New Alderaan

It had been time due for a visit to the New Alderaan shipyards. Tiamat was certain Governor Alkaios saw the success of the Eternal's Wrath following the first emergence of the killik threat. The ship held up beautifully, the path engine demonstrating its ability to jump even within the gravity wells of systems. Repairs were extensive, but repairable and soon it had been back in commission for her work and patrols. She would had to admit, taking it for drill runs was probably the most fun she had in a while, and most recently she sat ready to arrive to Yavin for reinforcements when Altair and Varyn were conducting their mission in case things turned bad. Regardless, she wanted to see how New Alderaan was fairing. With the new technology, she hoped it would draw in engineers to continue work on building ships, which in turn would bring investors and researchers.

The woman arrived to the capital to meet with the governor as the rain begun to fall from the early evening sky, creating a heavy grey veil over the city. She was dressed more formally in her sith armor, forgoing the helmet and leaving it aboard her ship as she exited onto the landing platform. Her hair braided and pinned to the crown of her head, a slight chill in the air made her shiver slightly as she hurried inside with a droid escort to lead her to where the governor would meet herself. She admired the mix of traditional and modern alderaanian design that seemed to be loss to the rest of the galaxy. Gently Tiamat pulled on the fingers of her gloves to remove them, and tucking them into her waistband before entering the hall.

Taking a seat, surely the meeting would soon begin.

Arcturus did indeed see how well the Eternal's Wrath did above Ruusan against the new enemy that had appeared. It was indeed a success. And apparently the Empire as a whole thought the same as even more of the ship's class has been created. Arcturus saw that quite a bit of them were pressed into the Imperial fleets, with them being deployed above Corellia as well. It wouldn't have been possible for New Alderaan if not for the careful preparation and gathering resources from the Empire as well as outlying worlds.

The Sith Governor would be dressed in a black formal outfit, he would stride into the hall ways to meet his guest in the capital halls. The Governor prepared for this meeting with the Sith Master and will be pleased to report in to her. Arcturus would apporach her with a slight smirk on his face and he would bend over for a polite bow. "Master Tiamat, Pleased to see you again. Welcome back to New Alderaan." he would greet the Sith Master with respect.

"Thank you, Governor Alkaios." she rose for a brief moment, to bow her head gently before sitting down as he did.

"As isolated from the rest of the Empire, New Alderaan is doing well I see." she said, the positive impression was heard in her tone, "I hope to see it continue as such, and I hope there is some sort of extra patrols going up here with the war now initiated with the ISC." Tiamat frowned briefly, wondering how long it would be before they would be attacked. It did not sit well with the woman with how blatant of an attack Corellia was without mobilizing the rest of the Empire. However, by now troops and fleets would be well on their way to reinforce boundaries; patrols would become more aggressive.

"However, what I am here is to see expansion of the shipyards. We'll need production and refitting around the clock, are your engineers prepared?" she asked.

"Thank you Master." he bowed his head slightly. Tiamat was firm on making sure that extra steps were being taken to make sure New Alderaan is adequately protected. He nodded his head yes, affirming that there were extra patrols, all forces on alert at the first sign of trouble both in space and planet-side. Arcturus wanted to sigh after the ISC war was brought up but refrained. Arcturus understands that the ISC are a threat that needs to be beaten down in the dirt so that the Empire would be the undisputed superpower in the galaxy since the Free Worlds, Republic, and Jedi are too weak and worthless. Arcturus would have appreciated at least some 'head up' before suddenly finding himself at war.

Whats done is done now, now Arcturus's goals are making sure productivity is at maximum level still and now making sure that it's well prepared and defended as well. Arcturus doesn't intend on losing the planet he is charged with by any means.

"The engineers are prepared indeed" he affirmed firmly and with confidence. "We also have labor droids to assist and plenty of material from the Empire and from Simbarc to proceed" Arcturus came prepared in preparation with this. The engineers are the minds of the project, and various droids and skilled laborers will be the muscle of the expansion project.

"That is good news to hear, Governor." she nodded, it was as she expected, the system had yet to fail her or the Empire in anyway. There was a pride to their work, her engineers immediately had noticed when they begun their work together. A partnership with a common goal to see the finest ships produced in the galaxy. "I would like to see production expanded, the Liberty class is an excellent standard." she started, leaning forward some in her seat, "Can we go bigger, and can we develop support frigates to accompany it?" Tiamat asked.

There was an unease she had knowing her support craft did not have the lightspeed capabilities, they were lucky to escape all as they did on Ruusan, but it did not guarantee it happening again with other battles. She wanted to make sure her fleets could escape efficiently in battle and utilize tactics that would make them all superior to their enemies.

"If needed, we can always expand, create satellite dockyards to complete production or to create more parts. I want to see it done regardless of what it takes." Tiamat stated, she was no longer asking, but instead decided it was going to be done. The liberty cruiser needed equally capable support vessels for battle.

Bigger than the Liberty class? The liberty class is as large as the classic Imperial Star Destroyers or the Mon Calamari star cruisers. The next size up is battlecruisers, then dreadnoughts. After thinking, Arcturus thinks they can do it. No. They will do it. "They will be able go bigger." Arcturus said without consulting with the engineer. So the next big leap for the New Alderaanian shipyards will be a battlecruiser.

"Creating satellite dockyards is an excellent idea. While the main dockyard is occupied on building our bigger capital ship designs. The extra dockyards will be able to be able to produce frigates, corvettes, starfighters and parts." he said, the smaller ships or other objects.

Arcturus did have a suggestion "To expedite the creation of additional shipyards while we are under threat, I would like to request enlisting the aid of engineers Drommund Kalakar shipyards." he asked respectfully. The works of Drommund Kalakar are fine indeed, and they are in the nearby traditional Sith worlds. But Arcturus figures the sooner New Alderaan's shipyard infastructure is upgraded, the faster they would be able to get the additional shipyards Tiamat wants, and New Alderaan's production productivity will greatly increase.
