N.C.I.S OOC Discussion Thread

As the title says this is the New Confederacy of Independent Systems' OOC Discussion thread. If you have concerns, ideas or just want to talk about the faction and things related to it then this is the place you can do it.

First on the agenda is complete and incomplete role-plays concerning the NCIS. If everyone busy with one can please send me a link to all of those in this form ("title goes here") via PM; I would really appreciate it.

Next on the agenda can be accredited to Fusion. He has come up with a brilliant idea of having a NPC war while we wait for the real one to start. We will either be warring against the Corporate Sector Authority (or whatever their names are), the Centrality or the Hutts. So any comments, plot ideas and etc are welcome.

My only concern is if this (which it probably does) has to be approved by Admins and FL's... and even so, I have a feeling the Sith and/or Alliance might get involved because no one wants this to happen and they want to crush us before we even start because they're impotent children.

How, in my personal opinion, I think we should 'go for' the Centrality or Corporate sector. I'm leaning more towards the Corporate because we need money right now more so than people

Although, in my opinion, we should be gathering these factions/sectors diplomatically and peacefully. At least for now. I mean, we def need to get more planets/companies before doing this, as I saw by Lavish in his comment on the NCIS faction thread thing.

Anyway, so that's my 2 cents...

I agree with Maverick. How about we do something on a smaller scale. Like there is a revolution on one of the planets under the NCIS' patronage and we go to help the government? That's peacekeeping and not war.

I was thinking about warring with the Corporate Sector.

That would be cool but I didn't think that we could get attacked by other factions in the process. So the next option is better.

The other factions haven't even gone to war with each other yet. I doubt they'd come after us for taking some territory not under any of their control.

We know, but the strong feelings against this faction, I fear, will entice the main factions (don't know/doesn't matter which ones) to attack us and crush us. Then warring with each other is irrelevant as that is far larger scale than what we're talking. As well, we don't really have the number for PC character and certainly not the power to properly defend ourselves.

And why they may not control it, they control everything around it and that, for me, would be more than enough reason to attack/defend it/them.

Well, that's if you allow us to use your whole arsenal. Obviously you just said you would, but then someone could attack your individual factions.

I'm just trying to think of everything. I mean, we'll have to RP this decision IC anyway, but I guess we already know my position, haha.

Anyway, does any have any suggestions for fun (non extremely hostile) things they'd like to do until I get everything sorted out?

Let's do what the ImpKnights are doing and start salvaging some old Clone Wars-era battlefields for material. Why buy what you can simply reassemble?
