Sims 3?? Not sure how good it is as I haven't played it, but something new haha.

Try Baldurs Gate if you've never played it. Made by Bioware in late 90's and Baldurs Gate 2 early 2000's really great story and kind of plays like Diablo, but far better. Not sure if people still play either online, but you can get online as a big party and go around killing things which is neat, think you can get up to 6 people online, could be a SWRP thing haha.

So in the last couple of weeks I've beaten Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Thief Hidden Shadows and Assassins Creed (The ending was utter shite once your out of the animus -_-). I need something to play that has decent graphics and a good story line. I've already run Oblivion into the ground ages ago as well as fallout three so those are out too for a bit.

Help me SWRP your my only hope!

Try the VMB mods and community patches. There really fun.

If you have an Xbox360, rent a copy of Red Faction Guerilla. It makes blowing shit up awesome all over again.

Oh, and Freelancer for the PC is a wickedly awesome way to kill hours and hours of time if your into space games. There's more to see and do in that game than you can shake a Star Destroyer at. Plus, it has awesome graphics for it's time, a great storyline, and some wickedly cool mods.

And if you have acess to a PS2, Kingdom Hearts 2. It's awesome, 'nuff said.

Also, on a slightly retro note, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is one of the best games I've ever played, with almost infinite replay value, and very, very solidly built. They get worse as you progress further into the series, but FFTA is a very good game.
Tactics Advance is utter shit, mate. Original Tactics is the only way to go. The PSP port is beautiful awesome sauce.

Oh, and I suggest Neverwinter Nights 1 and it's expansions, as well as the Baldur's Gate series. You get stupid amounts of game time with just the main story, not to mention NWN's campaign editor/creator.

Also, Warcraft series, if you haven't played them. Classic Warcraft story and just pure fun.

Starcraft is another possible choice. Fairwarning, if you go on battle.net you'll get your arse handed to you. Starcraft players are very serious about their game.

Another game you might want to try out is The Witcher. Very fun Mature fantasy game, with lots of sex with wenches and moraly ambiguous plot descicions.

Finally, I suggest World in Conflict, and the expansion World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. Classic WWIII story set in the late 80's just before the USSR's collapse and their decision to mount a war in Europe that takes America by surprise when they're invaded trough the Seatle Harbour. Soviet Assault gives you a slew of new maps and units, as well as the main story perceived through a company of Soviet soldiers. One of my all-time favourite RTT/S games.

I'll check all those out once I'm done with DoW and it's expansions. I knew it was a good idea to ask the SWRP for help on this matter. :D

Agreed with all of these. Personally I'd take the Baldur's Gate series over NWN in regards to solo play, but the NWN1 online community, at least back when I was playing it, was incredible.

I've actually got both Baldur's Gates installed atm and still replay them every now and then. 2GB of content for either of the BG games (without expansions) coming from an era when harddrives of that size were pretty commonplace - I think that alone testifies to the amount of content those games had.

Avoid NWN2 like the plague, though. What an insult to the franchise that game was.

World of Warcraft?

I agree with you on the Warcraft franchise, they were brilliant... but how can you say that?! Admittedly, never played the original, but I loved FFTA!

Really fun online too. But I hated it when my enemies use tactical support to attack my cannons and AA units. :/

Don't have the full version though: I had a trial version that a friend gave me. T.T

There's your problem. Go out, buy a used PSP, pick up a copy of Tactics, and you'll know why I say it.

Tactics story is utter balls, and they changed around the system just enough to make me hate it.

Ahh!

If you like FFTA, or FFTA2,
then you
NEVER played the original.

FFT has the best plot of any videogame I have ever played (not even KOTOR compares,) and the gameplay makes FFTA and FFTA2 look like... Well, have you ever played Barbie Fashion show?

FINALLY someone who agrees with me! FFT had a beautiful story, with some of the best translated text I've ever seen.

I don't know about comparing it to KOTOR, but in its own right it's a masterpiece.
