so that his back was to his partner, his hips once more beginning to rise and drop in short, hypnotic bursts.

Emryc eyed Jaikus almost nervously after his request. He knew it was putting him on the spot, but his partner had never shied away from a challenge. The half Sephi leaned into the kiss as Jaikus passed, taking a moment to savor the taste of him before he drew back. Emryc watched in silence until music began, entirely transfixed as Jaikus began to move. It reminded him of Tatooine again, the day he had completely fallen in love with the way the Axxilan moved.

Jaikus was a work of art, every bit of his body mesmerizing as it swayed and teased. The man had strict and perfect control of every joint in his body, and they all moved in sync with the music. The passion in the singer’s voice carried through and manifested in the way Jaikus swayed and sensually rocked every part of him. A story unfolded before Emryc’s eyes, speaking of burning desires and wants. The half Sephi felt as if he were the only being in the galaxy with the way Jaikus looked at him and danced.

He watched Jaikus slide his top off, letting it teasingly linger on a thumb before tossing it carelessly aside. Emryc watched without shame as his partner’s bronze torso was revealed, hips gyrating and rocking with sensual grace. Though the half Sephi sat in silence, his eyes and ears betrayed him. There was a fiery glint in his eye and Jaikus would know he had hooked the attention of all sides of Emryc, Raze included. His ears not only swiveled slightly, but they even began to get a red tinge to them. His entire body felt as if he were on fire, burning him worse than the lightning of the Korriban king and cutting worse than the icy air on Telos.

Emryc stood up when Jaikus grabbed him and pulled him close. He resisted the urge to grasp a hold of Jaikus and have him right there and then. Emryc focused on the music and the ethereal way his partner moved, every limb languid and fluid, his hands a blur of motions. He watched Jaikus slowly begin to spin, teasingly sliding his pants down. Emryc’s own remaining clothing had grown increasingly uncomfortable and Jaikus would clearly see what he was doing to the half Sephi. He let his gaze drag down the Axxilan’s back and the smooth, flawless skin over the curve of his back. He followed that down to the pants that were lowering even further to reveal just enough of his rear with that last bit of clothing. Emryc moved slightly closer, but he still didn’t reach with his hands, resisting the urge to grasp him by the hips.

A shuddering gasp escaped Emryc by the time Jaikus slipped the last bit of clothing off. That lip bite elicited the quietest groan that he couldn’t suppress. Jaikus didn’t do it often, but it made Emryc weak every time. The half Sephi watched as the Axxilan repeated the Tatooine move, the one that made Emryc realize the man had planted hooks deep inside his chest. The one that made him desire Jaikus more than he could ever admit back then. The one that made him fear how badly he craved the man.

When Jaikus moved up and tugged the waistband of his shorts with his teeth, the half Sephi gasped again, his heart pounding against his chest. The band snapped back against his skin and Emryc grit his teeth slightly, having to work hard to keep his head from being in the clouds. Thoughts and logic failed him as he watched his partner continue to move to the beat. This was a whole different side to Jaikus, entirely opposite of the clumsy and short tempered Axxilan. This side of him was a confident and pristine being that was the ruler of his domain.

Once Jaikus turned around again, Emryc couldn’t help himself any longer. He grabbed the man by the hips and pulled him close, pressing himself firmly against him as he leaned in to kiss along the side of his neck. For a moment, Emryc moved to the beat, his hips grinding with that same sway as he pressed into Jaikus. However, his kisses began to trail down his back, in between his shoulder blades and down his spine.

The half Sephi stepped back and sat back down, pulling Jaikus with him as the song came to its end. He kept Jaikus standing, trailing his kisses down while the man faced away from him. He teasingly paused at the tailbone before continuing downwards to bite down almost harshly against flesh. It was possessive in nature, his fingers digging into his hips as his desires were expressed in every gesture.

Without warning, Emryc abruptly spun Jaikus around, gazing up at him for a moment. He leaned in to trail kisses along the man’s thigh before he arrived exactly where he intended. The half Sephi desperately wanted to taste him and shower him with his passions. He teased and worked meticulously, excruciatingly and in all the ways he knew could make the Axxilan weak. Through it all, he glanced up to meet the emeralds every now and then, one of his hands sliding around to firmly grasp at his rear to pull him closer.

Hilariously, the cooking show continued in the background, now switching to some dessert dish.

In those moments, the rest of the galaxy seemed so unimportant to Jaikus. Everyone and everything else seemed to blur in his mind, fading into the background until Emryc was the sole being left in the galaxy. The only one who seemed to matter. He danced, and his body moved in tandem with the singer’s voices, movements gradually slowing and picking up the pace as the song dictated.

The Axxilan had been put on the spot with the sudden request, but he didn’t shy away from it for even a moment. There were no practiced steps, no preordained choreography. Every movement, from the languid sway of his hips to the weaving of his arms – even to the sudden tug at the waistband - came naturally. It told of story of passion and desire for the man before him, and it was something that was meant only for Emryc to see.

Jaikus rose back from the ground and spun away from Emryc, once more resuming his dance without any shred of clothing in the way. Every inch of his bronzed skin was on display for his partner, teasing with every percussion burst of his hips.

A soft, shuddered gasp escaped from Jaikus when Emryc finally reached forward and grabbed onto him, pressing their bodies together at long last. Every kiss against his neck seemed to send jolts across Jaikus’ body, goosebumps lining his skin that had nothing to do with the temperature. He felt as the half-Sephi grinded his hips against him, eliciting a very obvious reaction from the Axxilan’s body. While one hand twisted and rotated in the air above him, Jaikus gradually snaked his other hand downward, shamelessly slipping beneath the shorts that Emryc wore. Slender fingers worked glided and grasped without hesitation, teasing even as the music continued on for several moments more.

When Emryc stepped back and began to trail kisses downward, however, it was finally Jaikus’ turn to forget how to operate – his attention instead turning to his partner and every little gesture that the half-Sephi performed. The sensual swaying of his hips and ethereal movements of his arms gradually came to a halt, suddenly seeming far too difficult to maintain his focus. He savored each and every feathery kiss along his spine and the feeling of his partner’s hot breath as he trailed down below the waist. The firm bite to his rear elicited a sharp gasp from the Axxilan, his heart pounding just a bit faster in his chest.

In that moment, Jaikus was puddy in the half-Sephi’s hands – moving in whatever which way the man dictated. To his surprise, Emryc abruptly spun him around, and the Axxilan couldn’t help but gaze down at his partner with wide eyes.

At that moment, he met Emryc’s gaze – catching sight of those molted eyes that burned with desire, gazing up at him. That alone sent pangs and waves through Jaikus that he’d never experience before, fanning out across his body and sinking deep, bringing a sudden flush to his cheeks and a new heat beneath his skin. It felt as if an inferno had been ignited across every inch of his body, and Emryc would be able to very clearly see what his action’s did to the Axxilan.

“Emryc..” He spoke softly, his breath almost seeming to catch in his throat.

When the half-Sephi finally arrived where he intended, Jaikus couldn’t help but allow a moan to pass through his lips, emerald eyes fixated downward and watching his partner. Each meticulous, excruciating gesture sent new waves that crashed against him, manifesting with every little shift of his body and involuntary sound that he made. He gradually brought a hand to rest on the back of Emryc’s head, fingernails lightly curling and dragging through the back of the half-Sephi’s hair.

He attempted to keep his gaze upon the man the entire time, wanting to catch every time his partner looked upwards. Eventually, however, Jaikus couldn't help but tilt his head upwards - emerald eyes gazing towards the ceiling as his breath escaped with a shutter.

“Fuck..”

Emryc was unapologetic in every way, both relinquishing and commanding power with what he did. He was driven by every involuntary noise the Axxilan made and every way he moved or the way his knees almost buckled. The half Sephi was relentless, driven by the fingernails raking against the back of his head. He kept going up to a point right as Jaikus arrived near the peak and uttered the expletive while staring at the ceiling. Emryc paused and drew back.

“As you wish,” His baritone uttered in response as he stood up to face the man. There was a faint grin on his face as he licked his lower lip before biting it to display just how much he enjoyed that taste...and to make Jaikus turn tomato red from such a simple gesture.

The half Sephi grabbed Jaikus by the wrist without a word, leading him down the hall and back towards his room. He walked with purpose, knowing exactly where he wanted to take his partner next. Heat blazed across his body, and he was tired of being in clothing still. Once they arrived, Emryc nudged Jaikus back atop his bed, against the sheets that smelled strongly of his cologne and had every evidence that they were his.

Emryc hovered atop the Axxilan for a moment before he leaned down to kiss him, taking his time to passionately capture his lips and forget the rest of the galaxy. They were far from any world, any war, any temple, any missions. It was just the two of them in Emryc’s bed, and there was nowhere else he wanted to be. This was no grassy field or boulder, this was his home and his bed. That alone ignited a whole new level of passion.

He traced kisses down his partner’s torso, taking his time with his chest before he abruptly moved to the side to be on his back, propping himself up against some pillows. Emryc pulled Jaikus atop him, but turned him so he faced away. Emryc grasped a hold of his hips, pausing to admire the view before he leaned in to kiss along the back of his thigh, biting teasingly as he made his way towards his destination.

The half Sephi was just as meticulous as before, taking his time and teasing and tasting however he pleased. His fingers dug against his skin, leaving subtle red marks as he kissed where he had bitten before. He continued to trail the kisses till he found what he sought, moving in to bury himself. He wanted to drink in every taste, feel the other man move and shift, hear every reaction. For all the ways there was hot, burning desire, there were emotions that burned just as strong within his chest. It was always at the back of his mind, and he could no longer deny it.

Emryc knew he was falling in love with this man.

Jaikus’ couldn’t help as his thoughts melted away and turned to mush, getting lost in the bliss of every action of the half-Sephi and the sight of yellow-tinted silvers gazing up at him. His partner was relentless, every excruciating and meticulous gesture elicited a pronounced reaction that Emryc would certainly be able to feel – followed every little noise and shift he made.

As Emryc continued on, Jaikus’ breath gradually began to quicken with renewed urgency. His knees almost buckled beneath him and his fingers curled a bit tighter into the half-Sephi’s hair, uttering that expletive into the air with an almost pleading tone to his voice.

That was an almost dazed look on Jaikus’ face when Emryc paused and rose back to his feet. Emerald eyes gradually tilting down from the ceiling and to fixate back onto the half-Sephi, listening to that baritone rumble. That sudden lick and lip bite brought a faint gasp from the Axxilan, his heart pounding in his chest like a drum. That gesture alone brought a renewed flush of tomato red to his cheeks, quickly spreading to consume every inch of his face. It was a gesture that drove him wild with desire and somehow made his body feel weak all at the same time.

The Axxilan reached forward just then, fingers wrapping around to dig fingers possessively into the half-Sephi’s rear – pulling their bodies a bit closer together. There was a wide grin on his lips when Emryc abruptly grabbed him by the wrists, leading him down the same hallway that the half-Sephi had toured him through not long ago.

The moment they arrived within the bedroom, Jaikus reached forward, hooking his fingers beneath the half-Sephi’s shorts and whatever else he might’ve been wearing. His body burned as if a fire had been ignited across every inch of his bare skin, and he suddenly had no desire to see his partner clothed for a moment longer. He wordlessly tugging downwards until that last barrier of fabric dropped to the ground, taking a moment to admire the man before him.

With that, Jaikus fell back onto the bed with Emryc’s urging, collapsing into the cologne-scented sheets before leaning up to capture the man’s lips, savoring the familiar taste of the half-Sephi. A soft gasp escaped him once again as Emryc began to work down, every little kiss along his torso sending waves throughout Jaikus’ body. He kept his head tilted downward the entire time, finding thrill in watching every little action and gesture from his partner.

When Emryc abruptly moved onto his back and pulled Jaikus on top, the Axxilan immediately turned into puddy in the half-Sephi’s hands – relinquishing control as he shifted and repositioned in whatever which way the man liked. He felt as those fingers dig firmly into his skin, followed by every meticulous kiss along his thigh and the place where his partner had once bitten.

Emryc finally moved towards his destination and buried himself there, eliciting a sharp moan from the Axxilan in response. There was an almost involuntary movement of his hips at that moment, his own fingernails digging into the half-Sephi’s thighs as his head tilted once more towards the ceiling. He let out a soft exhale after a long moment, finally tilting his eyes back to his partner, a renewed fire burning in his eyes.

Jaikus did not remain idly after that, slowly leaning down from where he was positioned. He began to trail kisses along the half-Sephi’s skin, starting at the navel and gradually working his way lower on the man’s body. He paused more than once along the way, taking a moment to bit down against the skin and leave a faint mark in his wake.

Jaikus worked his way down until he reached finally his destination. His lips immediately parting as he dove down deeper to capture what he sought, wanting to taste his partner at long last. Every sound he made – elicited by what his partner was doing – manifested as murmurs and vibrations against his partner’s body, radiating out as the Axxilan teased and moved as he pleased.

He gradually brought his hands up from his sides, sliding underneath his and to tightly grasp onto the half-Sephi’s rear – pulling the man’s hips as he suddenly dove down the rest of the way. In that moment, Jaikus was entirely focused on what he was doing - allowing his every desire and passion to manifest in every meticulous gesture for his partner.

For the man that Jaikus knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that he loved.

---

Several minutes had passed, and there was still a very dazed, satisfied look plastered on Jaikus’ face – emerald eyes tilted up to stare listlessly at the ceiling above them. There was a clear layer of sweat that glistened against his bronze skin, his chest still rising and falling as he worked to catch his breath.

The two men had moved quite a bit from where they originally started on the bed, and Jaikus had finally worked his way back into the half-Sephi’s arms, laying back comfortably against some of the pillows of the bed. Jaikus kept his arms tightly wrapped around his partner, lightly using his fingers to massage the man’s shoulder.

He was silent for a long while, forgoing words and instead choosing to linger solely upon the man before him. He lingered on his familiar scent, and the feeling of arms that wrapped tightly and kept him close. It filled him with a sense of warmth and comfort beyond his comprehension, and it made the thought of parting seem so agonizing.

After a few more moments, Jaikus finally turned his head and looked towards his partner, a faint grin tugging at at the corners of his lips. “Maybe I ‘ought to dance for you more often,” He spoke softly, leaning in to kiss the man tenderly. He broke the embrace after only a few moments. “But first,” Jaikus propped himself up on Emryc’s chest, smiling wide as he gazed down at the man.

“Since you stubbornly insisted on carrying our packs the entire way, seems only fair I reward you with a proper massage.” He jutted his chin, gesturing for the half-Sephi to sit up. “And you can decide on our next destination.”

Emryc had a very satisfied look on his face as he stared up at the ceiling for a while. And there was something inherently sexy about having Jaikus sprawled on his bed the way he was. His gaze roamed over the sheen across that perfect bronze skin and the slight flush of red still present on his face. The half Sephi was silent for a long moment before he used the Force to float over a pack of cigarra to himself. He pulled one out halfway before he paused and slid it back into the box and tossed it back on the side table.

The half Sephi was content to just lay there for a while, which was a rarity. He was normally a very active man, and he wasn’t satisfied with the amount of training he had the past few days. He held Jaikus tightly when the man moved closer, leaning in to trace kisses along the side of his face and the salty skin. He grinned at the man’s words, “The things I wanted to do to you when I saw you on Tatooine,” He almost growled before meeting the kiss with equal measure of passion. He lingered there for a moment, running his fingers briefly through Jaikus’ damp hair.

However, when Jaikus motioned for him to get up, Emryc remained where he was like a sack of potatoes. He unceremoniously began to turn around and plopped right down on his stomach, “I’m not sitting up,” He grumbled flatly, “Just sit on me,” He muttered, resting his head on his pillow and letting Jaikus massage his shoulders. His extremely scarred back was facing his partner, almost every inch of skin covered in ugly welts and grooves from the countless strikes of a fanged whip. His back also carried scars of deep scratch marks that were clearly not human.

If Jaikus moved to sit on his lower back, Emryc would groan his approval at the pressure and weight. He normally found massages and spas to be pointless, but he was surprisingly relaxed right now. If Jaikus began to massage him, he would find tremendous amounts of pressure and knots all along Emryc’s shoulders and back.

It was clear that Jaikus was in no rush to move – savoring the feeling of being back in his partner’s arms, reclined comfortable against those cologne-scented sheets. There was something far more intimate about being sprawled out on Emryc’s own bed, rather than some grassy field or boulder. He stretched his limbs a bit, letting a gentle hum roll up his throat. He was comfortable enough to drift right off to sleep if he allowed himself.

Emerald eyes briefly flicked away from the ceiling and towards his partner, watching silently as he summoned the Cigarra box into his hands. Even if he personally didn’t, Jaikus knew that Emryc enjoyed his cigarras and, and the Axxilan never expected him to change that habit. As such, he couldn’t help but look slightly surprised when the half-Sephi hesitated, tossing the box back onto the side table without a word.

It was a subtle gesture, and yet it was more meaningful to Jaikus than Emryc probably realized. Without a word, Jaikus tilted his face down, planting a shower of feathery kisses against the half-Sephi’s chest, snuggling him a bit closer after that.

He blinked a few times when the half-Sephi refused to get up. “I suppose I can do that.” He muttered in response to the words, a playful grin tugging at his lips. With that, the Axxilan finally shifted from where he was laying, sitting up on the bed while Emryc laid out on his stomach. Jaikus couldn’t help but linger in place for a few moments, emerald eyes shamelessly drinking in the view before gradually moving his gaze upwards. He clearly noted the sight of the scars, welts and scratch marks that clearly hadn’t been left by human hands.

As instructed, Jaikus swung a leg over the half-Sephi’s torso, sitting his entire weight down onto Emryc’s lower back, eliciting that groan of approval in response. Almost at once, the Axxilan leaned forward, starting at the shoulders and beginning to press into the numerous knots that had formed there. Aristocrat that he was, Jaikus had a bit of experience with this style of pampering and had picked up a few tricks along the way.

Expertly, Jaikus kneaded his fingers into Emryc’s shoulders, thumbs digging in to the tense muscle, listening for every grunt of approval or reaction his partner made. His fingers pressed down a bit firmer and began to crawl inwards towards the half-Sephi’s spine, before then crawling back up to squeeze and massage along the back of his neck. Jaikus lingered on the half-Sephi’s shoulders and neck, for a long while, clearly taking his time to work out any pressure or knots that he found there.

Only when he was finally satisfied did Jaikus gradually moved lower – turning his attention to the Half-Sephi’s scarred back. His fingers curled towards a fist, and using his knuckles, the Axxilan began to press firmly into the tissue, drawing little circles as he went.

He gradually began to work his way down the half-Sephi’s spine, knuckles pressing down and drawing a straight line on either sides of Emryc’s spine. When the Axxilan finally reached where he was sitting, he began to work his way in the reverse, knuckles fanning out in opposite directions and back towards the half-Sephi’s shoulder blades.

Emryc was entirely oblivious to his partner blatantly checking him out. He was happy to be back in his bed and back into his comfort zone. His ship had been his safety net for a very long time, and it was hilariously clear that he hadn’t made a lot of modifications to adapt to his growing size. The doorways were not quite as tall as him, and his feet went past the edge of his bed. Nevertheless, Emryc was visibly extremely content to be here, and especially moreso because Jaikus was with him.

He felt Jaikus begin to work along his shoulders and back, his body starting off tense and then rapidly relaxing. Emryc closed his eyes and enjoyed the sensations, feeling the knuckles kneading against his muscles and the comfortable weight of Jaikus sitting on him. He heard the soft hum of his ship’s engines, the familiar sound that brought him comfort and familiarity.

Emryc tried to focus, but his mind began to cloud. His muscles began to relax and his body was perfectly relaxed and still. Between feeling satisfied from earlier, the massage and being back in his own cozy bed, Emryc was entirely at ease.

After a long while, Jaikus would come across something entirely unusual that he hadn’t yet despite how much time they had spent together. Emryc’s body shifted subtly with deep, slow breaths and he said nothing. Closer inspection would reveal that the half Sephi was actually sound asleep. It was one of the only times his face looked entirely peaceful and didn’t have the frosty stoic or icy demeanor around it. No matter what Jaikus did, Emryc was completely dead to the world, just as vulnerable as he feared being when he slept around others.

Whether Emryc was aware of it or not, Jaikus had quite literally no qualms about taking a moment to take in the sight of his partner sprawled as he was now. The Axxilan rarely had the opportunity to view the half-Sephi from quite that angle, and emerald eyes slowly worked their way over every inch - clear that he could never quite get enough of the half-Sephi.

Though he allowed his mind to wander to all sorts of places for a few moments, Jaikus pointedly put all those thoughts aside when he started going to work on Emryc’s back and shoulders. He shifted all of his attention and focus onto what he was doing, largely silent through the entire process. Of course, if Emryc happened to peak back during the course of it all, the half-Sephi would catch the smile that lingered on Jaikus’ lips the entire time – making it abundantly clear that he took pleasure in what he was doing.

Minutes would pass, and Jaikus was in absolutely zero rush to hurry things along. He kneaded and massaged along every muscle and knot that had formed, giving special attention to the spots that seemed the most tense. As simple as the massage might’ve been on the surface, it was a gesture through which the Axxilan wanted to express his growing affection and love for the half-Sephi – and it was made abundantly clear by his attention to detail and every meticulous effort throughout the process.

Slowly but surely, Jaikus began to work his way up Emryc’s spine and back to his trapezius. The man had spent the past few days hauling around their packs, and the Axxilan knew to give that area extra attention. He wrapped four fingers around Emryc’s shoulders while pressing his thumbs deep into the muscle, slowly drawing circles in that particular spot.

After a few moments, Jaikus began to notice the way Emryc’s body remained loosened and perfectly still as he worked – even the little grunts of approval coming to a halt. While his hands still worked, Jaikus slowly peaked around from where he was positioned, glancing down to look at his partner. “Babe?” He spoke softly.

Jaikus paused entirely for a moment when he finally caught side of Emryc’s face, instantly recognizing the peaceful expression on the mans face and – in combination with his slow breathes and lack of response – instantly knew the half-Sephi had dozed off. In all their time together, the Axxilan had never seen his partner asleep – despite having spent days on end together. It was a sight that brought a bright, tender smile to his lips – a somewhat dazed, smitten expression plastered across his face for a few moments. He leaned down just then, planting a soft kiss to his partner’s cheek before sitting back up.

Surprisingly, the Axxilan continued with the massage for a few minutes more. He wanted to fully work out any remaining knots or aches that might’ve formed over the past few days, even if Emryc was dead to the world by this point. Only when he was fully satisfied did Jaikus finally swing his leg back around and fall back onto the sheets, sprawling out next to the half-Sephi.

Instinctively, Jaikus wrapped his arms around Emryc’s back, pulling himself close and snuggled up against the half-Sephi. The combination of the hike, their experience only a few minutes ago and actually being on a bed was finally taking its toll on Jaikus – his mind beginning to fade and his eyes growing exceptionally heavy.

Nevertheless, the Axxilan hesitated for a few minutes to allow himself to fall asleep – suddenly remembering the little comments that had been made about his snoring. This was the first time he had actually seen the half-Sephi asleep, and desperately didn’t want to wake the man by sounding like a buzzsaw.

Only when Jaikus was fully confident that Emryc was dead to the world – that nothing he said or did was going to wake the man – did Jaikus allow himself to fully relax, slowly but surely allowing his eyes to close and drift off into blissful slumber, wrapped around the man he adored.

Emryc was entirely oblivious as he peacefully slept, something that normally took him a very long time to overcome around anyone else. He was sound asleep as Jaikus affectionately kissed his cheek and continued to work out the tension on his back. Unlike the Axxilan, Emryc was a very quiet sleeper. He was perfectly still and had an even, measured deep breathing that was not even audible over the hum of the ship.

Though Emryc was deeply asleep, throughout the time he moved towards the warmth Jaikus provided. At some point, he wrapped his arm around the man and nuzzled against him, burying his face into his shoulder. His leg was lazily strewn across the Axxilan’s, both men completely knocked out. No amount of snoring could rouse Emryc, the half Sephi normally an incredibly heavy sleeper.

It wasn’t till several hours later that Emryc slowly blinked awake. It took a moment to realize what he had done. While normally he would have jerked away and had a panic attack, he found himself oddly at ease. Emryc could hear Jaikus lightly snoring which usually indicated he was close to waking up. The half Sephi leaned in to trace kisses along his shoulder and the side of his neck to rouse him from sleep. His hand gently slid up the man’s back till his fingers curled into his hair as he gazed at his partner.

“I don’t like being apart from you,” He stated quietly and very matter of factly. His mind went to the refueling station and the inevitable outcome of them once again parting ways for weeks or months. While it was difficult each time, it almost felt insurmountable now, and Emryc didn’t quite know how to cope with this strange and powerful pull. It caused Raze to rear his monstrous head, silently despising him for allowing such vulnerabilities. However, Emryc suppressed him yet again, keeping his focus on Jaikus alone.

Jaikus was finally satisfied enough with the massage to lay back down onto the bed, and as soon his head hit the pillow, Jaikus couldn’t help but drift off to sleep within mere moments – comfort and warmth washing over him in ways that the Axxilan didn’t quite understand. While it was his first time every being in Emryc’s ship – in the man’s home – Jaikus couldn’t help but be entirely at ease within the space. Just as he was at ease around the man himself.

The bed, his overall exhaustion and the feeling of Emryc’s body pressed against him. It was all the perfect combination for the Axxilan to drift into deep, peaceful slumber – completely dead to the world for hours to come.

Emerald eyes closed and characteristic snoring gradually began to fill the air, largely overpowering the sounds of the cooking show playing in the background. While he didn’t say it, Jaikus was exceptionally grateful for the fact that Emryc was a deep sleeper – easing his initial fears that he might wake his partner on accident.

While he certainly wasn’t a quiet sleeper, Jaikus thankfully didn’t move around that much. Hours passed, and the Axxilan remained in largely the same position the entire time – turned onto his side and snuggled against the half-Sephi the entire time – nuzzling his face against the man and keeping his arms wrapped around the man’s torso.

Hours had passed by this point, and Jaikus was finally getting close to waking up – his buzzsaw snores becoming much softer and less obnoxious, echoing through the room until Emryc finally leaned in to rouse him the rest of the way. Almost subconsciously, the kisses along his shoulder and neck elicited a soft hum from the Axxilan, urging hm to snuggle his face against the half-Sephi.

He exhaled a soft yawn, emerald eyes finally cracking open to look at the man before him. Having the half-Sephi be the first thing he saw upon waking was something that filled him with an unmistakable sense of comfort and tranquility. Despite any wars or politics, despite whatever was happening beyond the confines of this ship, in that moment everything simply t with the galaxy.

Jaikus exhaled softly when Emryc curled his fingers into his hair, instinctively leaning forward a bit to press his forehead against his partner. His hands wrapped tightly around the half-Sephi’s torso, lightly scratching fingernails along the man’s back. He listened as Emryc spoke matter-of-factly, lingering on those simple words for several long moments.

“I don’t want to be.”

He finally spoke, leaning forward to briefly capture the half-Sephi’s lips as he did so. “I can’t stand being apart from you, and I don’t want to be. Jaikus muttered each word against the man’s lips, briefly breaking away from the tender kiss to speak. “I want to be able to see you every day, and to wake up next to you.

True to his nature, the Axxilan was genuine and unapologetic with every word, having no hesitation to convey exactly for he felt to his partner. There was an unmistakable pull to be around Emryc, and it made the thought of parting at some refueling station – of going weeks or months before seeing the man again – entirely too agonizing, and he could no longer deny the reasons as to why.

“Because you are my partner. And because I love you.”

There was something incredibly comfortable about simply lying here with his partner without a care in the world. His comlink no doubt was filled with messages and briefs that he would have to tend to, and he knew there was limited time before he went back to being on cameras again. But all of that was forgotten as he felt Jaikus snuggle up against him and the familiar grazing of nails that always elicited a satisfied groan.

Emryc had been surprised at his own words, already admitting he began to have a strong attachment to the other man. He was all too thrilled when Jaikus spoke, leaning into the kiss and savoring it. He lingered there for a moment, lazy and comfortable with every gesture as his hand slowly traced over the side of his body. When they parted and the Axxilan kept speaking, Emryc’s eyes widened slightly. By the time Jaikus uttered those very powerful words, the half Sephi was completely frozen.

The words hit like a speeder, and it shocked him even though those same words had been echoing within the back of his mind. Emryc had been in love before, he knew the signs, he knew when he was falling. But he also knew the terror that came with it. He also knew he devastated a world over it. The half Sephi grew slightly rigid in Jaikus’ grip, and he almost moved away. He had in the past. However, he anchored himself by gazing into those emerald eyes and the unwavering gaze that told him Jaikus had no fear in declaring his truth and in accepting what he felt.

Emryc paused for a long moment, staring at Jaikus in silence. His face betrayed the fear he felt, a very rare expression on the half Sephi. The words had filled him with overwhelming warmth, and he wanted to hear them repeatedly from the other man. He couldn’t understand how a mere phrase could have such a powerful impact, and perhaps he never would.

“Aren’t you...afraid?” He all but whispered, “Of how vulnerable this makes you?” Emryc’s gaze lowered slightly, “....makes us,” He admitted very quietly as a reminder to Jaikus that the feelings were mutual. The half Sephi always had a difficult time with those words. He had been trained against such concepts for as long as he could remember.

Nothing else seemed to matter in those moments, and tere was an almost blissful, peaceful expression on Jaikus’ face when he was roused from slumber. A few soft, barely audible yawns passed under his breath before he finally fixating onto the man in front of him, a tender smile immediately working onto his lips.

There was something unmistakably intimate about laying as he was, snuggled up against his partner and surrounded by the man’s belongings. It brought an inexplicable sense of comfort and warmth to the Axxilan as he laid there, listening while Emryc spoke.

Those simple very powerful words passed Jaikus’ lips, and there was no hesitation when they did so. They were words that had been echoing and gnawing at his mind for some time now, even if the Axxilan hadn’t vocalized them until now. There was absolutely no denying what Jaikus felt, and true to his nature accepted how he felt without a second thought.

He knew that he loved his partner, and that was a fact that had only been made more true with every moment they had been together. It was made true during their experiences together on Telos, and everything that followed when Jaikus tracked Emryc to Keldooine. It was made true when Jaikus risked everything to find the half-Sephi and Kefrene, and during their tender moment at the hospital.

It was made true during these last few days on the planet without a name, and now as they embraced within Emryc’s very home.

Jaikus was briefly silent after he spoke, taking a moment to watch his partner’s reaction to his words. He clearly noted the way the half-Sephi grew rigid in his arms and the fear that flashed across his expression. Even still, the Axxilan remained exactly where he was – unwavering as he embraced and expressed his feelings for the man.

He listened when Emryc finally spoke, posing a question barely above a whisper. He clearly noted the last thing that the half-Sephi said, lingering on those words above all else. It was a subtle reminder, but it was confirmation that the feelings were mutual for Emryc and it was enough to bring a smile to Jaikus’ lips – tender and loving as he gazed upon the half-Sephi.

After a short pause, Jaikus drew one of his hands from Emryc’s back, bringing it up to cup the half-Sephi’s cheek. He leaned forward just a bit, once more savoring a kiss that was far more tender and affectionate.

“Not for a moment.”

He finally spoke, muttering barely above a whisper as he pressed his forehead against his partner. While his voice was soft, there was an unmistakable confidence and determination that laced into every word. A sense of surety in what he felt. “I am not afraid - not for even a moment – of being vulnerable with you. I am not afraid to embrace exactly how I feel, whatever might come. Because you make me happier than anyone else in this galaxy, and to do anything less is something much worse."

“Because I love you, Emy. And that is all that matters.”

Emryc stared at his partner, reassured by the way Jaikus remained unwavering. In many ways, the fact that the half Sephi was younger and less experienced shined through. Though he had countless life experiences, it was clear this was an area he was rather green in. Jaikus remained calm about his feelings and venturing deeper into this path, and that empowered Emryc to share the same and keep from having his usual anxieties. Even Raze remained silent much to his surprise. Jaikus had always allowed things to happen on the terms of both men, never pushing any agenda. He simply stated where he stood at all times even from the beginning, and that gave Emryc the space he needed to arrive at the same conclusions.

When he heard that nickname again, Emryc couldn’t help but smile. The frigid silvers softened almost instantly and Jaikus would know that nickname completely disarmed the half Sephi every single time. Emryc pulled Jaikus close, leaning in to kiss him yet again. He affectionately wrapped a leg around the man as well, tightly embracing him as close as possible. He only remained like that for a moment before drawing back, knowing he wasn’t exactly light as a feather. As he drew back, he faintly grinned at the Axxilan before murmuring softly, “Ana bahebak,” He gave an almost playful wink, casually revealing that he had been studying up on his culture far more than Jaikus ever knew. Emryc leaned in for another quick kiss before pulling back entirely and sliding off the bed.

The half Sephi stood at the foot of the bed for a moment, stretching and flexing, fully on display for Jaikus. To his surprise, his back and shoulders felt entirely fluid and relaxed. He rolled his shoulders a few times, surprised at the impact of what Jaikus had done. Emryc glanced down at his partner, the sight of his bronze and lean body sprawled on his sheets almost invoking some familiar urges all over again.

Instead, Emryc leaned down and playfully grasped Jaikus by the ankle, unceremoniously dragging the man down the length of his bed. He glanced down at his partner, placing his foot up against his chest as he kneaded his thumb against the arch of his foot. With all the hiking they did, there was no doubt it would be a welcome sensation, “Are you going to just laze around till we get to the station?” He asked with a grin.

Jaikus couldn’t help but smile in that goofy and ridiculous way, staring back at his partner as that tender nickname was spoken. It was one born entirely from the affection and love he had for the half-Sephi, passing from his lips without a second thought, and he knew full well how it disarmed the man every time. He repeated those three simple yet profound words, confident and unwavering about how he felt for Emryc.

There were no expectations or demands for his partner. There was no agenda he attempted to force. There was only ever a burning desire to express just how much Emryc meant to him.

When Emryc pulled him close, Jaikus immediately reciprocated the gesture. He shifted both arms to wrap around the half-Sephi’s shoulders, curling his fingers around the back of Emryc’s neck as he hugged the man tightly. He savored the embrace and the feeling of his partner’s weight pressed against him, practically melting into the man’s arms. Time seemed to move a bit slower in that moment, lingering there for a long while before Emryc pulled back slightly.

Jaikus took a moment to stare at the man he loved for a moment, clearly noting the faint grin on his partner’s lips. Emerald eyes immediately went wide with surprise when the half-Sephi murmured softly, clearly catching the Axxilan off guard.

He knew the feelings were mutual, and yet to hear Emryc say it aloud sent waves through the Axxilan he hadn’t quite experienced before. Almost at once, that phrase alone filled his entire body with exceptional warmth, bringing a renewed flush of bright red to his cheeks and causing his heart to thunder against the confines of his chest. They were words that he craved to hear from his partner, suddenly wanted to hear them repeated over and over again.

They were words that carried so much weight and power behind them, even more so because Emryc had spoken them in the Axxilan’s native language.

It was a language that Jaikus had grown up speaking, and only ever did so when he was around people from his homeworld. The fact that Emryc had taken the time to study his culture meant more to Jaikus than perhaps the half-Sephi would ever know.

Jaikus pressed lovingly into that kiss, never quite able to get enough of his partner. Almost instinctively, his grip on the back of the half-Sephi’s neck tightened ever-so-slightly, desiring to hold him in place for a few moments more. He finally released his grip and allowed the man to slide off the bed entirely after that.

Still sprawled out on the sheets, Jaikus made no attempted to get up quite yet. Instead, he propped himself up on an elbow and sat up a bit, watching as the half-Sephi stretched and flexed – fully on display the entire time. Just as they had before, his eyes shamelessly wandered across every inch of exposed skin, a grin tugging at the corners of his lips. Jaikus had no qualms about taking the time to shamelessly check out his partner, and Emryc would know full well that he had the Axxilan’s full attention in that moment.

He let out a slight yelp as Emryc playfully grabbed his ankle, a few giggles and puffer-pig snorts passing from his lips as the Axxilan was unceremoniously pulled down towards the bottom of the bed. He watched as the half-Sephi placed the foot against his chest, pausing for a moment to simply stare up at his partner with a grin.

As soon as Emryc began to massage the bottom of his foot, Jaikus couldn’t help but let out a satisfied little groan, his head tilting back to gaze up at the ceiling. The boots he had worn the past few days simply weren’t the best for the terrain, and days of hiking had certainly begun to take their toll. As Emryc massaged with his thumbs, Jaikus’ toes curled from the sensation - his lower back arching up a bit off the sheets while his arms splayed out lazily across the bed.

He finally glanced back at his partner when the half-Sephi spoke, clearly noting the grin that was plastered on the man’s lips. “I have some ideas on how to spend the time.” While the half-Sephi held onto one foot, the other began to slowly draw up Emryc’s thigh. When he finally reached the half-Sephi’s waist, Jaikus slid his foot around and hooked his ankle onto the half-Sephi’s hip, tugging him a bit closer as he spoke. “And I’m not done with you quite yet.”

Emryc couldn’t help but stare at his partner as he arched back and lazily stretched like a cat. The arch and the way he tilted his head back temporarily froze the half Sephi as he vacantly stared at his exceedingly attractive partner. He momentarily forgot about the massage until Jaikus began to speak again, and he quickly resumed. The Axxilan always had an uncanny ability to catch his eye even before he ended things with Morgan, and that didn’t change even now. Every way the man moved was always sensual and languid, as if he never quite stepped off the dance floor. There was a lazy confidence in every motion, no matter how trivial, and it lured Emryc like a moth to flame.

The half Sephi grinned at Jaikus as he felt his foot nudge against his waist before hooking to pull him closer. Emryc responded by grasping the other foot to put both feet up on his shoulders. He leaned down towards the bed, testing Jaikus’ flexibility as he moved in close to hover over him. His hands were planted on either side of him on the bed as he looked down at his partner.

“How about we play a game to see how many surfaces we can have our way with each other against until we jump out of hyperspace?” Emryc gave Jaikus his best smoldering eyes that usually made his fanclub melt. He couldn’t keep that for long before his face broke out into a grin. The half Sephi leaned down to steal a quick kiss from Jaikus before moving back again. He paused to slap his partner’s rear on the way, jutting his chin to invite him to follow.

With them both still messy from earlier, Emryc pulled his partner into the shower with him. Naturally, this meant another surface being put to the test before the two emerged a while later. The half Sephi was in front of his mirror with a towel around his hips as he decided to go for a shave. Hiking and their mission meant he was sporting quite a bit more scruff than he normally carried. Naturally he had to operate in a very foggy environment from all the time they spent here.

“Where will you go after we land?”
He asked while staring at himself. He could still hear Jaikus shuffling around near him. It wasn’t normally in his nature to be nosy and inquisitive like this, but he had meant it when he stated he despised being away from the man. The prospect of being apart for months suddenly seemed agonizing.

Jaikus grinned mischievously, a renewed fire glinting in his emerald eyes. Sleep had worked to dispel the exhaustion from before, and the sight before him now very clearly reignited some of the urges from before. He watched as Emryc grabbed both feet and repositioned them onto those broad shoulders, leaning forward as he did so.

Given his acrobatic style of fighting, the Axxilan was far more flexible than the average person – meaning that he could easily bend into whichever position Emryc wished. As the half-Sephi came to hover over the top of him, Jaikus’ arms rose up above his head – lazily stretching out onto the bed above him.

“I like the sounds of that.” Jaikus spoke softly, almost growling the words as he gazed up at his partner. “Plenty of surfaces I’d like to put to the test before we land. Here,” He gestured to the bed, before then jutting his chin towards one of the walls in the room. “Over there,” He then gestured out the door, back down the hall – leaving it up to interpretation which surface he was referencing. “And out there.” Jaikus stared up at those smoldering eyes, his heart pounding a bit harder in his chest. The Axxilan couldn’t help but bite down onto the bottom of his lip, desire burning within those emeralds.

His lips tugged a bit wider when Emryc grinned, immediately leaning up to press into that quick kiss once more. He felt the playful slap on his rear, springing off the bed and onto his feet to follow the half-Sephi towards the refresher. After everything they’d been through over the past few days – and the past few hours – it went without saying that the two men were in desperate need of a shower.

Jaikus followed Emryc into the refresher and stepped into the shower, allowing the hot water to pour across his bronze skin. Unsurprisingly, the Axxilan didn’t seem particular interested in getting freshened right away. Instead, Jaikus closed the distance between himself and his partner, reaching down to grab the half-Sephi’s wrist hold them playfully against the shower wall. He leaned forward to steal a quick kiss before he began to work his way down towards the shower floor, staring up at his partner as he went.

Several minutes has passed, and several surfaces had been tested, and Jaikus finally stepped out of the shower. He wore one towel wrapped low onto his waist, while a smaller towel was being run through his damp hair – jostling the water from it. There was no doubt that his natural curls would return in full force once his locks had dried.

He stepped towards the mirror, glancing at his features for the first time in a while. Like his partner, the Axxilan sported a bit more hair on his face than usual – his usually clean-shaven features now lightly dusted with dark stubble. Squinting at the sight, the Axxilan reached for a disposable razor and began to address the fair on his face, followed by the rest of his meticulous, ritualistic preening.

He paused for a moment when Emryc spoke. “Not far for very long,” He quipped, flashing his partner a characteristic smile. While his tone was playful, there was an unmistakably genuineness to that statement. He had quite literally zero no desire to be separated from his partner, and his stubborn nature meant that the man was going to do everything in his power to shorten the length of that time apart.

“I’m going to stay with you for as long as possible,” He started, lathering his jawline in shaving cream. “Eventually, I’ll make the trip back to Axxila – just long enough to get a few things in order before I inevitably surprise you by appearing out of thin air.” He grinned a bit wider, trying very hard to keep from laughing. Which was probably a good idea, considering he was angling a razor to his face.
“I want to be able to be with you as Emryc Thorne, so, I’ll need to make some arrangements.”

"Where will you head, babe?"
